I do apologies. Last few days were spent working on a large piece. But now I'll work on smaller ones. So expect mass uploads over the weekend.
Thank you for everyone being patient with me. Once my new job starts (Won't be til the end of the month now due to issues I had with my birth certificate) I will no longer have to open constantly for art, and thus, will be able to work on my backlog without adding to it.
And, if needed, will be able to issue refunds to anyone who wishes for them without worrying about missing rent.

Was having a nap when I got the call (I am sick as a dog today whoops) but the news perked me right up!
I am so pleased!
Thank you everyone who wished me luck, cause for the first time in a while, LADY LUCK TOOK PITY ON ME.
I'll try to get as much done today as I can, but I do have training for most of tomorrow, so I am unsure if I'll get anything done then. So I'll do work on Sunday instead of having it off to make up for time.
It's only part time (With options for covering other shifts/over time) but the wages from it will cover what I need to pay my mum, with a bit spare for my own expenses. So future commissions will really only be for a few bills. And so, I will no longer have to open regularly. Which PLEASES me.

I'm apparently one of the only ones who wants the late hours, so that may also work in my favour. (6pm to 11pm. I live next door so it's not an issue to me lol)
But yer, I think it went well. I should be hearing back from them either today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Cause I need this job. I do like to have a roof over my head after all.
And please dont worry, this won't interfere with art I owe. This job is only 10 hours a week (5 hours on two days) so I still have plenty of time for art work.

I am so happy!
I don't think many people applied for the job as well. So fingers crossed the interview goes well.
If I do get the job, then it's gonna be some major changes to commission work as well. It's only 9 hours a week, so I'm still gonna be doing art.
I won't, however, be opening for YCHs all that much. This will allow me to get some major catch up work done.
I will be able to make ends meet by doing maybe 4 of my cell shading specials a week. Which I can do over a weekend. Leaving me 5 stress free days to catch up on work. Without having to stress about money, I will be able to put all my focus onto older work.
So yes! Hopefully I don't screw this up, and get the job :)

Due to personal reasons, I had to take a few days off to sorts things out. I'm just about over it, so yes I am back to work don't worry.
Currently working on three large pieces which I hope to have done this weekend. I don't have anything planned next week (Unless I get the job) so it's going to be dedicated to catch up work.
Sorting through emails tomorrow (I'm about to pass out as it's 3am) to keep people updated there. So if you have been waiting for an email, you should be getting one then.
I should hopefully be hearing back from the shop I applied to work at soon. Fingers crossed I get it, cause if I do, I will not have to open for work as often, and thus, can really start to catch up. (It's only 9 hours a week, so I'll have plenty of time for art)
So hopefully, things will start to clear up for me soon. And I won't have to worry about being kicked out anytime soon.

Mainly because I need to have more clean art.
So many people (IRL) ask about my work, but as I only ever draw porn, I can't really show off what I can do.
And so, to encourage people to commission cleaner stuff from me, I shall implement a small discount for it.
Gonna try and dedicate some time to do clean personal art too :B
Also I'm applying for a job at a shop down the road. It's only one day a week, but it covers the mortgage. Fingers crossed I get it!

No I'm not opening; want to get more owed art done first. On a roll right now. Gonna be a productive week.
I was just wondering if people like the more cell shaded look?
Still practicing. And I have upgraded the previously owed flat specials to cell shaded so I can carry on getting practice (Of course, if the commissioner prefers just the flats version, I can send them that)
The method I use for cell shading takes only moments tbh. Compared to my soft shading (Which can take several hours just to shade/highlight)
Would people prefer me to offer cell shaded specials instead of the flat specials in the future? Or even have them as a proper commission option?

Things got so bad, I just needed a few days. Still pretty bad, but I do need to get back to work. So expect uploads tonight. A mix of YCHs and the flat specials I still owe.
I'll also be sorting emails as well, send out some WIPs and updates.

Been thinking about offering some up.
I have a lot of designs in mind, but I really shouldn't make anymore characters for myself. So I may offer these out instead.
No blues though. They are closed c: Blues are special.
I'm not talking about copy paste adoptables. Each one will be unique (Unless the owner wants like... an alternate colour to one they buy, then I'll copy paste it) other then that, they will be individual.
Might do one or two on my day off, and see how it goes.

I got drop kicked by food poisoning and a busted arm, but I am back now!
Working right now, so I hope to have some WIPs to send out soon. And get to work on those flat/butt specials.

I fecking love armour. Mechs or fantasy types.
But for the life of me, I can never seem to get it to look right whenever I try to draw such things. When my work-load is less, I'm gonna try and practice more. Cause it's something I would love to be able to draw. Cause tbh, porn is boring, and I really need to broaden my horizons. But sadly, porn is what sells, so I kinda have to force myself to draw that. Oof.
But on the side, I'm gonna try other things. I love me some mechs. Would be amazing to be able to draw it. And then after that... SCENERY. I seriously have to work on backgrounds next.

Ordered a new GPU (Nothing fancy, just something that can run the basics) so I'm hoping that was the only issue my PC had. When it arrives and I get it in, I'm gonna work on my PC again.
My laptop is just too poop for my art programs. So I'll move everything back to my PC, and most likely let my mum use this laptop for her work, as hers is dying.
Work should be done faster this way.
Also a reminder, I do have notes open now. So if you wand to ask about a commission owed, you are welcome to send me one! I understand notes are simpler then emails, but I do prefer emails for sending files is all.

So I've come up with a new work schedule, hopefully this'll help me to catch up. I'm gonna open for less full pieces, and more flat specials. I'll be making less, but I'll be able to focus on the older YCHs and norm commissions.
So here we go:
Monday - YCH
Tuesday - YCH
Wednesday - Norm Commission/specials
Thursday - YCH
Friday - YCH
Sat - Flat specials
Sun - Flat specials/Sketch WIPs for the following week
I will be trying to complete at least one piece a day. Two if I'm not interrupted by life. Gonna really focus now.
Actually got 3 YCHs inked and ready for colours, so I should have those mostly done tonight.
This schedule will be starting next week!
I was gonna post a journal at the beginning/end of each week, saying which piece I shall be working on every day. So that people can see if I'm working on it, and if so, a reminder to keep an eye on emails/notes so that I can get responses ASAP about work :)
I do apologize so much about the wait. And am grateful for the patience most people have shown me. I will try my hardest not to disappoint you guys any longer.

Sorry about that! I needed a few days off due to personal reasons, but I am back to working now! Should have stuff ready to email in the next few days.
Also will be offering another YCH batch tonight. Gotta get the last of the family mortgage sorted. Most of the other batch didn't sell, so I'll probably use those poses for personal work. Want to try an designate at least one day of the week to personal work.
Gonna work extra hard this week to try and catch up! Can't apologise enough for the delays, life just keeps slamming me down every chance it gets.

Maybe it's just spurred by the fact everyone close to me is either married/getting married, or have their own family. And here I am, nearly 30 with nothing to my name :/

I keep saying I'm going to. But then... nothing really happens. I mean I did have a date last year, but I don't think it went anywhere tbh. I seem to have the natural ability to NOT get close to people :V
What a gift of mine.
I was even thinking about going to Confuzzled. But not only is it a little pricey, but I have no one to go with. I'm not splashing hundreds to end up having an anxiety attack and hiding in my hotel room. I can do that at home for free!
My sister suggested clubbing, but that's not to my liking really. Loud noises and booze? Nope. I'm a terrible drinker anyway. And a terrible drunk. Just ask 
Man, being social is bloody hard work.

Still pretty groggy, but I actually managed to stay awake yesterday. And better yet; I have managed to resist going back to energy drinks to function c:
I'm pretty proud of that. A silly thing to be proud of, but every time I've tried to quit in the past, I've always gone crawling back to the stuff.

Also thank you to everyone for the encouragement, and the advice! I appreciate it immensely <3 The quicker I can get my health in a better place, the more I can work. And I am so FUCKING EAGER TO WORK MORE. Seriously, not doing art for several days is fucking depressing me.
If I manage to stay awake again today, I think it may be a good sign that I'm getting there. Gonna try and get a piece done today, I need to get some YCHs done.
Also, for shits and giggles, I might do a dick doodle stream. Who can say no to dicks?

So in an attempt to get my health in a better place, I quit all energy drinks.
My god. The last few days I've been pretty much dead to the world. At this point, I usually crawl back to the stuff just to be able to function, but I know this time I cannot. I need to get this under control.
Forcing myself to stay awake right now, cause I really need to get some work done. But I can already feel myself becoming sluggish. Gonna at least try to get some sketch WIPs done, then ink those when I'm a little more alert after snoozing.

So yes, I am sorry for the wait again. I seriously didn't realise my body was relying on energy drinks this much. But I have to give them up completely not only for my health, but I just cannot afford to feed that habit instead of feeding myself proper food. I had a nervous breakdown when I looked over my finances and saw how much I spend in total on the stuff. Like fuck me, it builds up in costs over time.
Hopefully my body will adapt soon, and my new diet will help as well.
I'm taking this NEW YEAR NEW ME seriously :V

Don't actually do that though...
But yer. Soooooo I was messing around, and found out that my usually colouring/shading technique is done faster in SAI rather then Clip Studio. It looks a little less painter-y, but I think it still looks good (See last commission)
I may have to go back to SAI for colouring, and stick to Clip for lines and textures :B Might make my work time a little faster.
I never really used SAI before on my laptop cause it wouldn't work. Seems to be behaving now!
I'm not looking for short cuts or anything with my art. But if I can do the same quality faster by using a diff program, then I think it's a good thing, right? As long as the quality isn't reduced.
Also wanna try how to do textures like scales and fur properly. Wanna try and have a little more natural look and not the dreaded COUGH PLASTIC LOOKING BODIES COUGH.
Nasty cough I have there.
I know there are brushes with textures like that, but I would like to try and free-hand them. Might look much better if I do that.
