Yaroul's Misadventures, January (plus voting pt.2)
Posted 2 years agoWarming days and melting snow with fresh green growth budding on bushes and trees signalled the start of early spring. A time when work would be cut out for many of the land. There were crops to plant and materials to gather, food had to be secured as the harsh winter months took its toll on her supply. Spring was also the time for mating which meant the woods was particularly dangerous. Males were typically in rut and testosterone-driven to breed, frustration taken out on anyone unlucky enough to come across the aggressive sex when they were competing for the females. It would not be safe for her to do much foraging too far from her home.
What made the timing worse was her own heat. Something she had to deal with all year rather than being contained to one or two particular seasons and being alone left the drawolf with an annoyed air about her. Typically she could make it through the time without a partner, self-satisfaction could only go so far to curb the tendencies sometimes. This was one of those heats.
Yaroul preoccupied herself with chores to keep her mind from thinking too much of the problem between her legs. The puffed vulva made walking rather annoying, with each step having her thighs rub against the flesh full of excited nerves had it nearly constantly slick. Her scent was, without a doubt, left around the entirety of her land as she worked though she had no worries about someone coming by from the village to notice, she was rarely ever visited anyways.
As the evening rolled around, she ventured out into the thinned woods nearby her fence to search for early spring herbs that she could use to spice up dinner, taking breaks between scanning the ground to listen to the sounds of mating calls in the distance of the monsters and beasts that called the forest home. A pang hit her nether regions at the momentary thought of seeking one of the males out to consider coming to an agreement for the both of them to vent out sexual tension, causing her sex to drip a bit to the ground below her. Shaking her head to banish the thoughts, Yaroul turned herself around with an annoyed small thump of her thick tail to the ground. It was simply too dangerous to ponder right now, she could end up seriously hurt, or worse. Maybe after dinner she could try and appease the feelings with some self-pleasure.
With night having fallen and a modest dinner of potato, dried meat and fresh herbs to sate her stomach, the other hunger still gnawed at her insides. Sighing heavily, she opened the door to her cottage and headed out with a lantern to the nearby woodpile by the barn to collect some logs for keeping the home warm tonight and finally would have some time to deal with that problem.
Picking up a few pieces of logs to pile into her arms, an ear flicked back at the sound of footsteps behind her, turning her head to peer at a form barely visible in the darkness of the night, except the piercing amber eyes that glowed fiercely.
Moonlight reflected dark iridescent scales and rimmed a body that rivaled that of massive draft horses. Two wings were curled against its sides, unable to see their full immense size but she could see for certain this was a dragon that normally did not hail from this area and likely migrated for the season. A young one likely looking for a territory to call home.
She raised her lantern a little so her body was not blocking the light, slowly setting down the logs to the ground so as to not make too much noise to startle the dragon. If it had wanted to harm her, it wouldn't have let her turn around and see it, so she could guess that it was interested in something, though that would be made more clear when as she had bent down to place the logs to the ground and the lantern that it... he... was male.
The flush of desire hit her once more, feeling her sex twitch at the sight of the half-exposed shaft, barely making out the ridges and thickness from her position and the poor lighting but enough of a glance to have her consider her choices and biting her lower lip.

The Setting
The fantastical world that Yaroul lives in is primarily in an age of growing advancement and constant danger for the inhabitants. Technology-wise, it is roughly between the periods of the Golden Age of piracy and the Western era, many things were often fought with close quarter melee weapons but advancements in firearms are on the rise. Electricity, coal and steam engines are fairly commonplace in more civilized cities and kingdoms while the rest of the world primarily still works under the strength of beasts of burden and dwindling magic.
Magic itself is dwindling the less the populous partakes in studying the arts, instead focusing on the advancements of mechanics and soon entering the cusp of an industrial era. The convenience of electrity, steam, and that nearly any non-magically gifted person may use these technological marvels without dedicating years to a craft pushes the population to adopt the easier route. Many of the people have lost the gift of magic as a consequence though there is still some remnants around, particularly in dedicated schools, some military fields and in the wilderness.
The world follows the same sort of biomes that Earth does, seasonal weather dependent on where on the planet one resides, with the geographical poles covered in ice. The planet is slightly angled differently and rotates a bit more slowly, making each year longer and some small portions of the world in a perpetual twilight for the majority of the year.
The lands are under the rule of kingdoms, either with a sole sovereign or a collection of high-ranked governing officials, with expansive territories that encompass much of the known world with exception to particularly dangerous regions where monsters, dragons and the like make their claim.
The world is composed of many intelligent species, from humans to elves, dwarves, halflings, giants, beastfolk and more. Practically all forms on the planet are intelligent in some capacity, some more than others with the ability to communicate past language barriers like many of the governing races. Even beasts of burden and monsters have some forms of intelligence, while more advanced species like humans, elves and giants may take advantage of their skills and abilities to subjegate them into servitude, others may take more diplomatic approaches to working with the beasts. Magic of some form is often needed to communicate with the 'lesser' beasts through the use of though-speak or telepathy and their use of thought-language is sometimes difficult to understand, simple words to try and get a point across, though body language is much preferred for them, being unable to speak normally does not make them unintelligent.

Drawolves, a brief look
While not the most common of species, drawolves are incredibly adaptable and have spread around nearly all parts of the world. Each tribe has grown skills and forms over generations that enable them to survive the toughest environment, from the highest mountains and coldest ice sheets to the most inhospitable desert. Their adaptability is due to their unique ability to intermingle with other species outside of their own, adopting traits that enable them to better survive their environment.
Drawolves, their name being a combination of dragon-wolf, are a blend of both mammal and reptilian. Dragons, being well known for their strong virility, have passed this trait down to the drawolves, allowing them to intermingle and adopt traits from other races and species while still retaining their primary species. The canine in them allows the drawolf to be particularly adaptable to changing environments and have a close-knit tribal culture. A drawolf does not need to breed exclusively with other drawolves or 'advanced' races, drawolves are able to intermingle with nearly all lifeforms much like a dragon. No drawolf is 'pure', every drawolf is mixed with some other race or species in some percentage even if not visibly changed.
Drawolves enter a type of heat or rut once a month that lasts a few days to a week and are able to conceive at any time of the year. The race is able to bear either live young or clutches of eggs, primarily dependent on what the partner is. When their partner is a drawolf, dragon or egg-laying species, then the female will lay a clutch, when their partner is a mammal, the female will instead bear live young. Clutches and young can range anywhere from one to three at a time, with rarely there being a fourth. Clutches form much faster than young as most of their growth is done with incubation that lasts about two months, eggs forming within a few days of mating, while live young take between two and three months to form. Both live and clutch-born young take twenty years to sexually mature and may live up to about 150 years.
Being a more tribal race, the majority of drawolves live in villages in close-knit communities, though some may mix in with other settlements and in cities for the most adventurous. Drawolf attire is typically non-existent save for some 'decency' with a loincloth and armor, as their fur coats generally keep them well protected from the environment. Desert drawolves are the most advanced of the tribes, having become much more involved in the growing industrial era and being rather adept mechanics due to their small size, nimble fingers, clever minds and an insatiable thirst for knowledge and trade, thus it is most often Desert drawolves that are seen in cities and easily intermingling with other races.

Yaroul lives as a hermit in a small cottage on the edge of the woods near a village some few hours travel by mount. She is not particularly as social as others of her race and enjoys her solitude and space though can be coaxed out from time to time, particularly when she needs supplies or to help someone. Hailing from the Tundra tribe, Yaroul exhibits the general traits of her race of dragon and wolf, while also having the thicker coat and massive snowshoe-like paws of tundra and arctic breeds. Yaroul in particular has the tuffed cheeks similarly to a lynx which sets her apart from some of her people.
Due to genetics, Yaroul is infertile and unable to bear offspring. Though she can still form eggs from breeding with egg-laying partners, they are empty of any life inside. Oftentimes these eggs are discarded, rarely eaten or left in the woods for predatory beasts that would enjoy the treat.
Yaroul often prefers the company of intelligent beasts and the monsters within the woods, finding them much more fascinating and honest than the people who reside in villages and cities whom may lie, cheat or rob a person for their own selfish reasons. She has a simple form of innate magic that allows her to communicate through telepathy and reading visual cues to understand and converse in some extent, having practiced the art since she was young has kept her skilled in the abilities and comes second nature to the female. She will often travel to learn more about a particular beast and add it to her knowledge, hoping to one day open a sanctuary for beasts and monsters to help rehabilitate them or simply to clear them of undesirable behaviors, such as the case for some beasts of burden from the village.
Yaroul also has access to a long lost forbidden magic of being able to teleport or travel through different realms or planes. There is no actual timeline between these spaces so the time that she spends in these far off places will not reflect back much in her actual world. She will use these new worlds to expand her knowledge of unique creatures and customs, though the species may not be available in her own world, the experiences are memorable and she sometimes revisits realms she had been to before to learn more. (These realms can be almost any fantasy world, from Pokemon to HTTYD).

New Year, New Project
Posted 2 years agoI'd like to start a project for the new year... Here's what I am thinking.
Choose Your Own Adventure style story/mini-series featuring Yaroul with various creatures she may be studying/tending to.
Each mini story will be over the course of 1 month (so 12 in total).
-You- guys will have the chance to vote for what happens in the story, voting on the creature she is paired up with and what possible route happens next!
Thought this might be interesting and fun!
First question I have for all of you is.... Should this mini-series project follow....
Yaroul going out into my random fantasy world/multi-verse to research different species/races/etc and ending up in misadventures?

Do they look good, do you prefer it over my more digital pieces and colors? Should I stick with this new style or go back to the old one? I really enjoy the program but I would love your guys input!

Posted 2 years agoNow that I moved in and am getting settled, I think it's time for a bit of change with my scheduling and to give people more chances at getting an in-stream commission! The new days and times are posted on my main profile but I'll explain a bit of the themes here...
Monster Monday - Get your character monsterfied, have a monster created for you, or have your character fucking a monster/cryptid of my design :D
Wing-It Wednesday - Don't think I really need to explain this one... you provide the reference and I pick the pose/scene/etc
Feral Friday - Pretty explanatory as well but specifying now that as long as ONE character in a pairing is feral, you can apply! (anthro x feral is cool now!)

Posted 2 years agoI spent my first night at my new place! Computer is set up and I have LOADS to unpack! It'll probably take me all week haha.
On Wednesday for those who watch my streams, please let me know how the internet holds up. I am aware that Picarto is slow itself and requires frequent refreshes sometimes but I want to know if there's any cutting/skipping of frames while working!
Along with my new move I am gonna think about switching some of my stream days around for In-Stream commissions. I'd like to keep Feral Fridays but move Saturday to another day of the week. Any suggestions?

Posted 2 years agoI signed my new lease agreement yesterday, so March 1st I'll be able to occupy my new apartment. It's only a 10-15 min drive away from my mom's place which she really loves. HOPEFULLY, where I am now can fix their damn elevator because it's been out going on 3 weeks now :/ and I can't move my stuff down 4 flights of stairs just to get out of this place.
So my streams/activity might be a bit spotty until I'm fully moved, just to warn everyone!

Posted 3 years agoHopefully you guys are liking the survival journal entries so far!
Now that nearly all of the new pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet/Violet has been leaked, I might allow a small handful of them on the island though the rules of region-specific pokes still apply (Can't have any of the tauros or toxic wooper unfortunately). I'll be honest though, I'm not really a fan of the majority of the new pokemon designs haha. Some kinda feel very lazy like the entire Pawmi line pretty much just getting slightly fluffier and bigger.
What are your guys thoughts and opinions so far for the project? Anything you hope to see for it?

Anyone who contributes via https://ko-fi.com/yaroul can be eligible to have Brooke experience a random encounter with a pokemon! Some of these encounters will be normal studying of it in its habitat, how it interacts with other pokemon, or could also even be more hands on! The more you wish to donate, the more likely the encounter may happen. Just make sure to send me a note on Ko-Fi after your donation (please mention the name of the donor so I know who it is) with what sort of pokemon encounter she may experience. Not all of the encounters will be sexual btw! But some can be!
The donations are NOT required for me to continue this project, but they do give the readers a chance to participate and the encounters will help the story move along. Who knows what sort of mischief may happen!
There are restrictions of course to the pokemon and subject manner allowed. I do not allow any crazy fetishes like vore, slime, hypnosis, bathroom stuff, salazzle pheromone stuff, etc... and of course no killing of Brooke!
Restricted Pokemon (Sorry there is a lot of them but I do gotta keep the island believable in species and ecosystem).
- This world is set around the time of Pokemon Legends Arceus, keep this in mind!
- Most 'starter' pokemon will not be on the island simply due to rarity of them in general.
- No designer-dog like pokemon such as Fidough, Lilipup, Furfrou, etc. (Basically if it looks like it could have bred by humans from a wolf to a dog breed, it's a no)
- No Riolu/Lucario (sorry I just do not find them all that appealing)
- I am not interested in subjecting Brooke to any breeding with bug-type pokemon with the exception of Scyther + Evos, or Golisopod
- No fossil pokemon (there is nothing at the time to bring them back to life, however I can be convinced to make a 'descendant' of a fossil pokemon exclusive to the island)
- No Urban/Man-made pokemon such as... Grimer, Trubbish, Rotom, Yamask, Porygon, etc
- No Sub-Legendaries/Legendaries/Mythical pokemon ( https://www.serebii.net/pokemon/legendary.shtml ) (It just wouldn't make sense for them to be on this island)
- Almost all pokemon types are allowed, however there will be limited ghost, ice and fire pokemon simply because their areas are not very large on the island.
- No regional variant pokemon from areas like Hisuian, Galarian, etc. Only normal variants OR my own version of them (example... the Poochyena is a regional to this island)

It's coming.... Monster Month!
For the entire month of October, I like to celebrate Halloween by having my weekend sketch streams dedicated to the event. Here's the bits about it!
- No Cooldowns applied! Anyone currently on a Cooldown can apply as well! The only thing is you can only get one per weekend (just to give other people a chance).
- You can choose one of these three to be valid for the Monster Month event... (please remember that my TOS still applies for all commissions)
Have your character monsterfied! Design is entirely up to my choice but you can pick which monster inspires the transformation!
Have your character paired with a monster! Design of the monster is entirely up to my choice but you can pick what creatures inspire it!
Get a monster character designed for you! Pick what parts and what creatures inspire the design and let me go ham ;D (Artist's Choice)

Concerning Friday Stream, moved to Thursday this week!
Posted 3 years agoFriday the family and I are going to the circus to watch acrobatics perform :D I don't think I've been to see one of these since I was like... 16 or 17. Anyways, since it's happening that day, I doubt I can make it in time for stream so I will be moving Feral Friday stream to Thursday this week at the usual time of 6:45pm Mountain. Hope to see you there!

And the winner is...
At 31.3% of votes... The birthday Feraligatr!
At a close second was the Green Dragon (D&D) with 27.1% and in third the Hisuian Zoroark at 14.6% of votes.
We shall now go onto the next stage of Spicy Stories, the funding!
From now until the 17th of May, all donations made to my Ko-fi will be pooled together to determine the end result of this months' story.
Remember, the more that is gathered, the more detailed and spicy the story and artwork will be!

Btw if anyone is wondering... yes a Feraligatr is compatible enough with a Drawolf to make eggies :P (I classify as Drawolves being in a few Pokemon 'breeding groups')
