Posted a year agoMY GOODNESS! I didn't know the settings changed to "Verified only"!! How long was this on for?!!!
So a potential client messaged me on Facebook saying that they couldn't reach me on X (Twitter) because it didn't allow them to send DMs to me. I was shocked as I've never blocked my DMs and so I checked my DM settings and it turns out, for some odd reason, my Twitter DMs were set to accept only those by 'verified users' instead of 'everyone'. Do you know how few verified users there are? I was livid. How long has these settings been on for? I'm not the kind of person to fiddle with these things. Gosh, how many clients have I missed because of this? 😭 No wonder my client intake from X have decreased.
Anyway, my X (Twitter) Direct Messages are now open to receive requests from everyone again.
Again, a thousand apologies to any potential clients who wanted to reach out to me on X (Twitter). Hopefully I'm able to regain traffic from there again.
In other news, COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! 🔥🔥🔥

Yep, it's official. January is just a trial month. 2024 starts in February this year and you know what that means! 🔥🔥🔥 FEBRUARY COMMISSION SLOTS ARE NOW OPEN! 🔥🔥🔥. Again, sorry for being behind deadline. The weather has been rainy and so I had to fix leaks and on top of that so many other things seem to happen all at once. As a result of that I haven't been able to be in front of my PC often. To remedy that, I'm pushing everyone from the January slots to the February slots since I'm simply THAT late. It sucks for me to miss a whole month of salary, but hey, the fault was on me for being late. So for those who would want to get the last few slots of February, now's your chance! Extreme weather change in my country has made everyone hella sick (yes, I wasn't the only one). I don't think I've fallen sick this consecutively before. I'm sorry for the delay in commission progress. I'm currently down with the flu. The weather has been extreme and my body's immune system finally caved in so I got infected with a virus. Don't worry, I'm recovering already but my throat's still a little bit sore and I'm still a phlegm factory. I've started working again but wanted to inform all of you just in case you were wondering what the hold up was.
Food poisoning + flu in one month. My goodness...

This month I had to go on a retreat for 3 days making me 3 days behind on schedule so I've decided to close the 4th available slot month. Since July is Insignia month (a month where I work on my webcomic, Insignia, live on stream) there will be no commission slots available then, HOWEVER depending on the scale of the commission, I might be able to squeeze in 1 commission for in July, we'll see what order comes in next. It's the month of fasting here in Indonesia and although I'm not a Muslim, the entire city basically shuts down for 2 weeks which implies me being preoccupied in running this household all on my own, chores and all. I just made a new Twitter account (@InsigniaComic) exclusively for my Insignia comic. This will make it easier to keep up with the story since it won't be mixed up with my commission illustrations. As far as Twitter goes, I'll be uploading my comic there instead of my own Twitter (@KoruXypress) from now on. Please follow me and like my posts there as well.
