Ride Shares to Oklacon?
Posted 13 years agoThose of you who know me know I drive a pretty big truck with lots of room for people and possessions and I am a very easy going and understanding person. Or at least I hope I am :/ Anyways, if there is anybody in the Moore/Newcastle/Mustang/Norman area that needs a ride to Oklacon, let me know. I'm more than happy to provide rides for people who want to go.
My schedule is:
Wednesday the 17th: 0800-1100: take PSAT; 1100-1130: pack things up in my truck; 1200: head out to Oklacon/pick people up and head out
Sunday the 21st: 1800-1900: head home from Oklacon
I can not stay till Monday because of parentals and school, and I can not go early on Wednesday because of a test I got picked to take.
I will also be taking my mountain bike and possibly my saxophone or guitar, so if you have lots of stuff to bring, I may or may not be able to bring ya along.

Thank You(Part 1) [For All My Friends]
Posted 13 years agoBeen feeling rough for the past month or two, and it's been making me think of a lot of the people I've met and become friends with, especially here over the past year. So, so many people have met me, and I am unaccountably thankful for those who have shown a friendly paw in return.
If you don't want to read my full list, just f3 your FA name or furry name and you should find yours (if you're a close friend or someone whom I've talk with before).
Antichronos : You're possibly my best friend ever, and especially now you've been an exceedingly great friend. I've got a lot to say, but it would definitely take a lot of space to account for how good of a person I think you are. So, I'll just go ahead and leave it as is.
ArcticPK : I don't know you too well, as I only met you over a weekend, but it was a great weekend, and you were definitely a contribution to that great weekend. I'm still super happy that you gave me those ear rings :3 No, I've yet to get my ears pierced yet, but, maybe soon that'll finally be done.
Askari : Possibly the tallest and most fun blonde I've ever met! I absolutely LOVED getting to meet you and Oki at CPFM and Wild Nights. I'm sure you might barely even remember me, which is fine, but know that I won't forget you any time soon. Also, you have no idea how happy it made me that you thought I looked like a girl. Really filled my heart up <3
Blayze_Emberscales : Another of my great friends that I miss a whole lot! I wish I could thank you more for those rides to the furbowls and the ride to Oklacon. Imagine the luck of finding out right we were both furs right before Oklacon last year, right? Still super glad I got to experience it with both you and Lignus, Can't wait for this year at Oklacon. Hopefully we'll still get to see more of each other through the next year.
BluefyreA.Wolf : Don't really know you all too well, but I do remember doodling for you at Wild Nights! Thank you for not thinking my art sucks horribly.
bucltowntiger : I don't think I could describe my first fur con experience without including your AMAZING show AND you signing the CD I bought from you :3 Thank you for reading my poetry and allowing me to sit in on your panel. Definitely one of the most memorable things about Oklacon for me.
CaptainRibs : The coolest and awesomest Welsh guy I know! Well, the only one I know, I suppose :P Thanks for giving me the opportunity to get to know you at Oklacon, and for trading that tea for hot chocolate. I've still yet to drink any of that tea, but I plan on taking it to Oklacon this year, so maybe you and I can chat over a couple cups.
DaGlowPuppy : Hmm, lets see, I dunno if I remember you or not. Were the one with all the glowing appendages? :P Hehe, of course I remember you! How could one forget a crazy raver fur and his mate? You two were definitely the greatest friends I made at Wild Nights! Thanks for the fun times and the awesome memories! I hope to get to see both of you real soon!
DaxterDot : Everybody run! It's Dr. Horrible!! AAaaagghh! Hehe, You may not be a doctor, but you sure are horrible :P horribly amazing! You're definitely one the best fur friends I've made here in Oklahoma since I decided to join the community. Many, many thanks are due for many, many things. Thank you for not shoving me off like a little kid at Furry Fiesta or Wild Nights. I know I'm younger and I am probably not your first choice of people to hang out with at a fur con, but I'm still very thankful that you hung out with me when I got lost at FF and when I was alone at Wild Nights. Also, can't forget letting me ride along to CPFM! Greatest weekend of my whole summer! Can't thank you enough for that :3 Well, I'm sure I could, but it might get very annoying after a while. I hope that one day whenever I'm older we'll be able to hang out more and become better friends.
Doberman_Guard : A crazy muthafuckah I wish I would've avoided! Geez, can't tell you how many times I've run into trouble with this foo! I mean, first there's all the meet ups, then the cons, then the picnics. I just can't get away from you, can I? Well, despite being crazy and "the perfect example of the average American homosexual", you're still another example of one of the best fur friends I've made here in Oklahoma since joining the community. I love seeing you and your mate at the meet-ups and little fun stuff around OKC. Even my friend said you were the most memorable part of the furbowls he attended. You were definitely a hoot at CPFM, being a big contributor to the best weekend of my summer. Again, I'm horribly, horribly sorry for what happened to your badge D: I can't tell you how bad I still feel about it. I know my art skills are about as good as the writing skills of a gorilla with a typewriter, but I still offer them to you as consolidation for what happened. With that aside, thank you, again, for being a good friend, and not just shoving the jailbait kid aside like he was nothing. I know I'm not a big part of the community and not a very important person, but I'm glad to have been touched by your hearty humor and laughter (and right jabs X3).
Drazil : I don't know you all too well, but I do enjoy talking to you and seeing you at the meet-ups and little events around the area. You're definitely an interesting person and it's always amusing to watch you tinker with something (or break it, whatever your goal is). Thank you for being someone whom I can call a friend.
dreamingwyld : THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR MY FIRST EVAR CON BADGE :3 I love my first Zeek badge and will always commission you at any con I'm at that you are also attending. I love your artwork and can't wait to commission you again soon!. Again, thank you for my first Zeek badge, and for my Omaui badge :3
Eckon : "This is all your fault!" Thought I'd start with probably the funniest memory I have of ya. I really wish I'd get to see you more often, as mustelids tend to be rare, but I'm always happy for the few times I do get to hang out with you. You made my first furbowl experience memorable and fun, that's for sure :3 Thank you for letting me be your friend and being a fun mustelid!
Gale.Rysoro : Thank you for being a good friend and taking me shopping and helping me out when I'm down. You're definitely another example of one of my best fur friends in OK. I really hope things start looking up for you soon.
HazelHeart : Gurl! You so crazy :P One of my Oklacon buds! Definitely can't wait for the whole cabin to be filled with the members of the "Supergayrainbowfurryattacksquadronawesomenessfive" fort! I'm practically counting the hours till I'll be around the first fur con friends I ever made! Thank you for being a great friend! I love talking with you and I'm gonna love getting to hang out with you again here in October!
hunter0167 : You know who else should be thanking you? MY MOM! OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!! Super awesome guy, you are! Wish I knew you a little better, but was glad to hang out with you at CPFM nonetheless. Thanks for the fun times, the loud "OOOHHS", and the hilarity.
ifritx : Don't know you all too well, but I'm glad I got to meet you and the crazy purple mass that is your boyfriend at FF. I hope things are going good for the two of you and I love YFIAS! Thank you for hanging out and for all the good times that were had at FF.
jaredfox16 : Greatest fur meet host EVAR! Definitely a cool kid you are, bro! I am super glad that I've been able to attend the furbowls for the past few months and been able to meet you and your mate. Both of you are amazing and awesome. Brohoof to the both of you! Thank you for letting me be a friend :3
JugularJaguar : I know you as an amazing MC and a humorous cougar at all the meet-ups and cons. I hope maybe one day to be apart of the variety show, but for know I don't think I have the heart. Thank you for all the laughs and good times.
If you don't want to read my full list, just f3 your FA name or furry name and you should find yours (if you're a close friend or someone whom I've talk with before).

Posted 13 years agoFucking Marching Band!
Posted 13 years agoSo, school starts back up in two weeks. That being the case, marching band started yesterday.
From 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. for the past few days, we've been on the field, out in this heat. FUCKIN SUCKS! Serious major dick.
My shoulders and the back of my legs are pretty burnt. Also I've successfully pissed six times within two hours from drinking two and half gallons of water today. My bladder, man. Not to mention the back of my calves are crazy sore now from roll stepping and backwards marching. I'm normally a pretty good runner, but shit, marching sucks dick on the calves.
On the bright side, our music is good. Wanted: Dead or Alive, Welcome to the Jungle, and Kashmir. I love how our band director is a huge classic rock guy.

Got a Mountain Bike!!!!
Posted 13 years agoYesterday, I got a Trek VRX 200 year 2000. Got from a guy off of Craigslist from El Reno. Suuuuuper stoked!!! Full suspension, Rock Shox fork, Raceface crankset, Rolf Satelite wheelsets, and all Shimano gearings. A $1200 dollar bike brand new (plus $300 for front fork, $100 for wheelsets, probably $80 for crankset), and I got it at a steal of $350. Suuuuper happy -3-
My two days off this week are gonna be spent at Hefner and Thunderbird on the bike trails. Anybody else got a bike and wanna do some trails with me on Thursday or Friday?

Posted 13 years agoOkay, so my friend
AntiChronos, who has been to two furbowls, has no other furs from OK watching him. If you read this and you remember That Guy (otherwise known as T.G.), go ahead and give him a watch. He'll watch ya right back :3

Furries in Hit and Run Incident

For my fellow fur friends who haven't heard about this tragedy, please take the time to read through these news reports. Two fellow furries and their four dogs were hit in a hit and run incident in California. The bastard was caught and is remorseless, and the couple are both still alive, though one is in intensive care and has lost a leg already. All four of their dogs died on impact. The guy of the couple saved his girlfriend by pushing her out of the way in time. This guy is a hero. Truly and utterly a hero.

Obviously, Confussion and Growing Up to Do
Posted 13 years agoI tend to consider the furry community here in OKC to be one of my greatest sources of strength when I'm feeling at a loss for it. Hell, the furry community in general, really. It's helped me learn and experience sooo many new things over the past year, and everything I've done and those whom I've done them with I could never be more thankful.
But, that being said, there are still things that even those of you closest to me don't know much about. Almost everyone in the OKC furry community knows I enjoy cross dressing, but am horribly shy and embarrassed about it and tend to not like going out into public in my abundance of girls' clothing. And I realize that I've also posted a journal before stating my thoughts about me being transgendered or not. Some of you know that I enjoy fighting sports and running and mountain biking and getting hurt. Very few of you probably know about my desire to be an army field medic. Still few of you probably know about my fascination with wilderness survival and the human body under dangerous conditions (falling off cliffs while rock climbing, dehydration, exposure, fungal diseases, laceration caused gangrene).
Basically, everything after this point will make more sense if you read this: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3660182/
Read
Salkitten 's journal earlier today and have been thinking about it all day. Not the first time I've ever thought about it, sure, but this kind of layered out some things for me and made me really think.
I usually tend to think of myself as a tomboy in a boy's body: really tough and masculine acting but still with a flair of femininity, but in a body that makes me feel horrible every day. I'm guessing that's the dysphoria Sal talked about. Of course, I'm not completely uncomfortable with my body all the time. The exception for me being when I am fighting or wrestling or just doing something that having a lot of muscle generally comes in handy. Any other times, though, I'm just feeling... bad. I feel too big, too muscled, too pudgy in all the wrong places. My voice sounds off and my hair feels wrong. Hell, even my chest just doesn't seem right at times.
Of course, I know this could very well be growing up. I've always been late at developing into things. I'm only just now growing facial hair when everybody I know has been shaving for years. The one thing I've always had further along than everybody else is my mind. I've always been able to understand things and grasp concepts and evaluate things easily. It also has made me very introspective, which is why I question myself every waking moment about some of the things I do and think about.
So, yeah, I've asked myself what would life be like if I was a girl. I've asked myself that question a lot. I've wondered if it would make me happier, improve my self esteem, improve my anger, make me feel natural. And the simple answer has always been: I don't know.
The not-so-simple answer usually changes all the time: Would I still train for MMA? Would I still want to be an electronic music producer? Would I still play my saxophone and shoot for higher music possibilities? Would I be able to keep up my normal pace at work? Would I still want to be in the military?
If you remember
Salkitten 's journal, he used a little scale resembling:
Girl---Androgynous---Boy
I first thought maybe I'm jsut more Androgynous. I definitely fit into both areas of girl and boy. But, then again, I also fit mostly into the more extremes of girl and boy. In a sense, I want to be the hardcore muscled fighter in the ring, and the hot card girl in a skimpy bikini. I want to have a rock solid body, and a gentle, soft, touchable body. Pecs, and boobs. Boxers and panties.
Urg! I hate feeling confused and like I'm hiding things from everybody close to me 3:
All in all, though, I'd doubt I'd ever get any kind of surgery. 1) it costs money, and although I'm not stingy, I hate spending money on things I can't return, and 2) as my mom has said, sometimes you've just got to think of your family. I don't know. My family is odd about many things. Sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal.
Maybe I just have a lot more growing up to do, a lot more experiences to have, and a lot more people to meet. Sometimes youth is just meant for being confused, cause if nobody was confused as a youth, then there'd be no use for the wise elders.
Feel free to maybe post something about yourself that's similar. Or whatever. It doesn't matter to me. As long as you read this and cared enough to comment, I'm happy :3 I mainly just made this to vent a little pent up emotion.

Commissions Updates!
Posted 13 years agoMy list of those getting free commissions is as follows:

I apologize that it's taking a while, but I'm trying to get these done and looking as nice as possible, and unfortunately, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. So, that being the case, I am not going to give a definite date of completion, but I will PROMISE, on my honor as a furry, a musician, a scout, and a fighter, I WILL have them done and in your paws.

MLP PARTAY!!! All are invited! (Unless we run out of room)
Posted 13 years agoAs the title says, PARTAY! Well, as much of one as I can hold, anyways.
I was planning this for my birthday, but I was unable to get the house to myself. Welp, just found out yesterday that my house is going to be empty from Thursday to Sunday. Soooo, what that means is, I would very much like to have some kind of furry get together for a belated party, seeing as how the furry community here in OK has been an amazing and accepting family to me over the past year.
So, the idea I've had is to have basically an MLP:FIM Marathon party type thing. Everyone would come over, hang out, run around and play games outside or just watch MLP in the living room or whatever. I was planning on cooking hamburgers and hotdogs and garden fresh vegies and drinks and general munchy food (though if you want alcohol, you'll have to bring it yourself. The stock here is not mine). We could also shoot off fireworks since there is no ban out here.
We technically have a hot tub, buuuut it's not set up, and is being sold.
Planning for it to be on Friday, from maybe 3 or 4 to as late as anyone wants! There's plenty of room for parking in the filed beside my house and in the driveway, so no worries there. Bring games, art stuff, outside toys, extra food, drinks, whatever!
Please, let me know if you'd like to participate in this ASAP! I didn't want to hold this Saturday or Sunday because of the two furmeets and the other party Saturday and the furbowl Sunday.
If enough people show interest in this, I'll post another journal with my address and phone number.

Free and Awesome Commissions!!!!!
Posted 13 years agoSo, a few of you know that I like to draw different things. Even fewer of you know that I get distracted SUPER easily. And, again, a few of you know that my birthday was last week.
What do these things all mean?!?!?!?
It MEANS that I got lots of art stuff for my birthday, I'm wanting to use them but I keep getting distracted, and am willing to draw lots of stuff!
Okay, that makes no sense. Basically, I'm wanting to use my markers and stuff, but I'm not very good at being inspired to do things on my own. I need people to push me or else I hop onto something else. I'm offering free simple commissions to get my chops up with these markers (Prismacolor from a friend, and some brush tipped and a set of a hundred from me :D).
I'll accept the first five commenters. Most of you know I have no real prejudice of what I draw. The things I won't draw: (clean) realistic, backgrounds (unless I'm doing something abstract and crazy, then I'll more than likely do an entire page worth), shading (still learning it); (Dirty) Macro, scat, vore, water sports.
I know my gallery images kinda suck, but those are older and most of you that watch me on here know me in real life and have been through my sketchbook, so you might have some idea of what I can do. I also do lots of abstract work and odd stuff. Just tell me what you want. If it's a pic of your fursona, leave a reference or tell me exactly what you want.
These are FREE, as I'm not too confident in my art, but if you like the art and wish to donate a dollar or two, I'll give you my paypal address. No worries, though, as I dun need moneys right now, jsut art practice :P

Modding Old DMG Gameboys
Posted 13 years agoSo, lately I've been really getting into chiptune and keygen music and have been wanting to get LSDJ (a program that uses the original Gameboy's 8bit sound capabilities to make very interesting music) and a DMG Gameboy and mod it out.
Main problem? I dunno how to run wires and stuff like that -_-
But, I'm thinking about getting a couple old gameboys, an LED backlighting kit, a pro sound mod kit, and possibly a clocking device mod, depending on how inspired I get on building. Also probably need to invest in some general electronics tools and a soldering iron.
Anyone else have any experience modding old electronics, especially gameboys, NES's, SNES's, Altaris and that like? Experience with chips and soldering? Tips for general safety of device?
I'm not horribly worried about destroying an old DMG, as I have found a bunch online for about $10-$20. If the modding looks too difficult, however, I'll just save the risk and money loss and buy a modded one for $100, as all the tools and mods will add up to about that anyways.

Posted 13 years agoFun at Riley Park Picnic!!!!
Posted 13 years agoJust got home from spending the day at Riley Park in Noble with a good group of the OK furs. Also spent the day cross dressing :P
Anyways, had a really great time, running around, spinning on the merri-go-round (or scarri-go-round, as even now I'm still feeling like I'm gonna vomit x.x), playing frisbee, eating good food, playing the the gayest dog ever, Cody, and just hanging out in general. Hopefully someday before the end of the summer anther park picnic can be had, and I won't ruin the food I planned on bringing :P

Birthday Plans!!!
Posted 13 years agoIdeas???
Less than a week now. Sounds like I'm counting off, huh? Don't mean to be, just got asked by my mother what I wanted to do for my birthday, or what I even wanted. Being the ever so decisive weasel I am, I didn't give an answer. The one thing I've been saving up for is a good mountain bike so then I can start getting into some hardcore trail riding and bike to work instead of waste the quarter tank of gas a week.
As far as what I want to do on the 22nd, I've been thinking of a few different possibilities. As far as family is concerned, we will more than likely just do a little cookout and eat some good food and stuffs. But as far as what I want to do, I'm thinking about going downtown and staying out late, hitting a club or something, maybe meet up with some friends or make some new friends. Kick start a new year and the beginning of summer at once.
If anyone is planning on being the city or in Bricktown next Friday night, let me know and maybe we can meet up if you want. I'm thinking about just wandering all night and having fun. Might just dress up in my girl stuff and hit a drag show :P
In other news, I've started running and working out again. If I ever get the time back, I may try training in a few martial arts again. Definitely mountain bike once I save up enough for the bike. Ayup, everything's just honky-dory.

June 22, 2011-June 22, 2012
Posted 13 years agoI know it's not really the 22nd yet, but hell, I couldn't help but think about all the things that have gone on this year and that have added great new experiences to my short life. So, despite my birthday still being just a few weeks away, I'm gonna go ahead and spill out my best memories for this year. Funny, most of them happen to be furry related :3
June 22, 2011- By this time last year, I was working at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch as the Archaeology and Art teacher, as well as the mountain bike director and Equestrian helper. I absolutely loved, and still love, that camp. I'd give nearly anything to have been there this summer. There's absolutely nothing like spending seven weeks in the far southern reaches of Oklahoma, hundreds of miles away from your home and your friends, outdoors 24/7, able to mount up a bike or a horse in the dead of night and bike where ever your heart desired, meeting a thousand new people every week and teaching. Oh, the teaching, how I miss it. I read about three college text books over art before I went to camp, only to find out I didn't really have the time to teach anything and get the merit badge requirements done 3: But, whatever, I still taught an amazing amount about Archaeology everyday. I got to go to the Chickasaw museum down in Tishomingo every week.
August, 2011- Camp had been over for about two weeks, and band camp had started. Ugh, I HATED marching camp. Just two weeks of being out in the heat, marching back and forth and getting yelled at and not even being able to play my saxophone, as it was fucked up ALL WEEK. I ended up fixing it the last day at our preview show, but still, for the whole two weeks beforehand, the first time of me getting to play my sax all summer, and it goes kuput on me. FUCK YOU, TENOR! Oh, also was the woodwind section leader for my band for the whole marching season, though really I didn't do anything. I got yelled at by the band director for being me and absolutely hated my saxophone section once again. Though at least at this point, we had some cool saxists. Mostly the alto section this year. They were great.
After marching camp, school came back in session, and I pretty much just fucked around as I normally do. Spent most my time with my friends at one of their houses since I didn't feel like being home and got yelled at for various things. Nothing big, though.
September, 2011- This was probably one of the greatest domino-effect-starting months ever, OF ALL TIME. What happened was... I discovered that there were other furries at my school. And one of them was a part of the band :D I discovered this fact by first discovering about Oklacon and trying to figure out a way to and from it up in Watonga. I was dying to go, as I had the opportunity to go to Furry Fiesta the year before, but things came up, and I had been wanting to go to a furry con forEVAR. Anyways, I was on Oklacon's FB page and was asking if anyone in the Mustang area had room. I was using my normal FB, so it did have my name (LandShark, duh), and the person who first replied said they might have room, then ten minutes later they posted again asking if I played the saxophone and other various things. We figured out who each other was, as he was using an alternate furry account, and thus started the Tuttle group of Blaze, Lignus, and myself, and soon joining after, Sage. Sage didn't go to Oklacon,as he didn't join our group until about December or so.
October, 2011- FIRST FURRY CON!! Oklacon 9: A Stitch in Time Saves Nine was undoubtably, inconcievably, unbelievably AWESOME! Blayze, Lignus and I had an absolutely AMAZING time, and I met some of my first, and best, furry friends ever. I met
TigerSammich and we quickly became great friends, and soon after I met the greatest Louisiana furs ever,
Torrofuz,
TobyBunny, and
Longneck, or Torro, Toby, and Wren, respectively. The four of them made my con experience great. I skipped a football game that I required to march at for the con (it was scheduled during fall break, so I thought they could just go fuck themselves) and I am SOOOOO glad I did. I danced, I ran, I cuddled, I hung out at the campfire, I heard stories, told jokes, played my guitar. There were a few firsts for one night as well, but that's my memory and I plan to hold it and cherish it.
The other amazing furs that made my first con:
HazelHeart,
Bucktowntiger,
DreamingWyld
November, 2011- Don't remember much from this point other than attending my first furry bowling meet and amazing everybody with my awkward bowling technique. Saw some familiar faces from Oklacon and met a lot of new people. Made lots of friends and friends to be.
December, 2011- Not too much really happened this month to be honest. Yeah, it was Christmas time, but all that really meant for me was lots and lots of cleaning of the house and cooking. I did, however, get an AMAZING LandShark T-Shirt from my Mama K, my official second mother. My all time favorite T-Shirt. This may actually be the month where I finally started watching MLP: FIM for the first time and instantly fell in love with it, especially Rainbow Dash, in case it was hard to tell :P
January, 2012- The best part about this month was discovering that I would be able to go to Furry Fiesta. I was ecstatic! Sammich, whom I said had become a good friend of mine from Oklacon, offered to open his home to me since I couldn't afford a hotel room. He also offered it to the Louisiana furs, so it was like the whole pack was back! There were a few worries for a bit, but I made sure to straighten them out beforehand to ensure nothing got fucked up. I paid registration and paid for a train ticket and eagerly awaited for February to arrive.
This was also the month that I got the coolest car ever! I bought a '90 K-5 Blazer Silverado. AMAZING CONDITION!! Shit gas mileage, sure, but I drive so little that it doesn't really matter :P est part about my truck? I bought it for 3K when it's easily forth double or triple that, as is, without any of the work I'm gonna be putting into it to do up the paint job and body work. Great investment, absolutely great :D
February, 2012- FF was Super duper awesome! It was my first time riding a train and attending FF, plus there were a few other firsts throughout the con, but we'll get to that. The first day I was livid. I wanted to go everywhere and do everything. I got to try Which-Which for the first time and found that it was really good. I also finally got to meet a guy that I'd known for years from a furry forum but had never met and also discovered that he was a little different than I discovered. I met Sammich's mate and thought he was really nice. Hehe, also met Shadow "Wangstaff" Wagstaff. Hehe, I made fun of his name the whole con :3 I danced that first night and had a blast and that night I thought I was gonna be sleeping in a huge furpile, but some things happened, and the fur I mentioned before that I knew caused a good friend to get hurt, so things were broken up, but for the better I think, though I was very comfortable laying on a big dalmi :3 I got lost from them for most of the second day, though if that hadn't had happened, I would never have THE GREATEST story ever to hold against a certain red panda. Hung out with
Daxterdot and Purity and watched them and various others get drunk before I finally found my guys, already drunk, and found a very unshy dalmatian feeling very cuddly and I got to experience my first kiss and make-out session with him. I'm super glad I met him. He's an amazing guy and his mate is the luckiest bunny in the world :3 I love both of you!
I also got LandShark's first con badge and I even got a badge for Omaui, my old red panda character that I created as an ultimate bad/good guy for multiple stories I was writing. Got lots and lots of pony swag and met lots of damn cool people.
March, 2012- Medieval fair was in town for the weekend and I went with a bunch of furs. Stayed from nearly open to close. Got a gnarly sunburn. Also ended up going to the Saturday Furmeet and got to meet some new people.
Got a pretty good job with some great people. Currently working at All American Pizza in Tuttle. Manager and boss are two amazing people and I am able to work out so much with them, it's unreal.
Saw BULLY in Edmond at the theatres there. This was important to me because I am friends with one of the main girls in it. Kelby is my friend, and I love her to death. Lee filmed me a little bit for the movie, but it was cut, as there was a lot of footage.
April, 2012- Attended Wild Nights and met even more great people. Went absolutely crazy at Robber's Cave, running around and climbing. Danced for hours both nights without a care in the world. Met the amazing
thatgreenmonster and got her to do LandShark in the con theme, ZOMBIES :D I still have yet to scan and upload the picture, but I promise I will. I also won the shirt she drew on in sharpie at the charity auction, successfully spending $40 on it, $120 overall on it, some bubbles, and a WWII aviators map bag that I got signed by an amazing author (can't remember her name). On the shirt, Hazard drew a Unicorn (MLP style), vomitting rainbows, and on the back it just simply said PARTY HARD. Greatest shirt. Ever.
Although there was good at the con, there was lots of bad at home. Upon returning home, I discovered that my little sister had been in a situation involving her nearly getting killed by her baby sitter's son. The guy in question had started attacking my sis and her baby sitters and went after her with intent to kill, and his own father turned a gun on him and killed him.
May, 2012- Attended Central Plains Fur Meet 2012 and, as at every con, had an absolute blast. Too much happened there for me to fit into here, but the best thing had to have been meeting
Zahzu. She is definitely another great fur friend I will cherish in my heart forever and always. Also, being May, that meant finals at school. And lots of them. Ugh, they all sucked, as I worked every day and got home late every day, but I still passed all of them and finished out with a 4.0 average again despite everything.
Ooh, some great firsts for me at CPFM: first time getting drunk, technically not first time smoking a cigar, but first time with a full one, first time kissing a girl, first time being a part of a group meditation, first time meeting someone else who could play the Jew Harp.
June, 2012- Birthday coming up. Really dunno what to do. I want to celebrate the passing of last year and ring in this year and its goods and bads. But, I just dunno how :/ First time in three years being home for my birthday. Anyone got any suggestions for what I should do? I kinda been thinking about trying to have a get together somewhere and invite as many of my furry friends as possible to make it awesome. But I'd have to work out some things first to make sure it all worked out.
If you read through all of this, I hope it wasn't too boring. And if I didn't include you in my memories, it's not because you weren't important or anything, I just didn't want to drone on and on or anything. Everyone I met this year is absolutely amazing and I'm very greatful that I've met all of you.

Anyone Going to AFW or Wanna Go?
Posted 13 years agoBeen thinking about going to Anime Festival Wichita for the past few weeks and wanted to know if anyone else was going? I wouldn't mind someone to ride up there with me on the three hour drive or to help with gas. Or even to just see a familiar face. Never been to an anime con before, so this oughta be interesting.
CPFM Roll Call!!!
Posted 13 years agoSo, got back from the Centr4al Plains Fur Meet last Sunday. In all truth, it is probably now my most favorite con EVAR! It was my fourth con in a year, Oklacon first, FF second, and Wild Nights third. Although I've been to far bigger cons than this one, the small group made for a lot better of a time. There might've been maybe forty or fewer people there the whole weekend. This is only the second con that I've felt this much PCD from afterwards )8
Many things went down over the weekend, many inside jokes were made, many new friendships set aflame and old friendships rekindled.
For those of you following
Zahzu, you might've heard about the whole "OOOOHHHHH!!" and "MY MOM" thing that happened CONSTANTLY all weekend, but for those of you who aren't, the whole joke is from that awesome show The Regular Show, which Zahzu and various others started making references to, which pulled everyone else into them as well. By the time everyone was leaving on Sunday, all it took was one person to start the "OOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!"s and soon everyone left at the con would start to pick up on them. Made for many odd looks for the non-furs who shared our camping spot.
Another inside joke comes from my weekend sleepaway, THE DEN OF DEBAUCHERY!! AKA The Tent of Tease, or The Shelter of Shag. I went to the con with
DaxterDot and he brought a HUGE NINE PERSON TENT! At one point during the first night, we had nine people AND A DOG inside the tent, just chillin' out and bein cool, ya know? Well, much to say, the name came from the fact that people got cuddly in the tent pretty much every night, leading onto another inside joke...
I don't feel I have to go into the story as it's not mine to tell, but I would just like to say that THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!
One last thing before closing, I also spent most of the weekend cross dressing :3 first time being out in public in my new skirt and tops. Thank you to everyone who complimented me on my look and took pictures!
Finally, to close, I'm gonna do as promised and post the full list of FA names from everyone that I got on the last day, and ask about a few people who's names I did not get:

Future Me Meme
Posted 13 years agoMaking this up as I go along, so here we go:
Future me will go to:
College?: Yes, hopefully for something having to do with neurological research pertaining to improving the brain, or quantum physics.
A different state?: Hopefully, would love to move to Ohio or Main or even Virginia. Such beautiful places.
Furcons?: Been to two so far, and going to a third here soon. So, yes, I will always go to furcons.
Clubs?: Oooooh, yes, yes, yes! Gotta love dancing and having an excuse to cross dress in public!
Future me will:
Learn a Martial Art?: Yes, Shintoshi
Travel?: Yesh, to everywhere!
Be collared?: Murr ;3
Be Mated?: I sure hope so :/
Be talented at something?: Duh! I'm already a sexy Sax Weasel.
Have a big home?: Umm, nah, not really. I like little places in the country.
Be well known?: Maybe, possibly for music or for researching things.
This is all I came up with. Feel free to add what you want or change things up.

Anyone wanna help me pick out an outfit?
Posted 13 years agoOkay, so, a good friend of mine is moving to D.C. to intern as a lobbyist and since I've known her she's been promising to take me to this gay club that's around OKC, and I've put off going so then I could go with her and her girlfriend and their friends. Now, the club also does drag shows. I've been wanting to dress up all nice to go there for the longest time, but I didn't know where it was or anything. Well, since it'll probably be the last time I get to see them for a loooooong time, I wanted to do something fun and go as a girl my first time.
My problem? I don't have any of my own clothes. I can borrow my mom's shoes, she won't mind, but I need my own clothes. I'm not exactly too good at finding good clothes, so I wanted to know if anyone wanted to tag along shopping with me one day to help me find an outfit? I'm thinking of getting a denim skirt with a black top and a garter belt so then I can kind of work in the whole punk girl look I like. I'll wear my striped thigh highs with the garter belt and then wear some of my mom's super thigh high boots.

BULLY Movie Tonight!
Posted 13 years agoFor those of you who don't know, BULLY, the documentary looking into the lives' of five victims over the course of a year filmed by Lee Hirsch, is now showing in Oklahoma at Quail Springs Mall in the AMC theater. Also, in case you didn't know, one of the victims happens to be from my town where a lot of the filming took place. I'm more than likely in a few parts as I had been interviewed a few times and my anti-bully presentation was recorded a while back. But anways...
For those of you who want to see it, It's out the 13th through the 20th at Quail Springs Mall. I'm going tonight with two of the victim's families at the 8 o'clock showing. Please, try and see it sometime if you can, it's definitely a worth while see.

No Go on Camp
Posted 13 years agoDecided I'm not gonna work at camp this year. I may love it to death and I may have secretly been looking forward to being a lifeguard, I just don't think I can do it. I've lost too many co-counselors who aren't returning this year, and I've just got some personal things to work out, and the no school during summer part will help. Plus, I'll be able to make a lot more money to go towards furcons and cute outfits and a mountain bike and random trips to Dallas and Louisiana.
Since I'll be free over summer, is there any fur events that go on in the summer that I'll be able to attend? I don't want to feel as if I wasted three summers worth of pay raises at camp for nothing. I already know about the Central Plains Meet in Kansas in May, and I've been looking into it. If there's anything else, please, let me know.
