I'm tired of everything.

Hey guys.
For the pat few weeks I've been thinking about reopening commissions again. Last night I started thinking that I would completely reworking my commission rules and prices, make a new price sheet and open some slots. I don't know. What do you guys think? How many of you would want comms again?

I think this following week I'm going to take the week off. Not going to work on art. I'll get back to it in time for 4th of July. I have some ideas in mind for it. But for now I'm tired and I'm not doing well so I'm just going to take the week off.

Just found out my card was used for a $2,300. Got it and my card account canceled and I'm hoping I can get that money back. I think I'm over reacting but I'm currently so anxious about the situation I can't focus on anything else. What if its not just my card? what if its passwords or something too? Am I being paranoid?

This next week is of to a fantastic damn start.

Oh boy here I go making bad decisions again
I'm going to start uploading to a few new sites! I've made new pages on Weasyl and Hentai Foundry, as well as made the decision to upload to Inkbunny again. I have also decided to bring my Twitter back for better or worse.

This evening I'll be messing around with the newest version of Postybirb to try and make this a little more manageable. I'll be uploading everything I've done this past 3 months to the aforementioned pages this evening and will begin updating them as regularly as I do my Fur Affinity. Some weird stuff might happen, or at least I anticipate that happening, but we'll see how it goes!

If this whole account disappears then something has gone horribly awry. Wish me luck!

Give a quick read, please.
I'm sort of struggling to maintain a good work ethic with my artwork. The root of the problem is simply time - I feel like I just don't have enough to crank out art fast enough while maintaining its quality. I can't just quit my job because its my only reliable source of income so I have to work around it.
How do you guys manage your free time before and after your work hours to get as much out of it as you can?

I'm working on a price sheet that's fair so I can start this whole thing up again. I like drawing for you guys and I'd like to do it regularly again!

Hey do you guys know anyone who does background art?
I'm trying to learn how to draw more detailed and elaborate backgrounds. I'd like to improve specifically urban environments. Nature as well.
How do you draw backgrounds? How did you learn to draw backgrounds? Whats some good ideas to practice and improve?

Welcome. If you are here wanting to order a commission then you may find the following information will be quite helpful


Information
-You must provide a reference, or references, for me to use. Full or simple reference sheets make things a helluva lot easier, but I will do my best with other pictures of your character(s) to use as reference, just as long as the picture has a clear view of the character in question. I may ask for a true reference sheet if this method is unsuccessful

- I have a first come, first serve policy - Whoever commissions me sooner gets a higher spot on the list while someone who commissions me later will get a lower spot on the list.

- If you require a dead-line of some sort for your order I must be aware of this in advanced at least one month giving me plenty of time to finish it before your desired dead-line. I will not be able to push you to the top of the que just because you want/need your picture sooner.

- Please, do not rush me. If you would like an update on your commission all you need to do is ask. I will also send you a message informing you that I am ready to start your commission.

- It is alright if you add your Commission/Request/Trade to your user page's Gallery, crediting me as the artist and ownership of everyone's character in the picture, of course.

- I may be able to post any finished orders to my own gallery (giving credit to your character(s) of course).

- If you would like a WIP, please just send me a message and I’ll send one to you. From this point we can discuss any changes you’d like made to the picture.

- For Commissions - Limit is 3 orders at a time.

- For Requests - Limit is 1 order at a time unless otherwise noted.

- I accept PayPal payments ONLY. No other types of payments can or will be accepted. I'll provide my PayPal email once you note me. If your requesting an art trade the payment will be artwork. If its a request your after then the art is free, silly.

- Payment must be made in USD currency

- Full payment is required before I start your order. I will prompt you to send payment as soon as I am ready to start your order and not a moment before.

- Prices may/will vary, depending on the nature of the art being commissioned.

Its been 3 mooooooonths D:

Hi everybody, Im back! I started a new job recently and spent the last three or so months getting into the groove of my new schedule. Nothing fancy, just a deliver/warehouse job for an electric supply company. Its pretty nice.
Anyway, that's where I've been. Also been working on a few art projects in my free time. I already finished and uploaded one yesterday for you guys to see!

Oh yeah, I also want to open commissions again for flat color stuff. The new job pays well enough but I don't like being paid ever two weeks. I also want to interact with the fandom a bit more and want to draw for people again. I'll be updating info this weekend and uploading a brand spankin' new price sheet I made. We'll see how it goes!

Hey gang. Lets say I, hypothetically, made a discord server to hang out with fans, share work in progress, get critique on my art, and talk about games, movies, art and other junk for fun.

How would anyone interested in joining go about actually joining it? Do I post my personal discord and they can add me as a friend? Do I post the invite link that expires after 7 days? I have no idea what I'm doing. :)

Few things on my mind. I’ll be brief.


I want to find a way to interact with people more. I think I value getting comments on my stuff more than views and faves just because its fun to read and respond to them. Its incredibly fun to shit-post in the comment section of my art and other peoples art, but I'm sure there is something I can do that's more engaging. Just have to find it lol.

I’ve also been struggling to find a new job lately and I don't want to be caught without any income whatsoever. I’m thinking about opening commissions again. I’m not sure about this yet but I’ll keep people updated.

I'm trying to do stuff regarding backgrounds and lighting and stuff and I'm pulling my hair out over it. I'm still here I just haven't been uploading when I really should be. Its all good.

Hi everyone! I'm going on a small rant about myself and my art. Here we go -

Its been about a year since things started getting weird in my life and I’m glad I’ve made it through it so far. Things are still sort of weird I suppose, but maybe I’m learning to really overcome it. I’m overcoming all of my personal problems anyway. This is all personal stuff no one wants to hear too much about so lemme talk a little about art, yeah?

Last few weeks I’ve been finishing up a class and decided I needed to put all my focus into that. But, now that I’ve passed this class, I really need to get back to drawing stuff. Someone wrote a journal recently in which they asked if anyone else felt intimidated whenever other artists uploaded artwork and I think they hit that nail right on the head – I feel that pressure, too, and it sucks. I can’t put my finger on what it really is but whenever I see other artists or peers uploading stuff while I’m sitting around with a thumb up my butt I get this weird anxiety. I feel like I got to be doing something, too. Anyone else feel that at all?

Anyway, I’m gonna find some stuff to draw. Maybe just sketches for a while since I’ve struck a wall on doing backgrounds. I don't know if I should draw the background first and then the characters on top of it or vise-versa. Not sure how much time I should spend on all the details in the background either, since the character, or characters in the frame are going to obscure much of it anyway. I also don’t know who to draw. I’ve got several anthro characters that I thought I was gonna make into some kind of comic and I feel like I need to respect that to at least some degree but I know most people ain't that interested. Robots and Aeromorphs seem to have a lot of interest among a large portion of my watchers so maybe I should satisfy that demographic. Hell, it would satisfy me, too, so there isn’t much harm in that. I just don’t know what my focus should be. I need to establish a little identity in all of my characters on all fronts I think to make them more interesting. I think everyone would appreciate that.

Its very frustrating that I lack a lot of criticism on my work. Its hard to judge what aspects of my art I need to improve if no-one is calling it out. I understand and appreciate constructive criticism and I’ve never been demoralized by it. Maybe I feel awkward to actively ask for it.

Alright, that’s all I got. This is probably one of my weakest structured journals come to think of it but it is what it is. Maybe I’ll find the focus to upload at least one thing before the week is out, but we’ll see.
