So today's apparently the day of the Rapture in Christianity, and the world will supposedly end at 6PM. If you speak to me today, odds are I'm going to be making fun of it despite my blatant religious background. I am going full doomsayer today or something, just because it'd be fun. Yeah I know, I'm slightly twisted. D:

Disclaimer aside, here's the issue. I feel like my streams aren't really worth doing anymore. I know I'm not a great artist, I don't draw porn like some of the more popular streams, etc, but... what's happened lately? When I first started streaming I'd have anywhere from 7-10 people viewing. To me, that's a lot, and it usually ends up being rowdy and fun, with conversation to go with the free requests I did for the hell of it for anyone who asked. Sure my repertoire was limited; I'm still learning how to do a lot of things, as I'm a writer before I'm an artist. I've got a lot of work to do. But at the same time, people came to have fun, and that made the streams really worth it.

Lately, though, I'm lucky to get three or four people tops, if even that. I've had to cancel streams due to lack of viewers. Conversation is weak at best, and it doesn't last long even when I try to bring it up. I know you're not watching the stream the whole time; I expect people multitask, etc. But when it's dead silent for nearly a half hour, it really makes me wonder if these streams are worth it anymore. No one seems to really have fun, and it's really not that much entertaining to just draw. I do my streams 'cause I want a fun way to interact with others while doing things I like.

So I don't think I'm going to stream again anytime soon. It's just not fun anymore when few if any people care.

So I feel like drawing again, and now that I have a desk I CAN ACTUALLY ACCESS I'm looking forward to trying out my tablet slightly differently. XD

Will be starting shortly after I set things up at home, but expect interruptions now and again.

Well, it looks like I won't be able to make AC this year like I had planned. Timing wouldn't work out since Zy's coming down here for my 21st birthday, so between all the traveling and costs and time spent away, it wouldn't work for us to do both, and my birthday is much more important here. I hate that I can't make AC; I was really looking forward to it, and I wanted to meet a bunch of people I was going to see there so badly. Unfortunately, life just works out that way for me right now. Sorry to all those folks I was planning on meeting. =(

And for the second part of my journal, and I apologize for being so rude, but why the hell is everyone so emo lately!? I mean seriously, I logged into MSN, and I see three status messages right away about people being depressed, wanting to die, feeling that they're terrible people, and it's like... really, guys? So many people say their lives are bad but I'm 100% positive I can find worse ones. That's not to say we don't have our troubles and our times that we're down, but I mean... it's like, people who do that sorta thing are usually (note this word, it's not always the case) for lack of better words, a dramawhore. I hate when people do this, act dramatic and tearful and woe is me in order to get attention, affection, etc etc. I've done this in the past and hated myself for it too, before I go and prove myself a hypocrite. If you want to die, you wouldn't be logging onto MSN long enough to post a message to say you want to die. If you wanted to die you'd likely be doing it already (which would freak me out, don't get me wrong). If you're such a freaking horrible person in your eyes, why are you posting a status about it? What good does it do besides demand gratification from people? Ugh.

Anyway, rant over. So tl;dr for all this: won't be going to AC this year, and I hate when people put all of these "woe is me" and "I want to die" status messages that scream for attention.

Last night I was hanging around, unable to sleep, when I did my usual check to see if my grades were posted up. Surprisingly, they were! I was dreading it, as you all know; one class bombed and I wouldn't be able to graduate next semester, which would lead me to dropping out of college.

However! All's well. :3 C, C, B, C, C, D. Surprisingly that D was in Theater Management instead of Ancient Political Thought or Constitutional Law II (the two classes I was doing badly in, both getting Cs). Don't ask me how I did that. The point is that I'm safe! I'm good to graduate next semester, and I can move on with my life after that. But that's a big burden off of my shoulders.

I've seen this in a lot of journals lately and I was bored and thought hey, why not. Plus it could be fun.

So, y'all know I'm a wuff. I'm not changing that, nor am I scrapping Zee. XD Things aren't changing, it's just a meme folks! But if I weren't a wolf, what would I be? And why? Add some comments, this could be fun. :3

Well short story shorter, I'm back. Found my peace of mind a lot faster than I expected to. Yay?

Anyway, for those of you who were curious/worried/wanna know what's going on in my head, here's the backstory:

As many of you know, I'm in college as a law major at the moment, and it's been getting stressful for me in particular. I'm supposed to be graduating next semester, so long as everything goes well and according to schedule.

And here is where we delve into the unknown stuff. First off, I've been facing a lot of issues, sort of an "early midlife crisis." I really don't want to go into law, but because I was forced into making a decision so that my parents could haul me off to college and get it done with, it's what I got stuck with. As a result, it's kinda left me wondering why I'm wasting my time here.

Another issue is that my parents are paying for college with their retirement money so that I can avoid debt. I love them for it, but it also makes me feel terrible when I find myself falling behind and questioning my current path; am I wasting their time and effort? It leaves me feeling really bad about it.

However, after some thinking I came to a decision. If I fail any of my courses this semester (one's a possibility), I'm stopping for now, taking the credits I have, and moving on with my life for the meantime. This means getting a job and earning money so me and Zy can move in together finally. However, if I pass this semester, I'm going to wrap up my undergraduate degree next semester and that way I can have a degree to my name at least while I try to figure out what I want to do with it. In the meantime, job and moving away from home will still happen.

So yeah. Hello speedy peace of mind. Zee's back, folks.

See the title. I'm gonna be gone for a few days off of messengers, FA, etc. Got some serious emotional and mental issues I gotta work out, and since I haven't been able to really find much help for it, I'm gonna be taking some time to reflect and think. Dunno exactly when I'll be back, probably this weekend. Manhunt's second round and third-round eliminations should be out next week.

So much win in one little article. Only heard about this in Constitutional Law today, but this is awesome.

I'm sure you guys know who Westboro Baptist Church is. For those of you who don't, here's a quick runthrough. I may be a tad bit off, but this is my understanding of it. These are heavily-religious zealots who believe that "God is punishing the US" for allowance of things such as homosexuality. They've been seen showing signs such as "God hates fags" or "God blew up the shuttle" etc etc. They're particularly known for their protests at military funerals, stating that God is killing soldiers because of America's "evil."

Believe it or not, these guys won in court too, which sucks beyond belief. No one has a right to cause such emotional pain to the family and friends of those who have been lost in service of their country. This is just cruel beyond words. But unfortunately, it was legal.

Anyway, these guys recently announced their intent to picket at a Mississippi funeral, and the following happened, quoting the article:

"A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.

Rankin County handled this thing perfectly. There were many things that were put into place that most will never know about and at great expense to the county.

Most of the morons never made it out of their hotel parking lot. It seems that certain Rankin county pickup trucks were parked directly behind any car that had Kansas plates in the hotel parking lot and the drivers mysteriously disappeared until after the funeral was over. Police were called but their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas plated cars could get out.

A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business."

Okay, so it was only four days instead of 7-10 like I expected. Things managed to settle down quickly enough now that I've got the worst of my stress out of the way... finished my fifteen-page paper literally a half hour before it was due, got my test done, and finished it well, I think. Now there's just the big doozy of a 40-page paper but it's not immediately due, which is why I'm somewhat more relaxed. Unlike this last paper I'm not going to put off asking for help, etc, if I need it... I plan to try and do 2-3 pages a day, see what help I can get, so that I can finish it in a reasonable amount of time with a lot less stress than this one.

tl;dr I'm back, should be around a lot more, and I liiiiiiiiiiiiiive.

For the next week or so I'm going to be very scarce on messengers and replying to any notes sent to me. The reason is that a lot of things are coming due, and they're becoming very, very pressing, to the point where I can't afford any distractions. So I'm going to be pretty much vanishing for a good week to ten days, popping on very rarely when I need a break.

Tonight I plan on streaming! Expect me around 8PMish EST... 8:30 at latest, likely, as I need some SLEEP right now. x_x Haven't slept more than an hour or two on and off for the last two days. So I'm about to go crash, but my alarm is set for 7:30, so after I wake up, get a quick dinner, etc, I will be streaming.

Also, tonight's work is going to be a SINGLE piece. Maybe two, but most likely just one. Why's that? No, it's not because I'm tired. It's because I wanna put a lot of work in and get some more practice with my detail. I just feel like my work's been lacking lately, like it's been kinda flat and cartoonish, so I'm going to see what I can do.

This next month is going to be absolutely insane for me, I'd like to point that out now for everyone. Though Manhunt is underway still and will still be making progress, things will be slowed down. I will still stream occasionally too, especially as I need a break from schoolwork now and again, but for the most part my attention and my work will be limited at best 'til things settle down.

To give you guys an idea of what I have coming up to do this month:
~A 40-page MINIMUM term paper for my seminar class.
~A 15-20 page term paper for my Ancient Political Thought class.
~An enormous promptbook for my Theater Management class.

All this is due by the end of the month, so I've got a lot of work ahead of me. x_x

It's been a few days since I posted round one of the new Manhunt season. Usually with my works people jump on them, and I get tons of favorites, comments, etc. This time however, it seems that it didn't get as much interest as usual, and I was curious as to why for future writing. Is it too long, perhaps, and you just haven't gotten through it yet? Or is it something in my writing style that's off?

Really it's more of a curiosity, not so much a "fave me now! I need my popularity!" sorta deal. 'Cause it's unusual and all. xD

I keep meaning to have Manhunt go up sooner than later. It was supposed to go up Saturday night, but a lot of stuff has been happening since then, and it's been keeping me too busy to work fast. However, despite that, I had almost gotten it prepped to get up tonight. I had very little left to do, and then... well.

My mouse has a habit of going up to the upper right hand of the screen somehow, either from closing another window or w/e. And it stays up there. Now sometimes when I type my laptop registers it as a mouse click. It's rare but it does happen. When it does, Word normally asks if I want to save, but it leaves the default on "No." Which is stupid beyond belief. That being said, when I'm typing fast, a letter recognized as a click followed by the space bar decided to say "No, I don't want to save your work that you've been working hard all day at." So... I just lost a bunch of data, and this is getting pushed back even FURTHER. God this has not been a good day.

That being said, I promise the next round will be up so much faster! Next week is Spring Break for me, so I should have no schoolwork to prevent me from getting work done. Again I'm so sorry for the delays... I know y'all are okay with it, but it's just so frustrating when I'm falling behind on my own deadlines again and again, and honestly it's really becoming upsetting at this point...

Anyway, I'll do my best to get this up ASAP, I promise. I'll be typing all night if I have to.
