Hey everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend and you are having a great start of the week :)

Just wanted to give a heads up on a slight delay in updates on comms.

Sadly on weekend I got some bad news regarding an old family member, there was an accident in their place and she fell down and had a hip fracture, exams have been done and the femur might be compromised as well, unfortunately this family member lives very far away in another city and also is very old, 91 years.

Been on a lot of calls with other family members that live there and also the ones that live here in my city. Unfortunately things are not looking good and we might have to travel there in the coming days.

Because of this I had to take a couple days of on the weekend and today too but I’m planing to make progress tomorrow Tuesday on some pieces that had to be done today.

Just wanted to give a little update here, took most of on the weekend off in order to manage some irl stuff and was planning to come back on Monday.

But guess what? Got sick as hell with a stomach ache, I don’t really know what I ate but something wanted to kill me lol, haven’t been able to sleep much but thankfully right now I’m starting to feel a bit better, still weak as hell, but better lol.

I decided to take some days off last week in order to take care of my dog, thankfully we have now everything in order and therapy is part of her everyday life for now. Still rough to see her like that but she is showing good mood and is regaining her strength little by little.

I’m ended my 20% sale since I could pay for almost the most important stuff needed, thank you all for your support.

Just wanted to give a final update on my dog’s health. (Full story here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10480411/ )

So, things definitely have been calmer for now, exercises and therapy is going to be a part of my dog’s life until she recovers the most. Thankfully she is regaining her playful character and being strong most of the times. We got her a baby stroller to take her out on walks until she can walk on her own.

That’s it for now, thankfully the future is bright for her, if everything goes smoothly we expect to have good recovery on her legs and have a happy ending in all this nightmare lol.

Hello there everyone! I hope you are having a nice start of the week :)

Just a little update on my dog’s health. ( full story here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10480411/ )

Since the last update nothing much has changed. Thankfully she is eating all her food and we are doing tons of massage exercises and movements of her legs in order to stimulate her muscles and nerves. Water therapy is still on pause because we are gonna need to buy a small swimming pool for dogs to have her walk there.
The MRI that the vet suggested to do it is still out of our possibilities but we have a diagnosis 90% confirmed.
Daisy suffered from fibrocartilaginous embolism, which basically is a stroke to the spinal cord, that is why she lost the sense of her legs, from what I have investigated, from a 1 to 5 degree of the gravity, I think she is in the middle, a 3, because she is able to stand by herself and hold her weight for brief moments, that gives us a lot of hope that she can recover all her movement, or at least 90% if she can receive all the needed therapy.

I’m hopeful that she can grow through this and recover her life, recovery is a possibility but still, we have a long way to go.

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going well so far.

Just a little update on my dog’s health, you can see previous entries on my journal list.

Well, there haven’t been much progress, everything is still the same regarding her legs, at least she is eating thankfully.
Still can’t walk or stand, and if she stand it is for briefs moments and can’t move.

We consulted with a neurologist vet for her case, he told us in order to know what happened she is gonna need a MRI , if we do that, we are gonna be able to know how much damage has been done, if it is treatable, if she is gonna need medicine and/or therapy, or in worst case scenario , if it has done permanent damage, in this case the vets told us that we should consider putting her to sleep, which it would be our last resort…

So, I’m still in need to gather funds for my dog, the MRI is gonna be expensive sadly, and the road ahead will be rough.

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going well.

Just a little update on my dog’s health. (Full story here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10480411/ )

Tomorrow ends the vet visits for now, the vet told us she is going to need more medicine and vitamins for at least a month, and also she will have to start water therapy. There is one center that does that type of therapy for dogs, but unfortunately it is a bit expensive and sadly I haven’t had much luck selling my ych’s, just one lol.

So for now we are going to have to buy one of those portable dog pools and start doing her therapy there.

The vet told us that he consulted a co-worker from another country, and told us that this type of therapy can last for almost a year, so we are gonna have a long road to go in order for my dog to recover the movement and strength of her legs.

Anyways, those are the news for now, remember that all my ych’s have a discount, I’m gonna make that to 20% off on everything , I’m really in a hurry to gather funds to cover for my dog’s treatment, so I appreciate all the support.

So, she is still is going through treatment that was supposed to end today but the vet suggested that we go for 2 more days.
Yesterday, Daisy was able to stand up and hold her weight for longer, still unable to walk or run, she stood her weight which is wonderful news and gives us hope.

We still need to cover for her treatment expenses and after that ends, she needs to go to water therapy in order to recover her strength and mobility of her legs, all that is costing us a ton of money that we sadly don’t have lol, but she will do her therapy by all means.
