Been on a lack of a creative streak of late, but its been mostly because I don't have too much motivation lately. Though, I haven't quite lost my S.I.S. just yet, have a few things written down if I ever get around to punching them out, which who knows when that will be.

In the meantime, I've become addicted to playing The Binding of Isaac as of late, which I can thank Admiral Bahroo for that one, as well as TearofGrace, which after watching their play through of it (multiple times with AB's), decided to grab the game for myself. Which brings me to the point of this journal - I stream the game on occasion, so far almost every day since I got into the game, so can catch it on my Twitch where I attempt to pound my head into the ground until I either grow tired or I pull a victory out of my ass, :P

More or less I purposely tried to give myself a heart attack using Salvador to unlock the OP levels, or at least trying to unlock OP8. Managed that this morning and almost bit the dust at the end, but was worth it, even though it was difficult as hell to do it. Even though Gaige is technically my top pick, after going through all that trouble with Sal, doubt I would have been able to do the same with her. So now I'll prolly be taking a break and try and focus on other things. Have a few things in mind I want to do in the next few days, so expect something sooner or later depending on how my day goes.

Kinda just been in a "meh" kinda mood as of late, so hence why I haven't done anything new for the past few weeks. Though, been plowing through Borderlands 2 as of late leveling a gunzerker for the fun of it.

Not really the end result I was aiming for, but eh, couldn't really find a suitable background for this one. Anywho, decided to do another wallpaper out of the blue, which I was kinda wanting to do one that was just a general Tails one rather than one based on a game/show. Didn't really end up that way as I had found an image I wanted to use, but problem being it wasn't fully transparent. So instead found this and rolled with it.

...ever again. Was disconnected for nearly three weeks, one of which was vacation time (back by the way, :P), which afterwards, spent the next week and a half trying to get them to restore everything. Would have been LAST Tuesday, though, I apparently missed the second tech guys (first actually diagnosed it but couldn't fix anything), so had to push to get them out here, which they supposedly did on Friday, but didn't happen either. Tried again on Saturday for a Sunday appointment, but availability was scarce. Supposedly were going to have them out yesterday, but same deal as Sunday, plus they didn't really schedule a time. SO, got one for today, which almost turned into a clusterfuck as we had a brownout that caused some outages around here, as well as having the tech leave without telling me anything. Had to call them again to find it out, but turns out, the guy showed up again and actually managed to fix it.

Anyway, new comic today as well that I finished last week, :P, will be post that here soonish.

Been at it for the past few days, slowly but surely, but I have all the animation frames ready to be put together in Flash. I'm however going to leave Calvin and company out of it since I don't see myself going back to that strip anytime soon.

I was thinking of doing multiple background songs for each of the frames, though, little more complex than it looks after looking at a few tutorials to make it work properly. I may eventually get to it, but for now I'll be adding a single song to this one. Should have it up by mid/late Sunday depending on how things go. Birthday and all, so plans may fluctuate a bit. We'll see~

Added the next five strips to the site, though seeing it here first kinda negates even going to my website at all, but eh, html practice!

Also, I mentioned there, that I'll be doing the cast image within a flash animation (which I probably should have thought about it before I did the image itself. but either way~) within the next week or so.

Alongside that, birthday is coming up, 33 and getting older by the minute, :P This old fart will continue on even if I fall asleep at the keyboard!

This flash I had in mind for my intermission deal has given me the most ridiculous, yet utterly evil idea ever...but will be as an alternative version of what I had in mind by request only if you want to see it, haha. Because I know you all will hate me if you can second guess what I have mind for it. Part of me dislikes it, but its an opportunity that just screams "DO IT".

...I should probably do Fwee's room with a bit more than an empty space. Looking back on it, I didn't want to put much detail into the house layout, though this time around, I am. Still going to be simplistic, though isn't going to look like a dungeon cell this time around.

Already in the process of sprucing up the next part of the house, well as adding a bit more to it to make it more realistic when it comes to having 6 living under one roof.

Well, today was my last day of my last class before finally finishing my Visual Communications degree at ITT. Presentation was pretty drawn out, mainly cause I was nervous and when that happens, I tend to lose my train of thought. Either way, got it over and done with, :P

Secondly, going to be super busy, or at least try to be, and try and give my site yet another redesign AND try and redo all my comics in my new format. I won't exactly be re-posting them on DA or FA, but I will instead replace the existing submissions with the updated strip instead. Each is going to be a 480 x however big height wise depending on the panel size to essentially take after the format of my Betrayal series.

As for reviving it, it really isn't going to be as easy to get the kind of traffic I once had when I was able to spread it around the Top 50/100 sites, as they pretty much no longer exist. So my best option for now is to just let you all know, as well as try to see if I can get the attention of anyone whose still around via AIM to boost this old horse of a comic that I still manage to punch out on occasion. It may be too far gone, though still willing to give it a shot even if it may not prove to be fruitful.

As new strips are concerned, once I finish re-working the older ones, going to try and punch out what I can with The Betrayal, which could be anywhere from the next 10 or 15 pages, which means I'm going to TRY to break my old norm of doing them on the fly, and just do a slew of scripts to plan a month or so worth of updates. It might not work out at first if I get sidetracked like I usual do, but we'll see, :P

...was making my page not display in IE, not the little script thing at the bottom. Realized I actually fixed it all already a while back and re-uploaded everything. Makes me want to /facedesk over and over again just because I didn't notice it to begin with. ANYWAY, everything is all peachy now, may actually try and redesign it again to see if I can't make a working border without the use of an image.

In conjunction with my logo design, I finally finished the website for it, or at least most of it. Still missing a few things I need to add later, but it's pretty much fully functional now. Kept the design pretty basic, as are most of my other sites, but better function over fashion, :P

In the next web class this quarter and we were given a choice to do a site layout of our choosing, so I decided I'd go ahead and make a site for my little 14 page series I made. Kind of a weird color scheme for it, but eh, better function over fashion really.

For anyone who dared to notice, the last submission of mine got deleted on grounds of two things:

- which the uploader does not have the legal rights to post
- which was neither made directly by nor directly for the uploader

Now the first one applies to almost EVERYTHING I've done since I first posted here. I don't own rights to the base Tails sprite, I only edit and modify them. So wouldn't by that fact alone mean that everything is a direct violation to the rules? Hell, what about that mock History Channel composite I did? That's just as bad seeing I used 4 pieces of official artwork in that image.

I'll admit the only thing I didn't make was the background to the actual cover, but that's really how a composite works. Perhaps if I had used a background and multiple images, it might have stayed. but it's whatever.

Though, I will say this, if they deleted it on the fact they thought it was an official cover, they obviously didn't do their research, as this - http://images.comiccollectorlive.co.....b791a6dbd8.jpg - is the real Twilight Princess cover.

Learning a bit of After Effects this quarter, and our second assignment is to do an intro to a horror film of our own making. I ended up asking him what our lmitations were and if I could do a sprite based animation, and he was fine with that. SO, expect a silly but somewhat semi gruesome version of Miles vs Zack.

In the mist of thinking about it, even though I've already got the initial idea laid out and pretty much ready for animating, just donned on me on adding a bit of a surprise ending to it. Just the thought of it is exciting. Going to be something you least expect, but then again might. Nothing like a little randomness to add a little more fun to things, :P

With coming up with a story that really flows, I often find myself avoiding doing so, minus the fact that I'm doing one based on A Link to the Past. I did actually want to re-attempt doing the start of Miles vs Zack, but now I have a sudden urge to do something else entirely. However, I did attempt to do it once before, with Cal and the Curse of the Chaos Emeralds. That unfortunately only lasted only 5 strips before I got burned out on it. Kinda makes me doubt I'll be able to pull it off, but then I've been able to make an effort to punch them out more regularly than I have in the past.

What comes to mind is something involving the original cast of Miles vs Zack minus the large number of extras whom I've chose to neglect just because most of them are just bland recolors. Granted my own character Zack IS a recolor himself, it is my comic after all, so my rules really. I'm sure if I had accepted EVERY last character request, I'd have a cast that I wouldn't even be able to work with.

Seeing how I've lost touch with the majority of them, it seems kinda silly that I would carry on, but I intend to carry on with the cast I originally assembled at the start: Fwee, Vixica, Geo, Yanami, and of course Miles and Zack. Don't really have much of an idea of where I want to go with it yet, but I've always worked well spontaneously, so if I start something, I'm sure it'll unfold as I do it.

I'll try and punch out something soonish, either tonight or tomorrow if I pass out in the middle of it.

With flash being introduced into my disposal of mediums to work with, I've already gone and started on doing a html/flash hybrid of my main site. Have the index flash file done, then it's onto the content sections. And yes, I know how it's being phased out for html 5, but I want to at least make use of what I've already learned with flash to go ahead and just do it. I'll be posting a preview of what I have so far soon.

Next on my agenda is going hardcore with my comic strip and focusing on my Legend of Daisy strip. Been long overdue for a full play-through of Link to the Past, so hopefully I can 100% it again, or close enough. Once I get that completed, assuming it doesn't take forever(which I'm sure it will, :P), from there I'm not totally sure what I'll do. Some part of me wants to discontinue Miles vs Zack, and move onto something else, either that, or I'll end up keeping at it, only doing something else along with it. I have two possible ideas running around in my head, both of which I've designed a logo for, first one derived from something Yanami threw at me, and another I thought of randomly during one of my classes.

Other than that, not much else going on...yet, :P We'll see what the next few weeks has in store.

Nearly done with my portfolio site, gonna be uploading it here once I'm finished. Also, I almost forgot I finished the little beach scene which I'll update at the same time. Once I finish that, going to apply a little flash-ness to my comic site. Guarantee though that it's going to be rather large considering how many I have to begin with, but also means it will negate the 100+ individual html pages. Will make finishing it a hell of a lot easier, and won't have to learn php, :P

As for school is concerned, my program I'm in is going to be changing around a bit, though, I'm not entirely sure where that will leave me next quarter. My program chair came into several of my classes saying that they will not be available for over a year, so not sure if it means I'll be merging into the new stuff, or if I'm going to keep with the current program. I've had to miss taking the 3D modeling class, so no idea if I'll get another shot at it or not, but we'll see.

Am somewhat confused though; if VC100 was supposedly the intro to Photoshop...why is 130 ALSO an introductory as well. Was something my teacher told me first day, which we've gone over similar things we did in VC100, but have covered some other things, which funny enough I've already have had experience with just by messing around with them in my early days of building my website. So I'm not entirely learning anything super new, so sorta seems like a waste of time, /shrug On the bright side, the teacher is pretty awesome, one of the few I've had who has a sense of humor that I can relate to, so makes up for the boring tasks, :P

So to sum things up, should have the flash stuff done today, so keep a look out for that. May also punch out another comic soon, but no promises on that. Need to go over the layout of the Desert Palace again to refresh my mind of which backgrounds I ended up ripping.

This is a bit of a change up for me, but ever since MLP: FiM has invaded the internet, as well as your TV screen, I've found a love for the show just because of the sole silliness of it all. Huge kudos goes out to Lauren Faust for going to the lengths to create such a show that is highly reminiscent of the old Looney Tunes days.

So anyway, my Typography teacher gives us an assignment to do a four page calendar for our second to last project of the quarter, and I ended up doing an AC/DC based one. Then a while later, I got an urge to actually do a full blown one based on FiM. Being how Derpy was the one who got me hooked onto the show, it was fitting that I do it surrounding her. So here for your viewing pleasure is a full 12 + 1 month calender featuring the beloved clumsy pony who I feel resembles the very aspect of my own personality. Long live the loopy-ness!

Hello Furaffinity~!

...okay, got that out of the way, onto bigger and better things...sorta.

Figured I'd finally go ahead and hop on here seeing I've technically been in the furry fandom for a while now, but more of a lurker than anything. I'm not what you would call a real "extreme" furry fan, but rather enjoy a wide range of characters that just happen to be anthropomorphic animals, namely Miles "Tails" Prower, whom I based my own fan character off of, with a little bit of Shadow the Hedgehog thrown in. So yeah, BIG Sonic fan, :P

As you can also tell, I'm into doing sprite comics, which are also Sonic based. At first, the ideas were kinda bland, no real thought into the scripts, bad sprite editing (or lack thereof), and saving the files as jpgs, thus ruining the quality of the image. These mistakes are now rectified and have already given a small taste of improvement. Those 5 are just the start, I'll be getting the other 120+ comics up here sooner or later~!
