I haven't dropped off the planet...

Thanks for asking about me. I'm still here – still fine – just, well, haven't written. Reason? Actually & surprisingly, the fetish doesn't jazz me the way it used to. Doesn't get me moving & writing. Since before puberty, I was always jazzed by inflation and explosions. But now - not so much.
I've gone through other times when it calmed down – it came back: we'll see. Meanwhile, still love to come here and see what y'all are up to in terms of new things. Keep it up. And again – thanks for asking.

Well, about time for this story...
Posted 14 years agoFinally - got that Jones&Jones story: Inflation is... - sorta - done.
But – whattaya do when you write a story, and – while not totally awful – it’d not what you intended it to be? Stories should initially come together fast - and then, yes, there’s refinement and rewriting – but – like a good piecrust – it shouldn’t be handled too much, or instead of being flaky and tender, it gets tough.
That’s what I feel about this story: I handled it too much – it’s tough.
I lost the character of Jones2 (no it’s not under the cushions on the couch, and I didn’t misplace it in the pantry) and the chain-of-events is too difficult, extenuated, and doesn’t build in tension, either pneumatic, sexual, or storywise.
Lots of other stuff wrong, too (sigh…)
But, as it’s not totally awful, and there are a lot of points and development that I do like - - and, as I spent a lot of time (too much) on it – and, most importantly, for others (not having to go though all the angst and rewrites – it would have to be almost entirely rewritten to make it truly work: and I’m just not into doing that) it might be entertaining, I’m posting it. Hopefully, you’ll like it more than I do.
And hope this downer-introduction hasn’t ruined it for you.

Posted 15 years agoI'm starting a new Jones&Jones story - and the boys are going to be sued for Trademark Infringement by a character – until the boys 'expand his mind' - and more than that - and make him see the error of his ways.
Anyway: for the character - who is a combination Accountant/Lawyer: I have:
1) weasel: - seems appropriate…
2) ferret: seems more accurate for an investigator
3) Hog: 'I'm NOT a hog, I'm a boar!" 'Yeah,' thought Jones1, ' I shoulda guessed 'cause you ARE actually a BORE...'
4) Badger
5) Hyena: 'cause they're so bloodthirsty
Let me know what y'all think - which one I should use: or submit your own!

FYI: New Internet traffic patterns
Posted 15 years agoJust to let y'all know - I'll be visiting furraffinity a it less frequently in the immediate future because of limited internet accessibility. Doesn't mean that I've gone away or dropped off the face of the earth. Still post to me (might take a bit of time to get back to you) - I'm also working on another story or two - one featuring those wacko-brothers, Jones & Jones.
