. Know anyone open with decent prices? :] $30 or so is my price range for a badge right now. Badges also don't have to be color because... she's gray and white, lol. SO! Any suggestions from the peanut gallery? :D

I am doing designs and adoptables on a template I whipped up this morning. <3 It's a simple reference sheet, and comes with color, info bar, simple bg, and name. I can do simple customizations for free [things like hair edits, simple hellhound traits, or small accessories], though any big changes/add ons will need to be worked out case-by-case and may cost a bit extra. This is mostly just something for me to do quickly between working on commissions, school, and actual work right now.
Designs will be $7, and recolors of current characters onto this will be $4. I take PAYPAL ONLY on orders of less than $10. On orders of $10+ I will also accept snailmail payments.
This lineart is NOT and WILL NOT become a free use template, and will only be available via design purchase or adoptable.
I may possibly make a more 'feminine' lineart in the future to be used alongside this one, if there is enough interest.

Posted 14 years agoAaaaah turning 22 today omg. And... it makes me feel old. ALL THOSE MILESTONES YOU COUNT YOUR YOUTH BY? 16? 18? 21? I have finally passed them all... does this mean I have to act like an 'adult' now!?!? Because I like goofing off and derping around and generally doing 'unadult' things lol. It's like... how do I equate this age to myself? It's so weird.
BUT! Anyway! Today has been a pretty awesome birthday so far. YES. <3 I stayed up until about 5 AM chattering away and making goo-goo eyes at the girl I like, and all was well. FFFF And really it just made my day 1000000x better fjdkslafdj [B Otherwise, I am sleep deprived and happy and in classes.

1. How long have you known you are part of the LGBT community?
Uhhh I admitted it to myself when I was a senior in high school. Still not out of the closet to my family, however my friends know. <3
2. Was it a struggle (emotionally) for you at the beginning?
Very much so. Especially since I am a Christian woman, but I feel that God made me the way I am, and he couldn't have made me wrong. God will accept me whether I love a man or a woman.
3. How did you start to discover your sexuality? (Example, thoughts, feelings…etc)
In seventh grade I had just as many thoughts of kissing girls than I did boys. I was relatively horrified, because since, at the time, I was a fat chick with short hair, I was naturally teased as being a 'lesbian' (like it was a bad thing). And for a kid in denial, being teased about it just makes it worse.
4. What part of the LGBT community do you belong to? (Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, etc)

5. How long have you been out of the closet, or if your not, do you plan to be at some point?
I honestly don't really talk about it much. My sexuality isn't the deciding factor of my personality, but for the most part I am fairly open about it and if asked I won't lie. I am a girl that likes girls and boys and everything in between. c: I've debated for a long while about telling my parents and family, and I know in my head they would accept me (pretty sure my parents already know lol), but it's just... kind of terrifying.

I'm sure they know, but I haven't said anything.

I... think they would... my Dad would, I know, but I'm not totally sure about my mom. I don't quite fit in with the standard 'upper class of suburbia' image she likes.

Family --> UM. If I'm out of that family closet lol.
9. What 3 things ANGERS THE HELL outta you about people's terrible 'opinions' about the LGBT community or certain comments, acts, etc...
-That there are LAWS about gay marriage. Who the fuck is the government (or even it's citizens who do not support it) to say people shouldn't "be allowed" to marry their same gender. Just.. fdklsafhjdsalk pisses me off.
-When ignorant people don't recognize that transgender is not a CHOICE. When they think it's a fad or some other bullshit and try to force their opinions and social norms on a transgendered boy or girl. I have HUGEHUGEHUGE amounts of respect and empathy for the transgendered, and the amount of people who are completely ignorant and stupid about the subject really make me loose my cool.
-In reverse, I hate people that use their "sexuality" as a crutch. PEOPLE DO NOT ALWAYS HATE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE KISSING THE SAME GENDER. If your nasty self has your tongue rammed down someone's throat and are dry humping your significant other in public, and some poor security guard sees you and you're told to cool your jets, it's not because you're gay. It's because you're being gross and nobody wants to see that. Straight people get in trouble for the same things, it's not just you.

I like a lot of girls. :'D Now, if the question is do I feel attracted to someone romantically, I would say that I may have a crush, but nothing is certain. c:

Adoptable Suggestions
Posted 14 years agoSo I've doodled up an anthro adoptable base while at work today, and was wondering if people had suggestions for color schemes/weird anatomy things to add that I could doodle up. They're androgynous bases, so people can choose their own gender. TAILS - Foo dog, snow leopard, lizard/dragon, tufted (lion, gerbil), thin (short haired cat/dog, rat), floofy (canines), devil (thin w/ triangle tip)

EARS - upright big pointy, upright small pointy, halfway floppy, totally floppy, bunny up, bunny down, round down, upright round

Posted 14 years agoNo more fast food for me. Ever. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that all it does is make me sick. I went on an 'all natural' sort of diet for a while, and ever since my body just... does not tolerate overly greasy or instant things. Which kind of sucks, because it's a lot cheaper than cooking everything, but I figure it's gonna be for the best anyway. Better on my body, and I do enjoy cooking for myself/my family.
I can still handle my sweet tea though, thank goodness.
So! Anyone have any yummy recipes they'd like to share? :D I want to get back in the swing of cooking (since my Dad really only stocks the fridge with instant food, bleh).

She's obviously been on her own for a while, has fleas and some ticks, and is dirty and emaciated. So of course, I brought the poor baby home with me. Our house has enough animals at the moment, so keeping her is a no-go. Dad's adamant, and I'm moving within a month, so it's really not fair for me to even think about it. I would prefer to find her a good home, rather than turn her in to the local humane society or aspca, but even a shelter is better than on the streets.

I have never seen so many dykes amused by dicks. I swear to god bahaha. So Bad Dragon had a raffle thing at their stand, and had TINY REPLICA DONGS. Like, an inch or two long. Just. Tiny little things. AND THEY STUCK TO THINGS. XDD I think stuffedanimal was going to sell the extra ones she got, so if you missed out, I'd recommend hitting her up! :D!
There were so many awesome art jams, cuddles, boobs, snuggle sleep trains, communal showers, beautiful people, sweet personalities, fursuits, dancers, and getting lost in Pittsburgh looking for deli meat! We had some great adventures, and over all it was a fantastic first Anthrocon. Very memorable and I really just had a great time. ;v;
The Omni was great, very roomy and comfortable, with super friendly staff and service. I think next year hollenheist mentioned we'd get a bigger room, so I will have to see about dragging more lovely ladies into our group! <3 YES I'M TALKING TO YOU THERAL. ;D ;D ;D Abububu <333

I'm irked I won't be able to bring my laptop (it needs to be fixed), but then again that just means I'll be doing something else (and probably something cooler) than sitting in front of a computer.
Going to try to buy a couple sketchbooks, one for me and one for other people to draw in. :D it should be great haha.
Aaand I probably should have preregistered, seeing as it's.... Anthrocon lol. But I'll just get my pass when I get there, derp. I know hasn't gotten hers either, so maybe we can bum around in line together or something. I have to wait at home and pick up my paycheck from work before getting there though, and of course mail here comes in the afternoon. So even if I don't get to the registration table right at two, it shouldn't be too long after, seeing as I'm only 45 minutes or so from Pittsburgh.

Balto and Jenna Plushes?
Posted 15 years agoOkay, so I was actually thinking about selling mine (if my mom hasn't thrown it away by now, ugh. She said she'd look for it, but I'm really hoping they're just in the garage or my old closet), and was wondering if anyone had an idea of what they're worth? I've heard anywhere between $150-$200 for Balto, and $100 for Jenna, but I could be wrong.
I got them as a kid (in '95, I think), but they're still in pretty good condition. Jenna's is a bit more worn, because her 'ankles' were really small and couldn't support the weight of the toy well, so she sits lopsided. I don't have a picture of the Jenna plush, but here's what my Balto one looks like:

Awesome Fursuit Head Bases by a Friend!
Posted 15 years agoEveryone seriously needs to check out kurobis and her awesome head base sculpts. She's got some serious talent, and in currently in a financial bind. But she's a super awesome person and does amazing work. So seriously, if you want a head base or have ever wanted one, there's no question that one from her would be totally worth it (If I wasn't broke myself, I would be all up on that like a pregnant woman on ice cream and pickles). ;D
