reminder about art repository
Posted 7 months ago7 weeks ago i gave some news about a linktree. please keep yourself in the know by making use of the art repository in it. you'll be able to access very old art, or newer art that i haven't posted, like stuff from last year's hiatus. there may also be very new stuff i made just recently that could be there. maybe, i'm not sure. sometimes i get too lazy and forget to post it here to furaffinity.

Posted 7 months agomy username is different now. my username is DelicateDan
and i think i'll be now signing works differently. you can still call me Del
anyway some of the links have changed to reflect the name change. also uhhh some other things will be getting a facelift. the "original stuff" folder is too large, so i won't be updating it but it'll still be a legacy folder in my gallery (at least until the other folders are updated and itll go away) i'll make some new folders for stuff. like 2cd or kubi or other characters. more to come in time.
adios,

Ko family thingy
Posted 10 months agoI have a lot about that ko family and the universe they are a part of. it's called The Vice Kompany. thing is... how do I share all that stuff? I don't want to debut the wiki I'm making for them just yet, but I think what I'll do is like... one submission that'll introduce the thing. the plot, the characters, and whatnot. There's a good amount of art I have of them.
it's a lot to think about, especially taking it on by myself and managing a wiki and all. I just gotta pour a lot into it. I hope I'll be able to get it right but whatever
I'll just do what I can to have fun

Posted a year agoreflecting on commissions
Posted a year agoit was pretty crazy wasn't it that I last did them about two years ago https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45376022/
looking at the old comm sheet gives me mixed feelings. I don't even know how I could price my art all these days. my style is not always consistent: could be fully traditional, sketches, digital things, hybrid, cel or airbrush, any mix or experiment, and I could never think of a suitable price.
come to think of it, I'm not sure why I did take them at all. i think it was because I felt id advance myself by drawing subject matters originating from beyond my own thought. "fuck it," and try something different. felt confident at my craft, wanted to see how it would fare with unfamiliar characters or prompts.
I'm against comms for a few reasons. I'll always keep art as a hobby, I don't want to have it become a responsibility. plus, artistic freedom. everything I make wholly reflects my indulgent interests and that is the best. you're just around to see me spoil myself rotten 24/7
ah things were never about the money or fame. I bet if I did do comms much regularly, I could be even more wildly popular and make more money. but my income right now is stable and I'm content with not chasing after statistics or growth or outreach. as long as I get to fricken jack off to my art, I'm winning

Guerilla marketing successful
Posted 2 years agoI went to further confusion and did it. I had iyo strapped to my back and I held my binder out and a lot of people saw the sign, stopped, or interacted with me. I think 100-150 or so looked at the sign, and 30 interacted with me in some way.
we made some small talk as i let interested and curious furries pick through about 150 of my drawings, and they took different ones. I gave most of everyone I interacted with my stickers of iyo feet or my business card.
two photographers stopped in the course of me being there and took a photo or video of me with my binder. another furry wanted me to sign the art before collecting it. they spoke nicely of it.
Lots of curious folks. All I had to do was "I saw you looking at the sign," or "I caught you looking, so you acknowledge me" and worked my magic.
if you reading this collected one of my drawings or business cards or stickers, welcome. enjoy feet

Re: giving out art
Posted 2 years agoI'm going to the fur con in San Jose (on Friday only) and I'll have this binder with iyo on it https://media.discordapp.net/attach.....187edd8ee0200&
the binder will say too "ask me about free feet" and I'll open the binder to give out my drawings. I'll hole punch my stuff and put it in there, signed with my username.
I'll also wear my iyo feet hat. yes. it's a patch of iyo's feet. don't believe me? https://media.discordapp.net/attach.....e8e9bc9a3f968&
I think I'll also take the giant iyo plushie and strap her to my back. if all these things don't tell you I'm the feet dealer, I don't know what will.

training ai generated art
Posted 2 years agoI wonder how I could train an ai on my own art to generate more like it. I don't know how. it seems too esoteric. if I could get an ai to create work similar to my own, that would be very interesting.
but i have no idea how it works. which ai do you use? (stable diffusion?) do you have to have powerful hardware? I highly doubt it's as easy as a few clicks, drag and drop files, and poof. do I have to know programming/coding? it's very confusing.
if you could give me a name or point me to some tutorials or walk me through this potential fun thing, please lend a hand.

giving out drawings
Posted 2 years agoi want to see how i can do that. no, i'm not fulfilling requests or doing commissions. what i mean is literally giving away the drawings i've already made. i have a chunk of them i no longer want. wonder how i'll get rid of them.
i thought first of the fur con i'm going to, further confusion, in the middle of january. maybe ill get a binder, put my art in it, and have the binder say "ask me about free fetish art i'm giving away" and whoever comes up to me and asks can have whatever in it they want.
or maybe i can mail out drawings too. i'll just use a PO box so you don't know my real address. i would have no need for your address either. i don't give a damn who you are or were you live, the information is useless to me. and maybe you can receive a genuine letter of thanks from me for supporting me and my art. if you are actually interested in receiving whatever stuff i have in the mail, comment below or send me a note. i wonder if it does get popular enough, i'll actually open a po box and send my drawings out.
