Hey peeps!

Some of you might have known - or definitely known if you followed my Twitter - I was over at ConFuzzled for the past week. It was an absolute blast, everyone I met there was fantastic and the mood was top notch.

Managed to get heaps of sketches done too, which I'll be uploading over the next week. I'm hoping I can carry on that inspiration and keep making more sketches too, but fully coloured, keeping the rampage going x3

Safe to say I'll be trying to get to ConFuzzled every year I can from here on. Last time I went was in 2011 and the con has improved /so/ much since then. I wouldn't want to miss out on any more.

So yeah, so many thanks to all the great people I met there, and here's hoping I see you all again, and more, next year!

Sooo it's no secret I don't practice my drawing as much as I should. But that's all changing. I noticed a bunch of people joinng in with a 100 Sketch Challenge over on  zenirix's profile and since they hadn't got too far ahead already, it seemed like a good opportunity to join in.

Especially with all the other squirrels taking part, I wouldn't want to miss out! x3

They started a few days before me so I've started a few days ahead to keep in sync with them. When we eventually get to 100 though I'll most likely carry on with the days I missed afterwards. And after that, well, I should have enough arty muse to keep drawing whatever!

The first three sketches for this will be uploaded today, and expect more sketches uploaded each day from here on. =)

Previously I'd been using this page mainly for my own artwork, since I felt that it would give a better idea of what people were watching me for if I only uploaded stuff which I'd actually drawn.

But over the years there's actually a lot of artwork that's been drawn for me that the original artists have never posted. Art that I'm sure you guys would love to see - so I'm uploading them to this account, a few at a time. :D With permission from the artists of course.

Further down the line these will all be put into scraps to keep the main gallery clean. Hope you enjoy them! I have a couple of pieces of art of my own very close to completion also. Expect at least one of them very soon. =)

...But I'm sure you'll have figured that out by now, heh. I do tend to update my Twitter a fair bit though, so if you're ever curious what I'm up to or want to drop a message by, you're more than welcome. =D

You might notice that i've decided to stop using the 2B to shade and tried to use the colour pencils properly in layers to give a gradient of light to dark. Hopefully i'll get better at it as time goes on, but for now, what are your thoughts on it?

Am I taking a step in the right direction? Is there something i've overlooked? I'm always open to hear what you think.

...esspecially if they're macroable, because macro is always fun to draw. =P Just looking for a bit of variety from the usual characters, and all the better if I get to draw for an actual person at the same time.

Bloody hell, that took a long time didn't it? xD Huge cheers to all of you who made up that number, esspecially those of you who have been supporting me from the start.

Last year was a pretty embarassingly slow year for art, really didn't submit anywhere near as much as i'd have liked to. So this year, i'm aiming to upload drawings much more often, at the very least a full A4 peice a month. Sketches might come with it here and there too. =)

So yeah, keep your eyes peeled!

Yet another three months by and no journal, tut tut eh. xD Still alive in any case, still drawing, posted up a bit more of the macro earlier on which you'll have probably noticed. There'll be a lot more of that in the future of course, though next up i'll be picking up some of my enthusiasm for Cyberpunk, and drawing something in that theme featuring a couple of friends. Should be fun to draw, and hopefully a bit less chaotic. \o/

Oh, and Confuzzled was absolutely amazing. You'll see me there next year for sure =D

I'm not the kind of person to go into in-depth summaries of my present life here, and I doubt many of you are actually here to read such things anyway. But as far as the art goes, it's definitely being done. You can expect some more soon. =3

Just thought it best to update the journal so you know i'm not dead. Three months since that last one already, wow.

The new year started a fair while back but figured now I should give you all a bit of an update. Still got plenty of ideas for things i'd like to draw, sketched to some extent, but will be uploaded in full colour and all when they're sorted. Definitely going to be trying to do them more often, with plenty of sketching around inbetween. I'll also be trying to improve on my perspective in composition, and trying some more detailed shading to see how it goes. It probably won't work entirely at first, but i'll certainly be giving it a shot in the drawings to come.

A few people have been asking me of late, so i've decided i'll start taking commissions and trades to make sure I don't run out of things I can be drawing. Looking through my gallery you'll see what I like to do, and pretty much the only thing I do;

Traditional pencil, coloured with background and single character - £10/$15. Chuck in an extra £5/$7 and i'll take a shot at another character in it. Payment would be made through PayPal.

I'll also be open for art trades, so if you're interested in either, give me a note and i'll see what we can do. =)

Firstly, there's an awesome secret santa being held over at  asecretsanta! You don't need to make a journal to enter it or anything, its just fun stuff you'd do well to take a peek at, if you like fun stuff. =3

Also i've decided that i'm going to upload to scraps all the other, older art from dA that I've drawn over the past several years. All of them are A4 with backgrounds as I like to do, and truth be told most of them are probably perfectly fine. They just aren't my favourites, and there's a lot of the old Sonic Style that i'm forever trying to distance myself from. =P Have a peek in scraps if you're curious.

Will also upload a small refsheet of sorts that I made in the lecture just now, since thats overdue in one form or another. Now you can draw me more arts! =D

With the eternally catchy and relaxing menu theme from GRID looping in the background, I decided to give the gallery a bit of improvement. I'm sure many a visitor here will have cringed at how washed-out the colours were before, when such simple tools can fill them with life again.

So, almost all the drawings in my gallery have been given a light touching up to compensate for what might have been lost in scanning. All the pictures have been given new thumbnails also, to give a better taste of the images from the gallery.

If you still see the old images, or full-page thumbnails still appear in the gallery proper, give it a refresh. I hope you agree that the drawings are looking better than ever.
