FC Report!
Posted 14 years agoWhat an amazing journey I had over the last couple weeks. Im going to do my best to try to recap it all, and if it is anything like my MFF recap, then you're in for a long story.
It all really started the first week of January, when I started making a new head for a fursuit to premeire at Further Confusion. It took a lot of work, and I honestly couldn't have done it without the help of a few friends who encouraged me and helped me just have fun with the project. Special thanks to drraccoon, AMWULF, and Tyrant_Wolf for visiting and chillin with me while I streamed.
On the 8th, at the buttcrack of dawn, PROWLERCAT gave me a ride to the airport and I headed on my way to Utah. I was met there by LEONICNINJA Stormy, and a friend, and my adventure began. That day was full of good food, meeting new people, hanging out, and watching good movies. It was awesome meeting ThayRustback and EVAUK and watching movies with them, as well as seeing alexandre for the first time since RMFC.
The next day was another cool adventure, going skiing with LEONICNINJA, relaxing, then journeying up to meet up with some awesome furs from north of Salt Lake City for dinner at an amazing Indian food place that was litterally part of a gas station. So much fun was had, and it was really amazing to meet a few of LEONICNINJA's friends.
On Tuesday, our plans got shuffled around a little, and we ended up just hanging out and getting ready for the long journey. We left the Salt Lake City area around midnight and drove all the way to San Jose. There was an extra long stop in Sacremento for some vehicle troubles, but overall the trip went smoothly. When we finally made it and unpacked, we began what would be a 6 day FC adventure.
Honestly, I cannot remember every minute so I will try to do my best by remembering by my favorite things in order as well as I can.
The first night was spent with Evauk, Thay, Pawz, Monk-A, and other roomies. Gotta say I loved these guys.
Frolic-
By far the most amazing dance I have ever been to. The place was offsite, the dance was packed (literally no way to bend over in the outdoor) which made you get to know a lot of people closely. Honestly I met and spent time dancing with so many amazing people, that I know I will miss one or two. I loved dancing with Sarah Dee, Hydra, Temba, Meek, Koj, Ari, Kiwa, Techbat, Evauk, Monk-a, and many more. I remember drinking, talking, dancing and just having a good time. The night was capped with getting my ear tag in the bathroom, and meeting Luka, who was a sweet and awesome dude. Even got to take pictures with two locals, and invited them back to the hotel lobby so they could experience more furries XD
Dead Dog-
Awesome dance! Especially awesome thanks to Amwulf, who was my partner for a lot of the time! Got to meet some cool people there which was amazing, and then hang out with Lexi and Star. We went back to their room, shared fursuit making tips and life stories. It was so incredible to bond with them in that way. Such amazing people!
DBag Dawg- My first time in this suit and it was truly amazing to explore and have fun with him. He was great to dance in, fun to hang out with, and of course had the best bro fist of all the suits.
Meals-
Such great food was had, but more importantly the company I had it with really made it. I loved Bijon with Tahoe, Johnny Rockets with Temba, and again with Monk-A, Pawz, Mystic, and Dusky, late lunch with Luka, and lunch with Evauk and Thay, and the fun suiting/food adventure with Amwulf, Star, and Lexi to Atomic Burrito, as well as with Monk-A to Psycho Donuts.
Hanging out with Cool People-
Honestly the best part of the convention was just connecting with people. Special thanks goes to SarahDee and Amwulf for introducing me to amazing people, and to Thay, Evauk, and Monk-A for just being awesome friends.
Honestly I cannot speak enough about the awesome people I met. I would LOVE to share more with you guys but man its so tough! There were so many memories. I would love to hear any of your favorites as well! It was such an amazing adventure, and I cant wait until next year!

Updates on my fuzzy self

So this is a wild and crazy month for me. Some big things happening and big things happened. I've had some great weekends with friends, some emotional times at home, done a lot of cool crafty/arty things, and am excited for what the future holds!
A few things that are up and coming in my life:
This month, on the 27th of December, I turn 29. Yup, you heard me right. Scary huh? I always have mixed feelings about my birthday (It is cursed, you know... ask me the story if you see me in a stream sometime), but am excited about this one.
Next month I will be going to FC! That should be an amazing event, and I cannot wait to spend time with some great friends I hardly see, and meet new friends as well.
I am working on a new partial for myself. He should be premiering at FC! I didn't have any people take me up on the fursuit commission yet, at least not for the by FC slot, so I decided to hone my skills and make a character that was rattling around in my head. Keep watchin to find out more..

I have made some amaaaazing friends who I love dearly, had some life changing experiences, and done some really fun and new things. A year ago I would never have thought I would have owned a fursuit (let alone made one), gone to a furry convention (and I have done 3 now!), or had friends from Ohio to Australia to Europe and everywhere in between. This place has been wonderful to me, and I cant thank all you guys enough!
And in other milestone news, I hit 500 watchers last night, and 6000 pageviews last week! Thanks to all of you guys! I'm glad you enjoy hanging out with me on streams (those are the highlights of my weeks), and seeing the things I am working on. I hope to keep you guys excited in the next year, as who knows What that is going to bring!

Posted 14 years agoSo, after a Lot of thought I have decided to open up for a fursuit commission. I will be able to have it done by FC in January so if you go I can hand deliver it. This is just one for now, if I get more than one person interested, I will probably choose which one most interests me most. If it goes well, however, I should open back up and be able to consider those that I might have passed up.
If you are interested, send an e-mail to yonoafuzzbutt [at] hotmail.com that has a reference picture as well as the following details:
Parts desired: Head, Tail, Feet, Hands, Sleeves, Bodysuit, etc
For the head: Type of eyes (follow me, static, toony, realistic), moving jaw, and any other details (dont skimp here!)
Body suit: Padding, leg type (digitigrade or plantigrade)
Hand paws: Claws or no?
My basic process is I will skype with you and sketch out your head and other details, in an attempt to make sure I have a good understanding of what you want. Posted 14 years agoWhat a freaking amazing time. I am Still running high on memories and the excitement (well what I can remember... sometimes it was a blur ^_~). I'm going to attempt to summarize my crazy adventure here, but I Know I'm going to forget a few things. If you have a memory of meeting me, or favorite memory of us hanging out (even if it was for just a few seconds) please let me know!! This is going to be a long journal, so brace yourself =3
Thursday morning we left, I started gathering the local furries at 3 am in my van (free candy!). Rode down with prowlercat, amwulf, 
shibby, 
rolfie, and 
drraccoon. I rented the pretty freaking fabulous van (it had all sorts of cool accessories) and drove the majority of the way. HUGE thanks to Prowler for taking the wheel at times. I didn't sleep at all the night before as I was finishing up my first fursuit head/arms/hands commission. We met up along the way with wyngaed, 
joeysparkz, 
mandakatt, and 
wulfsige and drove the rest of the way to Chicago on each other's tail.
We arrived in Chicago in the afternoon and I got to see midnightdraven and leonicninja in my room (the other roomie was Rico). I then, with the help of the lovely Midnight (MJ), finished up a few small things on neevipanda's partial and gave it to him. That was amazing to watch and I Loved seeing him throughout the convention.
Headed up to the room of Wingaed, Joey, Wolfsige, and tahoe and had some epic pizza with them and other furs, such as lupozewolf and Prowler. I spent a lot of time in that room, but it really was awesome getting to know those fabulous furries, and try some new things, like Wulfsige's amazing cordial's. AMMAAAZING =D We headed to the store and purchased some supplies and just had a great time that evening. Eventually we suited up and Yonoa got to see the convention. So much fun, so many hugs to be had. I forgot to bring a belt and they wouldn't let me buy one at WalMart, those jerkfaces, so I had some tail issues the first night. At one time my really fast stitching popped out and I was left trying to hold my tail on all nonchalantly. Of Course thats when people I know from all over show up and want to hug XD erro helped me out in getting away and to the room. Did some quick repairs and headed back out. The rest of the night was a blur. I don't quite know how late I stayed up but it was probably like 3 am. ( Again, if I met you at this time, let me know XD)
Day two started with a trip to a different walmart and dunkin donuts! YAY FOR DUNKIN!! Got a dozen of em so I could be prepared =3 Got back and attended Registration-Con, where I saw a bunch of furs that I knew. Thanks to Noel for hanging out in line with us! I debated putting my work in the art show and working the artist alley, but I decided against it all. I made this con about suiting and meeting new furs and not about dealing like RMFC was. (Don't get me wrong, RMFC was AMAZING, i just didn't get to suit as much as I wanted!) We walked around a little and I got to see some amazing suits. We were right there when the dealer's den opened, so I walked around and found caribou whom I had met at AC when she hosted a watercolor panel, and got a great steampunk badge from her. Someday I hope to get a much larger picture from her but right now I'm happy with a little piece of wearable art =3.
As the day passed I made my way back into suit and the dance. That was a load of fun, and the night never seemed to end. I remember suiting around with Joey and diggyroo (who has an awesome suit, wish I could have hang out with him more!) and meeting up with furries like Amwulf until it was so late/early that a new suiter came out in the morning and we passed the furry torch. If I met you at that time let me know! I saw so many cool furries way late that night =3
Day Three- Woke up and went the dance class... thing... led by kwik and skyryd3r who were astounding to work with. Dance is something I have wanted to do for a Long time, and all my training (way back when) was more ballroom and latin. Kwik even complimented me ^//^ It was fun, even tho I had 3 hrs of sleep XD Then Noel and I met up with sodalite for some amazing noms in his room. After that, wandered around a bit, did the fursuit parade, looked adorbz like normal and hung out with people. Grabbed some noms, a nap, and spent some time with Wyngaed, Joey, and WolfSige again. This crew is so much fun! Then headed out in suit, met random people, and partied. I remember hanging out with jynxkitty for a bit, and making my way to bed around 4 or 5... the rest of the night was a blur XD
Day Four- Sunday- More hanging out with furs. Tried to spend more time with MJ. Suited a bit, did the fursuit games, and saw some AMAZING suits again, right up close. It was my first fursuit games and boy was it fun. Met a lot of furs in the headless lounge, including kotanu who I had previously met at RMFC (Still totally in love with your suit =3 ). The rest of the day was filled with friends and hanging out. It was quite enjoyable. The whole thing was topped off with the 3am fursuit parade =3
Day 5- Said goodbye to some great friends. MJ, Noel, Wyn, Joey, Wulf, Mandakatt, and man the list could go on and on. A long drive home, and finally my own bed (after hanging my suit of course ^^ ) .
It was such an amazing time, and I was on a happy high the whole time. Congrats for making it through my epic long journal if you read it! Now for some highlights-
Favorite Memories:
The first hug I got from Joey. Never actually Met the guy in person but he had visited my stream before and he hugged me and spun me around. That Never gets old =3
Giving Neevi his partial and watching him explore the world in it. I felt like he was about to tear up a little when he got it, and I know that made me do so.
Sharing my crazy, messed up stories with new friends. It was so wonderful to feel so accepted.
Just plain hanging out with friends in rooms, watching movies, etc.
Holding hands with a guy in suit. MJ might have been the only one that knew this but I had never held a hand with a guy in public before. And even though it was in suit at a convention, it really just made my heart melt. Still does =3
Meeting pkmotors! YAY! Thanks for the CD! I'm listening to it right now =3
Watching the fursuit dance competition- made me want to dance so much, and I am going to enter one of these one day.
And probably my favorite was just getting into character and having fun. It was an amazing trip and there were so many hugs to be had. I am ALWAYS open for happy hugs. And I wish I could give every one of you who reads this one =3

I'd just like to inform you of some cool things going on in my life!
OMFG- OMFG THIS was SOO much fun! I met some absolutely wonderful people, and made some new friends who I just can't wait to see again =D I might have to make my way down to the cities to go to a meet so I can see them again!
House- I am buying a HOUSE! Its a cute little 3 bedroom 1 bath house with a Garage =D Which means no more freezing my ass off and cleaning snow off my car! Just gotta clean it off my driveway XD But I will also be devoting one room in my house to art/crafts, so I can spend more time doing what I love at home (instead of at my office at work which is where you normally see me)
TheFuzzFactory- Some of you might have noticed a new little icon on my page for who built my fursuit. I decided to actually make a name for my fursuit making hobby (even though I'm still new to this), so I created
. I know I haven't done a great deal yet, but I loved the name so I pounced on it (rawr!). Expect to see some things there soon! But I will keep posting stuff here as well. Announcements that I am streaming will always be posted here, but completed projects will go there. I'll try not to double post but it might happen XD
So thanks to you all for hanging out with me at my streams and in person, or just enjoying my work ^^ I really appreciate it. In a year full of difficult times, this website has been a great outlet to help me work through my emotions.

So i have been wanting to try digital work for a while (only one pic in my gallery from ohh, a year ago) just for fun, but I have a problem- I don't really have money to buy one! Right now I have a wacom bamboo little cute thing but I have no pen for it! So I'm trying to find someone who is willing to do a trade or sell me a pen or the tablet for a deal. I don't wanna buy a new one! So anyone out there have a pen or pen and tablet that they could send my way in exchange for some art? Or um, paws or something? I like being crafty =D

Upcoming Events!
Posted 14 years agoJust a little blurb on some events that I plan on attending in the near future!
First- OMFG- October Minnesota Furry Gathering, on the 15th! I plan on rooming with neevipanda and having a blast there. I am trying to figure out if I wanna make a costume for my fursuit or not, and if I have enough time to do so in the first place XD
Second- MFF- Midwest Furfest- November 18-20th. Leaving the night of the 17th, maybe super early the 18th, getting there early afternoon. Will be carpooling with drraccoon and maybe others? If you are interested in you gotta let me/us know so we can figure out the ride situation. Rooming with drraccoon, midnightdraven, and leonicninja for an awesome time of fun and adventure. Also having a few spaces reserved in the art show, which should be fun! Gotta get some work together!
Third- FC- Further Confusion- January 12th thru 16th. Probably flying out the 8th and returning the 17th, to visit with a friend leonicninja and go skiing for the first time in a couple years. Maybe hang out with some utah furs in their native habitat? Who knows! Either way I'm looking forward to it. And as for the convention, right now I haven't booked a hotel yet, but I am planning on reserving a room. I know that duskyhusky will be rooming with me (Yay! Can't wait to see my aussie friend and drool over his accent =P~). And I look forward to hanging out with a bunch of furs, including, but not limited to, 
kibacheetah, amwulf, shibby, sarahdee, and WHO knows who else!!
Let me know if you're planning on attending any of these events cuz I would like to hang out.

Posted 14 years agoSo I was informed recently that there wasn't enough information about me on my journal so I thought I would make a little post that describes a little bit about what I like, love, and, well, find annoying with other people. I'm going to name a few of my friends along with this journal to let them know I love them in specific ways ^^
What Yonoa is attracted to:
-Passion/Dedication: Someone who devotes themselves to what they do is very attractive to me. Great examples are Rico's knowledge of technology and his passion for his work, Dusky's dedication to conventions and making his own suit, Prowler's ridiculous ability to quote practically any movie ever,, and many more who I am forgetting to name.
-Talent/Skill: I am incredibly attracted to people who have talent and skill. As someone who believes that talent and skill are worked on not just given, i admire those who use their abilities in their lives. Friends like MJ and Nire and DD who have an amazing talent in artwork, whose pieces inspire me to do better works. People like Kiba (with his chainmail) and Noel (with dance) who have skills, something that they are using to enrich their life and the lives of others.
-Kindness: There are so many people I love that I have met in the last year. People who share this with others are amazing to me, and have helped me through some really tough times in the last year.
What Yonoa Loves:
-Good Conversation: I strive for meaningful conversations in my life, and when I get that I feel so amazingly fulfilled. Every day I look forward to talking with MJ and Dusky, two friends who ask questions about my life, who show they care by asking about the events in my day and life. Others who do this regularly are Neevi, Rico, Nire, and many more. I love you guys a lot =3
-Going out: I love to go out on dates, even as friends. Going to ihop and playing Magic, or watching a movie is super to me. But even more points if you can surprise me with something fun.
-People who message me first: OMG I love being messaged first XD Vix, a new friend, has made me feel special by doing this, but so have many others like Neevi and MJ and others.
-To be invited: I am often the one inviting people to things, or coming up with ideas, or even inviting myself over to friend's houses, so when someone just asks if I want to hang out, I feel loved. This can't happen enough for me. Maybe it is because it didn't happen much when I was younger, but any time that people invite me to something I feel special.
-Affection: HUGS! I love good hugs. I hate it when I get a one armed hug or a side hug or whatever. If you are a friend of mine, I wanna give you a big hug.
-Gifts: A wild Yonoa loves to give gifts to those he cares about. He also loves to receive them. Not really expensive gifts, but ones that show that you are thinking about him. For example, a little bottle of Mt. Dew Live Wire, or box of nerds, or even a cute sketch or something like that goes a long way with me. I cherish trinkets for a long long time, as they bring with them memories of that person.
-Honesty: Just tell me the truth ^^ If I upset you, tell me. If I do something that you like, tell me. This is super important with my art, as I love constructive criticism. I have a low self-esteem when it comes to art, and I cherish someone who can be truthful with me about it.
-To feel appreciated: I put a lot into my relationships and I guess all these things are just signs that I am appreciated.
What Yonoa doesn't like:
-Bad conversation: One word replies are a huge turn off for me, and people that just turn the conversation to sex. C'mon, there are much better things to talk about.
-People who leave their messenger to Online status who aren't really there XD Drives me CRAAAAZZZYYYY lol
-People who use me: I know, obvious right? But there are many times I have felt used by other furs for one reason or another. It really hurts a lot to feel like once a person has gotten what they want from you they stop talking to you.
-To feel left out/unappreciated: Obvious one right? But when people I care for talk about having no friends (when I'm there with them), or about their great day (but don't mention our time together as part of that great day), it really hurts. When I find out a group of my friends are hanging out without asking if I want to hang out, it makes me kinda sad. I'm sure it does for everyone, but this is my journal so Nyah =p
