Trying to stay afloat. Struggling for time. Looking for a new job. There's a lot going on. Its all one big fight that I feel like I'm losing but I just gotta keep fighting. I feel like when I try to talk through it in discord I'm just annoying people or sounding like I'm trying to seek attention. I think I just want advice.
I'm thinking about what I do next, but with the amount of free time I actually have its maddening. No idea if I should start seriously doing a comic, or open commissions again, or do more dino stuff or try to experiment and animate something, write something or whatever. Nothing I want to do is super hardcore porn so its hard, especially here. I'm not trying to sound defeated or beat myself up or anything like that either - I'm just wondering what I should do that's best with the couple hours I have after work. I can't keep working in a warehouse, it's starting to do things to me.

This is just some ramble I'm putting out to whoever happens to read it. Any advice you could give me is much appreciated and I'll do my best to respond. I'm just really tired, but I don't want to stop fighting.

Its been a rough couple of weeks but everything is starting to look up. I couldn't help but feel like it was the spirit of the holiday season!

I did a journal a few days ago and I was feeling really down when I made it, so I'm going to clarify here.

I got an ultrasound about a week and a half ago and they found an inguinal hernia, among other things. At this time, as far as I know, its not bad and we found it early on. However it is causing some complications waist down. Some aches and pains here and there. I'm getting surgery to have it corrected before it becomes a real issue. I have an appointment about said surgery tomorrow evening and I hope I can get this sorted as soon as possible.

I really want to focus on drawing whatever-the-hell to take my mind off of it, but some days those aches are hitting me out of nowhere, so I'm spending a lot of time laying on my back doing nothing. Its very frustrating. I don't know how long it'll be before I can hop back onto the whole "upload a finished project once a week" thing. Maintaining that work ethic made me feel really good. Straying away from it, even if its for medical reasons, feels really bad. I love doing what I do here even though not a lot of people see it. Makes me feel like I have a chance.

The last journal had some replies saying "Go see a doctor right now", but don't worry guys - At that point in time I had already seen a doctor about all this. Appreciate your concern :)

Sorry if this isn't very well structured but its better than just doom-posting like a sentence or two.

I wanted to leave this year with a good work ethic and that ethic has become zero. I can't even sit or stand at my tablet comfortably to work.

Hi.
I've been thinking about starting one of these subscription based things to post art maybe a few weeks early for quite some time now. I'm man enough to admit that I am an armature still, that I have no idea what I'm doing and, if I'm being honest, I'm not the most confident person these past few years. The idea of stating a Patreon or a Subscribestar is so I can worry less about making enough to sustain myself with just my day job and allowing myself even more time to make content, practice art and even study animation. Maybe even one day being able to work a day job part time instead of full. Maybe even quitting, but lets focus on the present.
I've heard that Patreon isn't the best to work with these days so that's why I'm focused on Subscribestar (or any other good alternative you could think of). In regards to what I think I can offer is seeing my gallery uploads a week or two early, discounts on commissions, more WIPs and so on.
I only have 775 watchers at the time I'm writing this and half of those are probably dead pages, so is going this route a good idea? Probably not, but I need to try something new - my current situation is starting to get bad.

-You must provide a reference, or references, for me to use. Full or simple reference sheets make things a helluva lot easier, but I will do my best with other pictures of your character(s) to use as reference, just as long as the picture has a clear view of the character in question.

- If you require a dead-line of some sort for your order I must be aware of this in advanced at least two weeks giving me plenty of time to finish it before your desired dead-line. I may not be able to push you to the top of the que just because you want/need your picture sooner and I apologies.

- Please, do not rush me. If you would like an update on your commission all you need to do is ask. I'm happy to share WIPs with you whenever I am able to!

- It is alright if you add your Commission to your gallery, crediting me as the artist and everyone's character in the picture, of course.

- I may be able to post any finished pictures to my own gallery (giving credit to your character(s) of course).

- If you would like to change your order, please contact me right away.

- Limit is 3 orders at a time.

Payment
- I accept PayPal payments ONLY. No other types of payments can or will be accepted at this time. I'll provide my PayPal email once we've established your commission.

- Payment must be made in USD currency.

- Full payment is required before your commission can be started.

- Prices may/will vary, depending on the nature of the art being commissioned. For example - Character designs with lots of lines.
- Remember to tip your artists, whoever they may be! (You know... if you can).
