Hello, all! Hope you've all been doing good.

So for the past year or so, this page has been relatively dead, and I apologise for that, but now I think I can actually return to it! Things have been a tad hectic as of late, but now with it actually settling down, my creativeness is starting to return.

That leads me to this! Recently I've been experimenting with a newer writing style that I think sounds and looks better than my previous attempts, and with several ideas floating around my head, there is certainly room for expansion!

In the meantime, I need to get a few more things worked out, and then HOPEFULLY, I'll be able to return and actually do stuff again!


But, in any case, hope y'all are doing well, and I'll hopefully see ya around! Peace!

Like many of you, I am a tad worried about the outcome of this election. However, I will say that the worse thing we can do is assume the "what's" and the "ifs." This is definitely a time to stand as one and to help each other out. I, myself, am a Democrat and not afraid to admit it, but I firmly believe that people from all walks of life can beat this shadow of uncertainty and worry.

Hello, all. Perhaps someone can help me with this..

Earlier today, I was using my iPod for my general music use and whatnot and suddenly, the screen went black. The machine was still on, but I couldn't get the screen to work. I plugged it into charge and waited a moment, and eventually it came back on. I went to go use it again, and the screen went black. Now, after wht I think was turning it off and on again (screen was still black so I have no actual idea...), but it is not turning on. Any help or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: Did a full restore from recovery mode, and now waiting for it to restore backed up items.

I am in need of a little assistance...

A few days ago, I was playing Harry's Mod through Steam, and all worked fine up until it stopped working. So, at first, I figured GMod had simply crashed, but I tried Control-Alt-Delete, and that didn't work.

Suddenly, the monitor (which is a TV) goes black, and it says no signal. So, I took out the HDMI cable and out it back in, nothing. Our the cable in a different input, nothing. Then, I removed it from the computer and out it back in, it started up. However, it had a light red overlay on everything. From the "start windows normally?" Screen to the "starting windows" screen. Then, it just went away.

It worked over the weekend just fine until today, when I turned it back on. This time, it said nothing, just no signal. Tried removing the cable again, and nothing. Now, I have it unplugged because I'm not too sure how to continue. Anyone have any suggestions? ://

Damn, I've been sluggish lately.. Must be this damn heat. Haven't really done much of anything but play on the computer and take each day as it comes.. Haven't been particularly social, I apologize for that as well.

Well.. Ya ever get the feeling that where you are just isn't home? You live there for a long time, but you feel like you HAVE to like it? Guess that's what I've been feeling lately.. I always felt more at home back in Wisconsin. Snowy, cooler, more green than this place.. I dunno. Maybe I'm just tired.

I don't typically concern myself with the inner workings of FurAffinity, but this recent outburst over the porn ads is something I can no longer ignore. Where in the TOS does it say that porn ads are OK? No where does it say this. You people have shown us within the community that you care about nothing more than money. What of all the users that have turned on AdBlocker due to this? What of the hundreds of artists who have reserved ads on this website, and now they can no longer be viewed due to your intrusions? It is something that many of us, including myself, can no longer stand for.

IMVU as a company has had a reputation for unnecessary nonsense that many a time has been witnessed on this site. The side bar, the big business ads, and now this. Quite frankly, I'm sure NO ONE on this site is wanting to see an ad announcing some woman begging for sex at the top of the screen, and it continues to prove your insensitivity towards the users on this site.

Fix it, IMVU, or you won't have a site to run much longer.

OK, listen IMVU. Many users here on FurAffinity have been quite worried about yours buying the site from whoever owned it before. However, many have been also staying that chances should be given to you. Personally, I had felt, when IMVU first took a hold of FurAffinity, that we should indeed give you a chance. Now, however, I can say that you've taken the chances we've given you too far. What neither I nor the rest of the community can understand is why suddenly there are ads that cannot be removed off of the page. And I'm not talking about the ones that have always been here at the top of the screen. I'm speaking of the "new" ones that advertise Netflix or some other nonsense. Was it really necessary? Unless you're trying to turn this place into a corporate nightmare like many of us have seen you do, there is no place for such things! I ask you to please tread carefully with what you do around here. The users here are already suspicious enough if you as it is. So once again, tread lightly. If you do not, I feel you won't have a site left to run.
