So today at about 9ish AM I graduated from Gordon State College with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology! My final GPA ended up being a 3.37, which isn't the best but that's cause I was lazy especially in my early semesters. However, now I enter into the next stage of life, one that requires lots of self-boasting so I can create a strong resume and get a job. I have no idea what is in store for me next, but I'm still excited about what could be happening in the coming months!

Had a blast! Seriously, it was amazing. I met SO many people, got SO many hugs, and gave SO many high fives!

I have to thank all the old friends that I got to meet again as well as all the new friends that I made while I was there. Special credit goes to  djx for still being the greatest friend someone could ask for, as he was one of the first I met up with at FWA, and was the last one I saw before I left. I could never ask for a better friend than him.

It was nice to meet  Hillbillyguy again, it had been too long since the last time we got to hang out, so the entire meeting and partying was great fun and I’m glad we got to do it again.

Have to thank  Krazeen for hanging out with me as much as he did, was great rubbing his head as was as wandering around with him as he always seems to know where to go to find out what’s going on.

I also have to thank Brax, Kieran, and Shadowfox for giving me several hours of enjoyment, especially on Saturday when we hung out and wandered about the con space for a good amount of time. They were great handlers for me, in suit or out of suit!

Meeting  nbowa was a great experience, wish I had more chances to hang out with him seeing how fun he was to talk to while in suit. He’s a pretty awesome guy.

Thanks to my roommates Ashton and his boyfriend Trith for making me feel so welcome in the room even as I wandered in at the hours of 2-4 AM every night which could have probably woken them up as I was stumbling quite a bit most nights!

As far as suiting, I suited for a grand total of 18 hours over the course of FWA. Of course the geek that I am, I actually calculated a percentage of how often I was out in the con space while in suit, and it ended up being a grand total of 32% of the time I was wandering around, I was in suit! Which I consider a remarkable amount of time for a first time suiting.
I still need to get better about acting, as well as characterization of my fursuit seeing how I was a bit awkward running around in it. However, all things in due time. I gave at least 500 high fives prior, during, and after the fursuit parade, which is an absolute blast to participate in instead of merely watching from the sidelines!

Also thanks to anyone I happened to miss, I met so many great people at FWA and wouldn't trade it in for anything else! I absolutely adored all of you as I stumbled around partially blind while in fursuit. You guys made my convention rock and I love every one of ya! In a friendly kind of way...of course.

With the closing of this FWA, I look forward to see what happens next. Should everything work out and I do well, I shall be heading to Pittsburgh for AnthroCon!

So I decided to be weird and use things I never thought I would use. First, I decided to set up a twitter account. It can be found at https://twitter.com/tendajithelion . Still figuring out what to post/when to post so it is a somewhat dull profile that loves to favorite other people's tweets.

Second, I do have a Weasyl account, it can be found at https://www.weasyl.com/~tendajithelion I will post to all of my accounts, FA, SF, and Weasyl. So no need to worry about me excluding a certain site.

As far as life, I've lost 42 lbs (roughly 19 kg) since I started working out in March. I still have a ways to go, as I'm looking to lose at least another 36 lb (16 kg) before I reach my initial goal. So it makes me very excited to see that weight loss, as well as seeing my waist drop 6 inches since last March.


More excitement, I have a fursuit that will be finished very soon by  bycats4cats. I'm super excited, cause it'll be done in time for FWA, which will be it's big debut!

As another birthday comes along and I shift into the age of 23, it is also time to reflect back on my past year.

If I were to have to say, this year was probably one of the better ones in my history. It was a turning point in many ways, as well as an opening to try new things and different experiences.

One of the biggest changes of the year has been physically. This past year I lost a total of 45 pounds, which is a significant amount of weight. I’m not quite at my goal but it’s still a major accomplishment in any standard. I still have a long way to go, looking to lose at least additional 45 pounds to reach an early goal, and that will be completely doable with enough motivation.

New friends have been a major impact on my life this year. I started the year knowing very little people, but now I can say that I have some great friends who have been there for me quite often to help cheer me up when times are bad, or celebrate with me when things are good. I’m very grateful for every relationship I formed this year, as it helped me progress further as an individual and allowed me to learn far more about myself than I thought I could ever know.

With new friends also comes new experiences. There are many new things that I did this year that in previous years I thought I would never do. It was definitely a “Year of Firsts” for me, first time attending a convention, first time going to a party, first time drinking with friends, first time going to a pride parade, and even first time marching in said parade. So many new experiences that normally would have left me shaking in anxiety that I managed to overcome.

My confidence levels have skyrocketed, my ability to get out and do new things has improved vastly. I’m feeling better than I have in years past, excited about what the future holds. In fact, looking towards the future, I can barely hold my excitement. New friends, more new experiences, as well as old friends that I get to see again and experiences that I get to relive for a second time. 2013, you’ve been a great year for me, through the highs and the lows, so thank you for the great year. 2014, you better be nice or I’ll kick your ass, let’s see how age 23 goes for this feline.

Well I think I've come to the decision that I want to commission a fursuit. Anyone know of any makers that make really good felines? I know By Cats 4 Cats, but the price tag makes me sorta not to get it from there. I'm pretty much looking for good quality, while not being too expensive for me to handle. I also probably would fare better if I could do a payment system instead of all the costs up front. Any suggestions from anyone? I know there are quite a few makers out there and lots of variety in terms of pricing between them.

A week ago, a good friend of mine, James Shipley, was arrested for violating his probation. He had been kicked out from his home by his family for being homosexual. He ended up on the streets for a month before he was given residency at another place he could call home. Unfortunately, he was arrested shortly after for moving without permission from his probation officer, despite lacking the option of waiting on permission due to the terms of his leaving his previous home. He currently has been in jail since Sept 11, waiting for a court date that probably won’t be coming until November at the earliest.

I’m not normally one who would ask for donations to just about anything, because I feel that it can get to be on the border of begging for money, but this isn’t about me, and how I feel about donations. This is about getting my friend back home so he can continue to turn his life around. He made some stupid mistakes in the past, which is why he is on probation to begin with, but as of this year, he is now going to college, trying to improve his life for the better. If he does end up stuck in jail until November at the earliest, that’s a semester of education lost, as well as an opportunity that will be much more stricken because of that.

His roommate and I are trying to raise enough money to get him back home, and to pay off his fines. I know that there probably won’t be a lot of people who actually read this, but I do ask that if you do and cannot help assist, to please at least spread the word so we can get him back home again.

The goal for this is pretty steep at $6500 for fines and for a lawyer, but I hope that we could possibly reach that goal. Hey everyone who might be watching me, or might actually pay attention to random journals. I'm considering on getting a new commission soon, SO my question for you is, what do you like to see in a commission? Any particular genre, or idea?

I know that the adult stuff definitely gets you a lot of views/favs, but not exactly sure if I want to grab another adult one, teasing one, or 100% SFW picture.

What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
To have fun, and try to enjoy myself. This is a major step for myself, especially in a sense of stepping out of my comfort zone like I will be doing, so I really believe this will be a good weekend for me. I hope everyone else who goes has a great time as well!

As for life, it's going well, I've started to exercise 3 days a week for the past 2 months now, haven't lost any weight, but since I'm focusing on weight lifting, I understand that muscle and fat alterations will basically keep my weight constant as it has been. I have however lost an inch off of my waist, which is something that does make me a bit happier, even if I wish it would go faster.

I'm quickly approaching my final semester of college, I'll be taking 3 credit hours this summer and 18 in the fall. And that will mean that I end up graduating with a Bachelor's in Biology. Graduate school is my plans, but I'm unsure if I wish to do it as soon as I graduate or wait a bit and get a lab tech job for more experience to assist into getting into Graduate School. Doing well this semester, hopefully looking at 4 A's and 1 B at best it would seem (cursed Biochemistry :P)

I'm doing much better in terms of my depression, it seems to have lessened significantly. While my testosterone issue is still there, cause I'm just above the minimum line of receiving testosterone supplements from my medical provider (despite 286 ng/dL of testosterone is really incredibly low).
Otherwise I've been doing well enough, how have you all been?

Well today's that birthday, come to shine it's head yet again one my life. This time it is the uneventful age of 22. Don't think anything really exciting will occur today, cause after all I am a really boring person! Was planning on heading out to the aquarium just to spend a lot of time there, but that plan was trashed by family who thought it would be a better idea to take me out to go shopping instead.

I'm thinking about heading to that con this upcoming year. Although I must admit, the thought of it is very very very intimidating. Although I"m very curious to see if there is anyone I might know heading there to help me build up some more courage!

In other words, Today is my final final! Woo! After a long semester long, I'll be ending this year on a mostly good note! A in Organic Chemistry 2, B is most likely my grade in Physics, and Genetics I have no idea as of this point! Although next semester is going to also be a bear, even though it's only 15 credit hours.

Also thinking about a few new commissions. Although at this point I'm not to sure of what I'd want! Have a suggestion? Go ahead and present it, I most likely will consider it! Otherwise it's just me wishing I had a massive disposable income to spend all over the place.\

Apparently I don't have it, in terms of the school I'm going to. Have a 3.48 GPA for that school alone, but when you look at my full transcript, they count the classes that I failed and retook towards my cumulative GPA. So overall I have a 2.91 GPA....(In North Carolina if you retook a class it would override the old grade, but apparently that's not the case for Georgia) So now my financial aid is being threatened, and it looks like I won't have enough money to pay for my classes, nor will I have enough to even buy books this semester (whether it goes through or not).

Of course this would happen to me, because nothing can ever seem to go right for me. And seeing how I can't obtain a job to save my life, it looks like I won't have any extra funds as well either.

Woo, saving up for a new computer without having a job just makes you realize how much you really don't need. Also it shows how much those things are really worth on Ebay! :3

Yeah it's been 3 years since I got this Dell540s Slim Computer, and by this point, I think it's sorta at the end of it's sad life. Also it's really sad when you try to run any games on it, like Battlefield 3 (turns out that's a very heavy usage program!) But yeah, so that means I wagered several of my items, and found out that I should probably sell my adult toys amongst that list. The use to time owned ratio is very low and at this point I really don't see the point of owning them. So here's hoping that I sell those, and my other random nicknacks to finish getting myself up to that financial level of purchasing a new computer. :D

Also the anxiety of getting my newest commission is at an all time high again. The image will probably be finished within the next week if I'm really lucky. So the 2nd character introduction of my lion will be completed at that time!

College also starts on Tuesday, YAY for summer semester! 4 weeks of Biology 2 at an average of 4 hours per day! Luckily after I finish this class I'll be all caught up on those credits I had lost when transferring to this school. And I'll be on track to take Genetics this Fall.

Here I am 8 months living in a dorm room, and have yet to befriend a single person, so I must be destined to be a hermit for the rest of my life. Because apparently the only thing I'm good for on this campus is emailing people lecture notes and helping them with homework, because after that, I'm just ignored by everyone. Oh well, doesn't really surprise me that much, nor do I think it would matter if a physical person actually did acknowledge me for something other than homework.

In other news (basically the only thing I can talk about without getting utterly depressed), I've reached a dead end in terms of researching for a cure for cancer. Unfortunately I've gotten to the point where I can't continue unless I had access to cellular genomes, lab equipment, and chemicals. But from where I'm at, I determine that if a compound can be synthesized that can react to Nucleotide specific proteins, we could effectively have cured cancer on a case by case basis. I would add more, but I doubt many people would be that interested in it to be honest.

Turned 21 this past week, tried a tiny bit of alcohol before deciding it's probably best to avoid it. Hurts my stomach for some reason. But pretty boring birthday seeing as most people are too busy with the holiday's to pay attention. Anyways, happy holidays everyone.

I am currently working on a capstone project that will help me graduate, and my topic I chose was how the relationship between humans and animals have evolved since the dawn of man.

Hit the age of 20 on the 20th, yeah yeah yeah I know i'm delayed, but we only just celebrated my birthday today so I can be as late as I want to with this journal.

It's strange not being in the teen ages anymore, cause I feel like I'm expected to be much more now and really hope it doesn't take too much of a toll on my soul. Well enough blabbing from me, not like anyone will really read this journal. Next milestone is 30. Hopefully I'll see you guys then.

Oh man I love being depressed and having anxiety as well as shyness, it's wonderful to never feel like you are operating correctly and always being so self aware of every small flaw in your body.

Another thing I learned as well is that I have the testosterone level of a 75 year old at the age of 19. I'm surprised I can even get an erection anymore seeing how I end up having no sexual interest in anyone or anything, Meh this is the point where I just hate my life so much that I don't give a shit anymore....I'm just so sick and tired of nothing ever being right with me....
