My mom suggested I bring business cards to BLFC, I've been meaning to make some for awhile but
I don't have any!
So my question to whose of you who DO have some, where do you prefer to go for them?
I know of Vistaprint, how long did it take for them to arrive?
I'm cutting it short, BLFC is in 2 weeks, hoping to get them order by tomorrow or Friday the latest!!!

Hi friends!
Just an FYI, I have been closed for commissions for quite some time!
I am in the process of redoing all of my prices as well as a new website.
However, I will open time to time (until new prices are set and website is done), I will be opening for small commissions here and there by JOURNAL ONLY.
These will be small things like chibis, headshots, sketches, etc.
So if you really want art from me, keep a look out! (:

Usually I look for those with styles I like or have similar skill level to me.

Cosplay?

Do any of you guys like cosplay?
Do any of you DO cosplay?
Only reason why I ask, because I'm starting to seriously get into cosplay!
I'm not getting any younger either, and I regret not pushing myself to start sooner. ):
I have always had a huge passion for it for the past 7-8 years, but being overweight, near morbidly obese. it's easy to not want to bother to take yourself seriously about anything.
I know I don't talk much about my personal life here, but I had gastric sleeve surgery back in early January. Since then, I've lost 40lbs as of yesterday!
At my heaviest, I was at 221lbs, I'm down to 180lbs now.
So with that said, I'm loosing weight as the months go by.
I'm not near my goal weight, but I can start doing things I've always wanted, but couldn't do to my weight making it difficult for me (wearing lolita, cosplaying, getting a fullsuit of Lexi, etc).
Where do you guys buy your cosplays?
Please no ebay, Amazon, etc! I need reliable, well known places!
Normally, I'd make my own, but being full time student and working part time AND creating art, I don't exactly have a lot of time to create my own original pieces. :S
I'm looking for some reliable websites to buy my first cosplay from!
I would love to cosplay one of Super Sonico's cleaner/SFW outfits. (:

I spent a chunk load of perhaps 2 months paychecks worth on a fancy new camera! :')
It's my first DSLR and I'm so excited!
I mainly got it for school projects, as I had to keep renting a camera from college, only have it for two days, then return it.
And I had to wait a whole week to rent it out AGAIN.
Sometimes I was so busy with my retail job and other classwork, I didn't even have time to use the school camera for the short time I had rented it out...
So I figure buying a camera would solve this!
Also, I have always had an interest in photography.
I really love nature/landscape photography.
I'm really happy with my decision, even if it means I need to pick up a few more shifts from work ha ha! ^^;
WITH THIS, I plan on creating BETTER VIDEOS!

FA could make it possible to change usernames without having to make a new account/move accounts. ):
I'm so sick of going by ZebraWolf, I made this account when I was 16.
Like my fursona isn't even part zebra, she just had zebra stripes on her.
And people keep calling me ZebraWolf and I cringe. </3
I really hope FA makes a username change possible, like deviantart allows.
Hell, even if it's a option you'd have to pay for, I'd do it.

I'm way undercharging, they're prices from 3-4 years ago.

Hey friends!
Sorry I have been quiet.
The last month of 2015 and January so far have been an eventful one for me!
My boyfriend came for Christmas, then I was told my gastric sleeve surgery was A-Ok to move forward with and I got that done January 8th!
I'm in recovery right now, weight loss is going well, the pounds keep coming off. (:
So with that, I haven't been working. >: So no money, which I will need for gas and stuff BECAUSE....
college starts back up next Tuesday.
I will be reopening soon for commissions!
Every little bit helps, I don't charge much, but I'm changing that this year.
I keep saying that, but I really am upping my prices for real this time.
I under charge myself too much.
In the meantime, I'm finishing up what I owe before I reopen!

Yes I'm going to do the thing!
This year is almost over and I thought if I wanted to change my fursona,
now is the best time to work on it!
I started sketching a 3 view ref but it's turning out into a really detailed reference lol
It's good though because I haven't made a reference for myself since 2013. )x
So it's definately been awhile.
I can't wait to show you all!
I'm still keeping my current design, I may switch back and forth.

I'm always looking to learn more and improve my work, it's an never ending process.
I know it can be hard to hear, but there's difference between critique and insults lol.
I'm pretty okay with it, especially when I ask for critique.
It was really helpful to see what specifically you guys like and think I can work on.
I'm definitely going to take all of that to heart!

So I am really going to push myself to create more work despite college.
I shouldn't use it as a clutch.
I'm wondering, what do you all like about my art?

What do you think I can improve upon?
I'm constantly learning and trying new things!
I admit this year, I really slacked off.
Compared to my other art folders from past years, I barely done any work at all this year.
Really upsetting, and I feel I'm behind on the improvement part.
People my age or younger than me surpass my skill level and it's because I haven't practiced enough.
So please, any feedback I would love to hear! ^^

I'm just so hesitant...I have so much art over 7 years worth and a FURSUIT HEAD I just got a little over a year ago...
I invested so much into what Alexis is right now.
It's going to be hard to go with something new after so long. I'm attached to her design currently, but I also feel it's not me...like all white is so boring and as a fursuit, it gets dirty fast.
I eventually want to upgrade my partial to a full suit and a kigurumi...so I need to decide before then if I really want to do this...sure..I know I can edit all the art work I have except the traditional pieces (I also have to ask each artist if they're ok with my edits). It's just a hard decision for me...idk what to do.
I came up with a few designs that I like though, it's not official and I'm still conflicted.

TERMS OF SERVICE
Hello there and thank you for considering to commission me and taking the time to view this!

By commissioning me you are agreeing to have read and understood these terms.
I have the right to deny any commission at any time.
I have the right to change terms at any time.[/center]
What I LIKE to draw:
Females and feminine themes, canines
What I WILL draw:
Anthros, ferals, artistic nudity, pin up work, adult content (varies), MLP characters, lolita and other fashion
What I will NOT draw:
Males, masculine subjects/themes, copyrighted characters, references sheets, vore, humans, certain species (avians, scalies/reptilians) baby fur/kid fur, and most fetishes
Please ask me if you have any questions about what I will and will not draw! I do make exceptions from time to time and I am willing to try new and/or challenging subjects when I have the time to do so.
PAYMENT:
I accept payments in USD through PayPal ONLY.
-All payments can be sent to lexipupcakes[at]gmail.com
-Payment MUST be sent upfront (unless said otherwise).
-Commissions will not be finished until full payment is made.
COMMISSIONER RIGHTS:
You May:
-Upload all commission pieces to your accounts on other websites as long as my name or a link back to me are listed.
-Resize any images to use as an icon, etc.
-Print out any work for personal use.

You may NOT:
-Claim any of my work as your own.
-Sell my work or make profit from it.
-Repost WITHOUT crediting back to me in any form.
-Remove my watermarks or signature.
-Having yourself or another artist edit my work without my permission.
REFERENCES:
-When commissioning, I require you provide me an updated, correct reference that has at least 2 views for me to work with (front and back view at least).
- If commissioning an icon, bust, or badge, I ask that you provide a head shot reference for me to work off of.
-I will NOT work off text/worded descriptions.
CHANGES/REVISIONS:
- Work in progress sketches (WIPS) are for you the commissioner to make any changes before I continue to finish your commission. Please feel free to tell me if anything needs to be fixed.
- I do not always provide a WIPS with every commission, however if you'd like to see one before your commission is completed, please don't hesitate to ask! I am more than happy to provide you with one.
- After you approve the WIPS/or after a payment is received, I will finish your commission.
- Things such a pose, expression, markings, or any major will be charged an extra fee (unless it is something I have missed) if not corrected upon the WIPS. Charge fee will depend on work that is needed to be added or changed.
- Never hesitate to message me about changes! I want all my commissioners to be 100% happy and satisfied with their artwork!
REFUNDS:
-Refunds will be given back 100% if I have not started any work.
-If any work is started, you will receive a partial refund up to what I have completed.
OTHER:
- When giving details about what you would like, please state whether characters are plantigrade or digitigrade as some references do not specify.
- Also provide info if you are alright with artistic nude (as most of my work is consisted of artistic nudity), if not provide information of what you’d like characters to be wearing.
- If you have a deadline for any work, please tell me asap, not the night before.
