Posted 7 years agoAs you probably see I'm a little more active again here. This is in part thanks to Postybirb a cross site uploader for various artsites including this one.
Since I'm not putting a link under every submission I make with it, I'm putting it here SPoF-style.
I'm using it with DeviantArt, FurAffinity and Weasyl and so far it worked out for me.
My Telegram channel, and through that also Twitter, FB, G+ (yes really) and LiveJournal (yep that too) still remain the most updated channels, but on the galleries I try to reflect and explain things, if I happen to think of it.
Oh and yeah I'm trying to use Instagram too sometimes, but there I'm more for posting WiPs (gracefully taking photos of glaring screens or badly lit sketches) and cropped versions, so yeah .. quality content.👍
I'm happy for all comments and favs and read them all despite posting with a tool.

Posted 8 years agoI've put up a telegram channel mainly for sketches, even though "sketches" happen to be roughly colored and inked these days. As things go, I mostly post my drawings there allthough I try to get PNG-versions up here too in time.

EF21 - a wonderfull experience
Posted 10 years agoToday I arrived back home after Eurofurence. I gotta say, I was thrilled. So many people, many suiters, artists, new and old friends, Just wow.
I arrived on Monday (Day -1) in Berlin, when everyone was just setting everything up for the real event. Then I was lucky to meet some staffers, that usually only flash by during the con.
On day 0 (the normal early arrival day) I could happily greet so many people, I havn't seen in 2 years (cause I skipped EF20). Slowly the con picked up the pace and I found myself dashing around the lobby, artists lounge and some room parties. I offered early commission sketches and was actually suprised about the interest I recieved right away.
Day 1: Now everyone was there and I'm sure I missed some awesome people, but with 2000 furries it's an illusion talking to everyone. Basically same programm for me as day 0.
On day 2 EF finally got up and running fast, I spent my time in the Dealer's Den doing full watercolor drawings and again was amazed how many nice commissioneers and co-artists there were. A little Black Ice rounded off the evening for me.
On Friday the art show (I havn't been even close to, at least not when it was filled) was allready closing and I got a glimpse at the awesome arts there, after my shift at the DD was done. Also Eddie Mcbadger and jazzbadger had a little badger-themed photoshoot. I hope they post the pictures soon. A nice evening at the campfire and in the AL followed.
Saturday everything slowed down for me. I only did sketches at the DD, cause I wasn't sure if more detailed works were finished in time. I'm just not comfortable taking commission request back home, it kinda pulls me out of pace. The evening was a little more chaotic than usual, but I had a good time .. whereever I was.
Sunday was the last day for many and I could only wave goodbye at many awesome people. I think my main memory was my "Iron Artist"-thing I put myself through. I was drawing for 4-5 hours at the charity booth, the first to come and the last to leave. Next to me Baseball Bat, and Scare3cr0w were drawing, card tricks were shown and "Uncle Kage's homemade emergency mini pizza" were sold. As estimations go, I'm pretty sure charity broke the 30k this year.
Monday was the goodbye day for me. I left later than most and got some little sketch commissions in the meantime. I left with Lurinare by public transport (I definitely suggest everyone to be careful and alert in Berlin's PT) and later by bus through Prague. The trip was supernice, I wished I could've showered before the trip, but sadly there wasn't enough time and opportunity.
Today at 4AM we arrived in one piece in Vienna, finally collapsed in the long-missed own bed.
Thanks for everyone at EF for this awesome experience. Staffers, Dealers, Artists, Suiters and also people, that (like me) just couldn't wipe that smile off their face.

Spontaneous Cesfur visit

lurinare and me are able to visit CesFur for a day. I'll be dashing around between all those friendly faces.
Almost everything went smooth and everything was AWESOME. Booze, arting, some nice talks, well yeah. Good time.
It was great meeting people like

raikadelanoche (who stood strong talking English when all the others returned to their native tongue)

short note about a long trip
Posted 11 years agoBack from US and after settling in (with some concrud as well) time to write some update.
I've taken a little time off to visit US for 2 weeks together with Luri.
First we took a little stroll through NY, being more tourist-like at first and later general getting an impression of this large city. Including some bar-hopping with jdpuppy in Korea-Town.
Then for the main part going to
orlandofurs, checking out Disneyworld and Universal Studios, but leaving just enough time to see long-time-no-see or never-before-seen friends and checking out a local furmeet. Special thanks to tonyringtail and yuchicoyote for their company on our tours, and to kuddlepup and dingoroo for nice inspiring meets.
Also thanks to yappyfox for visiting Funday Pawpet Show on site. It was an amazing experience to see him, Mutt, Ezra and Poink in action.
After a visit to the Blue Man Group it was time to leave the US behind, but not without a nice set of Pop-Tards and return toooo ... nah, not Austria, party is going on at
czechfurs for Zodiacon, a nice little con with crazy n geeky people in central Czech.
All in all I really enjoyed the trip. I finally have regained my inking skills and motivation for silly, crazy or generally strange art, we all know and love, and a growing interest for Arduino tinkering.

I was happy to meet

(whose suitperformance was really fun to watch). The highs and lows of cosplay culture are quite interesting to me. Some costumes are really fancy n detailed while others are just quick rough ideas of the char.
Anime PPL and fursuits are highly compatiple. Who doesn't love life-sized plushies that move on their own. Baseball, Dog and Cat had fun there, Eddie couldn't make it this year.
Now to get all that facepaint out of the fursuit -.-

about "that" MLP movie
Posted 12 years agoI watched it when it aired on regular TV here. yes, now I know where all this fanart came from, I try to summarize this movie. I don't really think it's bad, but the plotholes are a bit too huge to enjoy it.
Opinions, that just hit it for me:
* I'm a horse, vote me fall princess
* Lets make a movie to sell MLP Barbies.
* Can we get that pony pr0n under controll?
It's a very colorfull movie, but the series was animated way better.
Everybody that wants some continuation of MLP:FIM: the IDW comics are quite nice and I'm sure some panels make awesome meme and trolling material. ;)

back from Cesfur
Posted 12 years agoArrived back in Vienna after a very nice Cesfur. Location was decent, food and drinks were good and the czech furs were lighthearted and unstressed as I remember them.
It took me a while to get in the mood, but the con-feeling got me and it was an awesome time for me. I havn't drawn so much in months, so expect to see some con-related pics soon.

paarasyte were happily presenting our work there, selling prints, little pieces of jewelry and an all new comic by the Austrian comic community.
