Hey, I have a question for the tech furs among my watchers:

One of my HDs has kicked the bucket. According to a data recovery company it is a logical error and fixing it will cost *drumrolls* 1400 Euros.

That is... a lot of dough and I was wondering if someone knows a way (or can do it him-/herself) to save those files with a smaller price tag attached to it. This is practically a shout-out to those working in thos field or having connections obviously.

I want those files and I know data recovery is not cheap, but this is more money than I can muster currently :/

Maybe he had a bizarre mindset and was somewhat crazy but he designed one of the most iconic monsters of all times and was a prodigy in his field.

Finished my last exam today.

In total I wrote 5 and up to today all looked good :p

Exam #5 was a total bust. Studied the wrong parts and decided to just nix it. Am going to write it again in March and then I am hopefully better prepared.

Alas, the other 4 went great =)

Done with my exams. 4 out of 5. Decided to skip the 5th and take it in 2 1/2 months on the second try because I felt not properly prepared.

Got two grades already, things look pretty good in that regard.

Have my b-day coming up in 15 days, July 19. Another year older, nearing the big 3... that's life, literally, heh.

Have collected a few images which I still have to upload and a few outstanding comms, some older, still in the making. So I might lavish you guys with eye candy these days again.
