Zahzu and I are in need of crash space. Or at least I am in need of crash space. I think she needs it too, but she might still have space with a friend. Posted 11 years agoSo it looks like I will most likely be going to Furry Weekend Atlanta. I might be getting a ride with a few people and hanging out with Zahzu or doing whatever :3
Anyways, if I were to go, I would possibly need help with a place to stay. I would be able to help with whatever needed, whether it be hotel costs or whatever.

I don't want an argument or someone who thinks all of his opinions or ideas for how you should live are absolute, I just want a friend who can appreciate me and everyone else for who we are.
tigersammich : I feel as if I've ignored you at the past few cons. Considering you were one of my first furry friends that I made at my first con, you are more important to me than that. I suppose I've probably been too wrapped up in chasing other people to really remember who my friends are. I'm really sorry about it, and I really want us to remain friends and to hang out at all those cons again.

How many of you out there have seen this documentary? I just spent the last two nights watching this and the sequel to it, Zeitgeist: Addendum, and wow is all I can say about them both. For such a low budget, it was very well done. I just wanted to know if anybody else had seen it because I'm kinda wanting to discuss it a little and also I'm wanting to know if anybody has really looked into everything in it? I'm planning to look into some of the bigger points the movie makes so then I can maybe verify some of it myself.

Buying/Selling DMG Gameboys
Posted 12 years agoSo, I've decided to start modding old original gameboys and then resell them for a little money. So far, I know I can do a backlight mod, prosound mod, and clean/paint job, plus probably some general tuning up of the gameboy. I'm hoping I can make this a thing since I love old retro stuff and I have already worked on old mechanical typewriters and sold them.

Anyways, same story, I can pay for gas, do art, do music, make food, keep you company while driving, I can even drive a leg or whatever if need be. Just anything if it can get me there to see my girl.

HOWEVER, THIS AWESOME GURL HAS A RIDE ( Zahzu ), but she LACKS the moolah! :O
She is offering some AWESOME GOOGLI-EYE commissions, though, to pay for her trip! They are amazingly cool and adorable and only $25! Plus, if you are going to anthrocon and she is able to go, she can deliver them to you FOR FREE at the con!! Sounds cool, huh?
For example badges, she's posted a few on her FA, just send her a note DEMANDING for an awesome badge! Then send her money :3
I would LOVE to go to Anthrocon to get to see this awesome lemur again, but I suppose it's not in the cards :/ but she /DESERVES/ to go! All she does is give and give and show the world an amazingly optimistic and hopeful spirit and she RARELY asks for anything unless she feels it's important and she can pay it back! She's been cooped up alone in Texas for a month and should be able to go have an amazingly unforgettable time in PA at AC!

Posted 12 years agoWelp, yesterday, was my birthday. Another one down! I spent the majority of my day in Moore driving around with an Icee from 7-11, cause I haven't had one for forever. I got some records at the record store and a turntable at the pawn shop. Man, those records sound so amazing. Then my family took me to Bricktown to eat at In The Raw, where we had an amazing albeit expensive sushi dinner. Man, loved the Nirvana roll and the green muscle sushi. Also the salt water eel was delish. Then I got home and had some ice cream cake for the first time ever. That was an experience. And last but not least I talked to my amazing mate on skype before I went to bed. Yup, pretty damn good day.
Myyyyyy Weekend in Dallas :I
Posted 12 years agoThis weekend was A-Kon 2013 in Dallas, TX. I went along with my mate, Zahzu, where we both volunteered and got in for free. THe con was at the Hilton Anatole, a three building hotel that is absolutely HUGE. And it still got filled up with over 25,000 people o.o Zahz and I ended up getting there later in the afternoon on Friday due to waking up late and Dallas traffic. It was really hot all day and my truck has no AC -_- but anyways, I got the badge of one of the 13 volunteers that didn't show up to work the con. I got to be Jeremy. It was rather funny. Everyone that knew me made fun of me by calling me Jeremy. Saturday, I worked information desk all day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. thereabouts, with about an hour break at noon. I worked for a few hours by myself, which was how I ended up working that long. But it wasn't terrible. It was just highly stressful x.x Then I fell asleep in my girlfriend's crash space and got griped at by the other girls that stayed in the crash space cause they were trying to get in and I guess I just didn't hear them or anything. Those of you that know how I am about sleep might be able to understand how this would happen :/ Zahz also lost her wallet that night, but thankfully we found it the next day. Due to circumstances, it was determined that the only way her wallet could've disappeared like that was if somebody took it from her during the cosplay show. Thankfully nothing was taken from her wallet, though things had been moved. By Sunday, I was sick, I was tired, I was irritated. I just wanted to go home. I told Zahz to pack up so we could try to leave by noon. After we talked some, however, we came up with a plan for me to stay with her at her grandparents house for the night so that I could spend the whole day yesterday with her and most of today with her. We went out to eat at IHOP because she loves it. The waitress was awesome and the whole staff was suuuuper friendly. Then we went to her grandparents and I got to meet them and talk with them for a while. They are definitely very cool and I was very glad to meet them. Later we went and saw Now You See Me at the Texas Movie Bistro, where we had a dinner of nachos and a sunday dessert while we watched. Then we called it a night and went to bed. Of course, we were in different rooms at her grandparents, but we did get up early and cuddle for a little bit before getting up, since we had to sleep in different rooms the whole weekend because of me not being aloud to stay in the crash room due to my age. It was nice getting to cuddle my favorite lemur again -3- Then today, we got up later in the morning, ate IHOP leftovers, and went to the Grapevine mall and shopped for a while and ate dinner. We went to Cabella's afterwards to meet up with her grandpa so that he could take her home and I could just hit I-35 straight from Cabella's. It was a sad parting for me, but I was still happy that I was able to stay one more day in Texas and spend it with my mate. Despite all the stress and lack of eating or sleeping at the con and how crazy it was and how upset I got over it all, just getting to spend some quality time with her afterwards really saved my weekend. I don't know how I would be feeling right now had I not stayed that extra day :3
Overall, an okay weekend, but still worth it all :3

Posted 12 years agoLast weekend, Wild Nights, suuuuperbly amazing, as I figured it would be, especially since Zahzu by some miracle was able to come down to OKC and get a ride to it with me. She most definitely made my whole weekend :3
Aaaaand she is continually making my days brighter even after. As of May 1, she and I are mated >3< Distance may appear an issue, but that has never stopped others from this venture. I only hope for her to be happy all the times.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to see her again until probably the end of the month if she is able to kidnap me for A-kon in Dallas so then I can see her and Dulcinea again and we can all hang out like true lesbo bros :3 I would've been able to see her at CPFM, HOWEVER my band trip happens to be on the same weekend :/ So for all those going to CPFM, I wish the bestest of weekends, and give the little lemur GoH a big hug!

Posted 12 years agoFuck it, I'm tired of being indecisive. I think I'm going to try for music production at Berklee in Boston. At the very least if I can't make it at that I can go for my back up plan of joining the Air Force.
