As a casual artist, and not someone who does commissions on a regular basis, I haven't had much to post. I've kinda been neglecting my account lately but I promise still check it regularly. I'm more of a watcher anyway ;)

I have been doing art more regularly now, so I should have some things ready to post soon. I'm also negotiating the purchase of a fursuit I won on auction on Furbuy. I'll post lots of pictures of that too!

Status update:
Went to MFF this year and had a blast. I've made some awesome new friends to hang out and do dorky fuzzy things with. School has been pretty stressful for me, but I'm getting through it. I can't wait to be through the holiday season and to start the new year. I'm going through my submissions and culling unwanted stuff like the ads for the few times I tried to sell commissions. All regular art will stay though.

Really, it was a whole lot of fun. Thanks to and for showing me a great time. I saw a little bit, but it wasn't a big deal since we go to the same school and I can see him all the time if I really wanted to, lol.

There's a whole lot more to talk about but it would be a novel and a half, but it was amazing. Great first con :)

This is a little late, since I technically finished work on my suit about two weeks ago, but I got my boyfriend to take pictures the other day and I've posted them now. Also, MFF is in a few days and I'm really excited. Just thought I'd tell you all :)

I have made it my goal to finish my costume into a fursuit partial before attending MFF this year. I'm pretty confident I can do it. Never made a fursuit before. The head is what will probably give me the most grief, I can tell right now. But I will do it! The only problem will be finding time to do it in between work and school.

I've found some great help in tutorials and guides at matrices.net but if you have any other resources, feel free to share. I'm still looking for some examples/guides to making wings. I don't want big complicated working wings. Instead I would just want something small but you can tell that they're wings. I really do like seeing how other people construct their costumes and it will help to give me ideas and inspiration with mine.

I'll be posting WIPs as I go, so feel free to offer any comments or suggestions on them!

This will be my first con.

Yes, I'm a con virgin. And I'm exited but a little nervous, especially for the fact that I have no idea what the hell to bring/pack. Costume, change of clothes, and soap for sure, but as far as money and other little things go, I don't know what I'll need.

Anyone want to offer some advice? It would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm am opening up cheap sketch commissions for a while now. I decided I don't quite want to commit to an iron artist, but I figure I have to start somewhere.

-All character types welcome, though please keep your requests PG-13 at most. (No fetishes please, tame pin-up type requests are okay)

I'm still here, even though I haven't updated in a while. Funny thing is, I finished my antler headband and was going to upload photos and I was going to start my iron artist commissions when my computer got a crippling virus rendering it unsuable. Sad, I know! I've been using a different computer this past week while I hope I can get my laptop (with my Photoshop on it) fixed. -crosses fingers-

Holy shit! I just applied for college.... o.O

To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel. It's an odd mix of excitement, and crap-my-pants fear. But I'm pretty confident that I'll be accepted, between my ACT scores, grades, the small amount of extra-curriculars I've been able to cram into my senior year*, and the fact that I'm a 'legacy student' applying to the same school my dad has graduated from.

So this is that 'big step' everyone always talks about. That ellusive thing called college that teachers, parents, and school guidance counselors cram down your throat from middle school. It's hard to believe I'm actually there now. That I'm right on the edge of the 'big step' and I'm excited, and scared at the same time. But I'm ready, and I know I'll do well. XD

*I am fully aware of the fact a person should participate in extra-curriculars ALL years of high school. But I started at a tiny high school that had jack shit for extra-curriculars, so I changed schools (a little late, but my bullheaded mother prevented me from doing so earlier) for the sole purpose of taking harder classes and getting some extra-curriculars and clubs included.

This is more closer to WILL be doing an Iron Artist than WILL NOT be doing an Iron Artist.

The idea mostly came about after seeing  FayV raised almost $400 for her friend by doing an Iron Artist. And the prices were pretty low too. So I'm sure the demand is there. It's mostly just me finding the muse and time to work on all of the slots if I do an IA. But knowing I'm going to have to leave both of my summer jobs (and the large possibility that I won't be able to find another job upon returning to mom's house for school) I've been looking for ways to make some cash in the meantime.

I have a feeling that I'm getting myself into WAAAY more than I will be able to handle, but hell, it's worth the shot....

I decided I want to get some more practice doing sketches, especially with things that I don't do very often. All you have to do is note me which a description of the character/s you want in the picture (unlimited number of characters, but no backgrounds right now). I only ask that it be tame/clean. Otherwise ask away!
