recently I have been having trouble keeping track of reference material that commissioners send me. Having to dig through all of my notes to get to a single note that has the reference material and a description of what somebody wants me to draw for them is starting to give me a real headache. I don't want to be one of those artists who ignores casual notes that people send him, I like talking to people and I like engaging my fans. But having to scroll through four or five pages of notes just to find the person I'm looking for and then having to scroll through 5 to 20 different notes from said person to come back to the one that has the information I need is a real pain in the balls.

does anyone have a suggestion for keeping track of this information? What do other artist do? I am thinking I should probably just make a Word document with all the given information that I can update at my leisure.

the turnaround time on my art is about a month and I constantly have people messaging me in that time. Wanting to make changes to what they want. I don't mind this at all it is perfectly acceptable so please don't take this the wrong way, its just difficult to keep track of everything and I want to make sure I make everyone as happy as I possibly can with their finished product.

its labor day and I have my mate at home with me today. I love him to death but when he is home I dont take my A.D.D medication and it makes art pretty much impossible. going to take the day off and just make up for it double time the rest of the week.

so Like I mentioned before I am going to be attempting to post a new YCH every weekend. this week has been...rough, to say the least. Ive been super sleep deprived so I haven't made as much progress on my work as I would have liked. so this one is going to be rather simple, theme is going to be a stripper stage with 4 character's, all of which are gender ambiguous. ( male female and herms can take any slot)

always told myself that Id love to do one of these but I didnt have enough watcher's to be successful with it. I feel I am in a point now where I might be able to get one off the ground. worst comes to worst it should be fun to try it.

greetings everyone! lemme first start this off with a huge thank you for all the support you guys and gals have given me! the kind words, helpful critiques, links to valuable tutorials, and of course your business truly means the world to me and has helped me tremendously with following my dreams and doing what I love for a living :)

now, I just wanted to let everyone know that as I develop as an artist ( studying new techniques and advancing the over all quality of my art ) my art process has gotten a bit slower than it used to be, this is due to the fact that I put way way WAY more work into every piece I do now adays and want everything I post to be my best drawing yet! currently I get between 2-4 commissions done per week ( I do not work on weekends due to real life catching up) so this should give you a list of how long it will take me to get to your commissions.

tho a few things about my process I need everyone to understand when you trust me to bring your character's to life.

1. due to the life I live ( waking up with my mate at 6:00 a.m. every day to drive him to work, coupled with having a bit of insomnia troubles) on occasion I do't get enough rest to put my best foot forward on the more complex commissions I get. when this happens, in order to keep working I will occasionally bump people up my list who commission freestyle solo pics. I do this simply because quite frankly they are much easier to produce and I can bang one or 2 of them out in a day without having to slam my head against the wall to get the anatomy perfect. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some of you with delays and I take full responsibility for this. to me the alternative is I don't do any work at all on days like this If I simply cant focus enough to create a piece I am proud of.

2.my queue has gotten longer than I ever anticipated. this is not a problem since I do art daily for a living so my line is constantly updating tho I do want people to be aware that if you see more than 10 people in my queue, it may be a few weeks or even months before I get to your commission. if this is ok with you and you dont mind the wait by all means send me a note, I just wanted you to be aware of this before commissioning me ^.^;

there are a few other things but they aren't to important so I'll leave them out for now. just wanted to update everyone :) agin, thank you so so much for your business!

when it comes to naught art ( and even pics of real people) it seems that every image on the internet crops out every person in the image except for the sub. images where the entire focus is put on one individual, and the genitals of everyone else involved.

these images are rather easy to make when it comes to positioning since the artist doesn't need to forcibly shove the entire body of the other person into the image. Id like to try my hand at a few images like this.

the basically will be like the solo images you see in my gallery with the exception that there will be more than one person involved. only example I have of such an image in my gallery is this one.

I'll be taking a couple of these at the price of $40 + 20 for each additional person involved. ( I can make the random legs and or torso resemble any character of your choosing, but there face wont be in the image)

So in the process of trying to re install windows I may or may not have had all my information stolen... ill spare you all the details but I made a dumb mistake with a website that claimed to be Microsoft support staff. Dont worry I have taken all the needed steps... ie changing all my passwords. Wiping my computer and canceling my credit cards. Needless to say this is a hug3 pain in the ass and I apologize for any delays this causes with my commissions. I promise to have at least 2 fully colored pieces up by friday night even if I have to borrow a friends desktop to create them.

unfortunately I will be taking a break from taking anymore clean commissions with the exception of pin ups and things that could be considered "fapable" as much as I like doing them they tend to not get any views/favorites and in order to keep my prices relatively lower then most artists who produce similar content I have to get my name out there. underwear pics and things that can still be tagged as safe but with sexy undertones can still be done, but untill I have a steady income of commissions and my art process speeds up a bit I'll only be taking smutty commissions ( present commissioners excluded of course)

so I have been spending a lot of time doing anatomy sketches and researching how to create better art. I have taken the jump to going all digital with no pencil sketch to start off with. that being said I have been a bit slower in my uploading process and for that I apologize. fear not, I have taken this time to hone my techniques in order to give you guys better art. some of you may have noticed that in this time I let my add come down off of FA so that I wouldn't get swamped with work and I could do right by those of you whom I have promised artwork.

back everyone sorry I haven't been posting as much as I normally do, Had a con to go to and took some time to study new techniques.

as you all know I am still new to this whole arts thing so I will occasionally take a week to study anatomy, new styles, and new ways of enhancing the over all quality of my work. this process takes awhile and unfortunately I have to find a middle ground between time and quality with my commissions. I already am doing commissions at a loss for how much time I put into each of them and would like to be able to give my customers something I am proud of and I know I worked my spotty buns off on.

freestyle commissions mean the commissioner gives me artistic freedom with their characters. I find when I get to draw what I am in the mood to draw the finished piece always comes out better.

seeing how my sketches only serve as a place holder for my ink work now, and I am not comfortable with passing them off to my customers I am going to close sketch only commissions untill further notice.

my sketches are not up to par with my ink/ full color work. they simple exist as a guide line for me when I convert to digital for inking and coloring.

I would never sell art that I myself am not proud of and untill I am comfortable enough for my digital abilitys to go full digital and do sketchs with my tablet I will only be offering inked flat, and full color works.

I am offering 10% off free style commissions to fill in my remaining three slots. my freeform commissions give me, the artist full artistic creativity over the image, tho you are allowed to pick a few keywords to help me formulate an image in my head before I put it down on paper. for example "Doggystyle" "kissing" "stockings" would all be examples of acceptable keywords. these commissions are for adult/mature, full color images only.

I find when I have a bit more freedom with commissions they tend to have a much higher quality to them and are much more fun for me to draw.

there is no limit to the amount of characters and tho there are 3 slots open I would be willing to have one slot have multiple images if you wish to pay for more then one of these. in that case I may be inclined to give you a bigger discount!

I need to fill out a few more slots in my queue so I am offering 15% off freestyle commissions.

what do I mean by freestyle? well its simple

1. you give me all the ref material you have of the character(s) involved in your commission and you give me up to 3 keywords to follow. said keywords could be something like "naughty chastity, pink" or "adorable romance, clean" or even "pirate, ninja, robot" whatever you want, but no more descriptive then that.

2. I will take the ref material, and keywords and produce a piece for you that incorporates everything I am presented with.

I find these to be a ton of fun, so Id like to take out 2 or 3 of these. send me a note if your interested

as I delve deeper and deeper into digital art my process begins to eliminate much of the traditional methods of producing an image. I now do 100% of my inking/ coloring digitally and my traditional sketch quality seems to be going down, I dont dedicate enough time to the base sketch of etch commission for them to stand on there own. the sketches I do only exist to give me a guide line of where to ink, but soon I'll be able to do those sketches digitally, untill then I am considering eliminating the tier of sketches since I am not satisfied enough with their quality to sell them. IDK food for thought.

just an update to keep everyone posted :) I am still on schedule to get everyone's art finished on time, however I just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently learning some new techniques to improve my over all quality of art. I have been practicing cel shading and instead of just relying on the burn tool, I am individually shading an entire piece by hand with a tablet. this is causeing me to put far more time into every piece I do.

this does a couple of things

1. this will drastically improve the quality of every piece of art I do so thats a plus for you guys for sure :3

2, this is helping me grow as an artists which is the whole point of taking commissions in the first place

3, I am putting twice as much time into every one's art. this means your piece will look a lot better and I will spend more time making it perfect for you, however, it also means it will take me longer to post a piece.

is your character not a hermaphrodite? No problem! I can take a male or female character and give them the corresponding parts to make them into a herm.

one exception to this, these herm characters will not have a vagina, Im wanting to draw herms with tits and male genitals.

ok after a week of experimenting with different styles and self teaching I am going back to crunch time. I hope to get at least 4 or more commissions completed by Friday and now that I am more comfortable with shading my price on full colored pictures has been lowered to $30 base price.

when I create a new linework layer my "press" settings in advanced settings is locked, I can not change the quality, it is stuck on 1 ( fastest) and I can not select press or blend, the only thing I can edit is hardness and softness, I can not do line work like this and no one on the entire friggen internet knows what the hell im talking about apparently >.< this is causing one hell of a headache and setting me behind on my commission log.

notes, none of my these settings are disabled and locked in any other layer type, just in linework layers.

any solutions you guys can find would be absolutely life saving!
