What I mean by this things like, if they were in a cartoon, what would they want? I don't quite know how to explain it.
I have dogs and cats sorted,

A friend in need
Posted 10 years agoI never ask people for donations. But I am in tears right now. Please donate to my friend, he's more than a friend, he is my little brother, we've known each other for years. His parents and family repeatedly tried to stop us from talking to each other but it never worked. Nearly 5 years ago we met by chance, I answered his post on Yahoo Questions, he had asked "How do I become a furry?" I told him it's not something you become, it's something you just feel deep down. He added me on YIM shortly after and we've been family ever since. I still remember out first video chat, he was playing something on his 360 and had to keep repeating "I miss Barney" because I wasn't quite sure what he meant. Then he linked me to "I love you" the song sung at the end of everything Barney, the magic dinosaur. I'm one of the first, if not the first, that he came out to. He felt that comfortable around a complete stranger that he told me something that personal. He couldn't tell his parents. I've been his friend right the way through his various fursona name and species changes.
I don't care that you don't need to know any of that, but he is in need. I feel so sick typing this.

Posted 11 years agoMy day one console came with a download code for Fifa14 and a "day one perks pack dlc" code. If anyone is interested in buying this please message me. GameStop have the disk version for 65 euro. I will not be asking for this much for it, mostly because its not a physical copy I'm selling, and also, it's Fifa, I'd rather attempt to lick my own Gentiles than download and play it. I'd only be asking for around 30-40 euro for it.
Know anyone with an Xbox One that might want it? I think I'm the only one of my friends list that has an xbone... Dead Rising 3 o.o oh my!

Right, Fur-hes and Fur-shes!
I'm hoping to get a few irish furs together to make a game, most likely using RPG Maker VX Ace, or if anyone wants to show me some stuff (even though spending 2 hours to get a simple set of animations to work was soul destroying) in IG Maker, we could use that to make an Action RPG, kinda like Azure Dreams, only without the 3D environment and the pain in the arse curse that drops you back to level one when you leave the tower...
Anyway, yesh! Looking for furs to join in the following categories;
Story peeps (already have a few ideas here, look below),
Music and Sound engineers (may need to erect a sentry every now and then) [note to self to listen to Now That's What Fof Calls Music vol. 1];
Sprite artists (not the kind that paint with fizzy drinks),
Character/environment/object artist, if anyone was good at drawing in a manga/anime style would be preferred, to fit with a SNES 16-bit RPG from the days of yore!
If anyone has experience with RGSS3 you're more than welcome to apply ^_^ for scripts and event/common events and such.
FURS TO FILL NPC POSITIONS!!! What would an RPG be without the humble NPC? Need furs for guards, shop/business owners (and so began the tale, of the sexless inn keeper), general towns folk, creepy forest dwellers, blacksmiths, whitesmiths, suggest a NCP and we might just let you be one ^_^
Right so a few ideas, I was thinking something with branching paths, the main character is the child of a local guild hall person, they put out challenges for adventures, one day you find that there's a challenge with a large reward to bring back the bones of a mythical beast said to be in the forest to the (compass direction), this is the first choice, do nothing, warn the beast, kill the beast yourself. It'll branch out hugely from here, leading to being sent off to get permission from the queen to pass a road block and saving the beast from or choosing to fight the beast with one of the adventurers.
thinking about it, that might be a bit too ambitious for our first game... but, we can add that to the list, along with "DLC: Diverted Loot Contract" Thank to
cybernetichellfire for the name on that one ^_^, but yesh, a list of games to make.
... We best get cracking! SIGN UP ONE AND ALL!
I'll be sorta overseer on this, as well as making the maps and compiling everything ^_^ if my laptop could support streaming I'd say we could stream playtests and even map creation... Post ideas, and applications for positions!
If you could include a link to images/music you've made it'll be a big help. ^_^

Ode to Parents
Posted 12 years agoOh parents, fathers in particular, fathers who seem to be quite knowledgable, end up being the opposite.
So, i'm trying to use a Kinect sensor, MotionBuilder, and brekel kinect to make a character animation for the end of year work experience portion of my college course. I thought this would be a good idea, set us appart from the other groups and maybe gain a few extra marks for it. I'm after attempting to use these programmes and hardwares to test see if i could do it so I could bring my laptop and kinect sensor in to college to make the actual animations there, so that we could all be in agreement about them and so our teachers could see us making them.
It turns out its a two person process (or a one person one if my laptop would stop freezing at the crutial moment!) so i asked my dad to help, "what do i need to do?" "just stand there for a minute" "then what?" "i'll tell ya after"
it calibrates and creates a rough skelleton of my dad.. then he starts to walk away. when i ask where he was going he had started to make toast and it was ready now. I said ok go have it, but he insisted on staying, until i informed him it would take over 10 minutes.
But before all this, he was walking in and out behind me. "oh sorry, am i disturbng it?" every time he walked by it calibrated a new user so i ended up with 3 extra users.
Everytime i try to link the model with my dads mocap skelleton it crashes, so i'm trying to use space off a usb stick as temporary RAM. Hopefully this will work, I'll either edit this or comment on it or something if it does work.

Title Needed Competition styled thingy
Posted 12 years agoRight lads and lassies! writing a story, its a heist story similar to the movie Fanboys (the one where they steal The Phantom Menace :P (love that movie!)) only its about a group breaking into a games company to steal a game.
Here's whar ye all come into play (yay psuedo-pun!) I need a title and can't for the life of me think of one. the two i came up with were Game Breakers, and Game Changers but they seem a bit clichéd... Post ideas for titles and I will contact the winner.. I am intentionally not telling what the prizes are so the winner gets a sur as well as the other prize.

Posted 13 years agoI've set up a payment thingy (technical term there), so I'll be selling my wares soon, just got to fart around with pricing, setting a price range. I'll make out a spreadsheet yokey and upload it soon, just thought i'd let ye all know!

Posted 13 years agoThis is a quick Journal to tell ye all that I will actually be selling my goods, (braidclets, weaved bracelets[photo coming soon], collars/tails) and other stuff (yet unknown) to you, the general public! *salutes* General Public.
Ah, the photos, yes I promised photos, but as you can tell from the photos I've already uploaded, an un-named videogame corperation put shite quality cameras in their handheld devices. That plus my video camera takes bad stills, and my ordinary stills camera is banjaxxed, BUT SALVATION IS (temporarally) HERE! Today we bought my mum her birthday present of a new camera, her birthday is in december, so I'll be holding on to it until then. So... I'll use it to take nice, 12MP quality photos of my stuff to show you all!
And I won't start selling yet, I'll wait until my brain is working for more than five minutes to make a PayPal account. Post a comment or PM me if you're interested!

Braidclets and TTSP, what do you think?

I already offer braclets and necklaces, and although not pictured yet, I offer wool flowers, that can be added to a braclet or necklace, or put on a hair pin (bobby pin to ye A-Murr-icans), or to a safety pin, or even just on their own for you to sew or stick to an item of your choice. I was thinking about offering the following;
Braided collars (photo coming soon)
Braided horse tails (photo coming soon)
and the most recent brainchild, headphones with a flower on each earpiece. again photo coming soon. the colour of headphone would be up to you, as would the colours on the flowers, though I would advise green headphones to look like stems. Links will come soon so check bad every so often, or i'll re-upload this with links.
