Me and Icelyon finally arrived in Toronto yesterday after a long flight. Was nervous getting through the airport security x.x we got stopped a few times and no matter what, they always make you feel so guilty of nothing.

Firestormsix was nice enough to pick us up from the airport and let us stay over at his place. I just felt bad cause icelyon and myself were so tired from lack of sleep the night before so ended up sleeping over 12 hours (so antisocial of us but we were so tired)

It's nice out here in Canada and was snowing :3 I'm looking forward to Furnal Equinox con and meeting the furs that will be attending. See you there later ^__^

I am so looking forward to be attending the Furnal Equinox con in Canada this March. It will be so nice to finally get to meet many of the furs in the fandom that I have admired for many years. It will also be a nice chance for me to get to meet some of the people that have supporter my art ^__^'

I have to take this opportunity to thank the people that are organizing Furnal Equinox as they have been very generous in inviting both myself and  icelyon I also have to thank them for their patients with me as im not the easiest to keep on top of things or to get hold of ^_^# and I do apologize for that.

But never the less, Im very excited and will be a nice opportunity for me to get to fursuit with the guy that made the suit itself  firestormsix

I have been away from FA for a few weeks. just wanted to take a break from it all and get other things done *cough* play through Halo *cough* hehe.

I will also be back again into the swing of trying to get art drawn as much as my free time will give. I am still closed to commissions but will be considering doing some again soon.

That was a great con and had such a fun time. was nice having a pool in the hotel :D (though my swimming pants left nothing to the imagination >_> should have probably tried them on before buying them hehe)

was nice to have met a lot of people. i just hate how bad i am with names ( if i have a picture, it helps me remember who im talking to and the badges sometimes are facing the wrong way hehe.

Had fun on the dance floor too but my shyness got the best of me at times when wanting to approach fursuiters to get hugs and pics taken but ended up chickening out :P and i totally got shy when the guest of honour shook my hand and ended up just smiling and not knowing what to say XP

all in all, it was loads of fun and will be attending next years for sure (god willing) now to deal with the post con depression ;_;

Yay! off work for a few days holiday :3 and will be finally going to my second convention up in Manchester called Confuzzled. will be heading that way tomorrow with Icelyon. A bit disappointed that my fursuit had not arrived in time for the con, was hoping to début Joshua there :/ so, sorry to those who were hoping to see him padding about at the con.

But oh well, i still plan to have fun. you guys will have to be happy with the plain old zen :D Should be loads of fun and will take loads of pics (and they have a gym and pool there so that should be awesome to use :3

Hi all ^_^; just thought i do a quick update for those that might be listening hehe. Cant believe its almost March. this year is chugging along at warp 9.
I have been busy almost a lot lately with work and private time so have let my replies to some of your notes, fall behind. So just to let you know, i will get around to replying as soon as i can and sorry for delays. its not me acting stuck up and not replying so please be patient and not send me hate notes for not replying ^_^;; (you all know who you are :P )

As far as commissions go, im not taking on any just yet. i have 2 that i might be considering to do soon (just got to make time and stop playing games, trying get my achievements up ^^;; hehe

As for as cons go, Me and Icelyon are looking forward to CF in May. we wish we could attend the really big cons in Europe and the US but cause of my visa and passport (still) ..I cant travel But saving up for my British citizenship so i can travel :D
13th of March will be my B-day so will be going to a London furmeet most likely to celebrate it big style with some furs ..and maybe be lucky and get some fursuit b-day hugs haha (kidding Icey :P )

finally, after almost a week i managed to sort through the notes and try finalize who im gonna draw for. it was not easy to do as there were a lot of ideas i liked but realistically i cant really do them all, so if i did not choose your commission, i am sorry but will be open again soon :3 if for any chance i get more time or they pull out for some reason, i might do one more persons commission but for now, its best I keep it at 2.

Ok, not sure how well this will work, but im gonna try something different.

Because I work full time and time is not on my side, i can only offer 2 slots for commissions. Also, to allow myself a little bit of artistic freedom, if i get a few requests for commissions, i will have a closing time set to ..say tomorrow morning when i get up, I will then go through the requests and pick 2 request ideas i feel would translate well as drawings.

Hope that makes some sense ^_^;

Prices:

I have set the commission price at £80 - which is about $133 (sorry if you live outside the UK. i know its a bit steep but i do always try to do my best with every pic i do and i unfortunately am strapped for cash and have bills i need to pay x_x

So if you interested, send me a note and like i say, i will tomorrow, go through the requests and pick 2 commissions i think would be nice to draw, and will place a journal up saying who they are ^__^' or if there is something you didnt catch, let me know too.

Im thinking of opening up for commissions again but for the love of me, I honestly dont know what to charge.

I dont want to put a high price range up as it gives the impression im up my own butt (murr) but at the same time dont want to under charge as i try put a lot into my pics, both time and effort and heck, could really use the money to be honest -_-;;
Also, as i live now in the UK, i have to charge realistic enough so that i get some money but also keeping in mind countries out side the UK that currency is not as strong (boy do i know all about that coming from out side the UK)

Any who, as soon as i figure out what to charge, i will open up to a few commissions at a time ^_^ so any input would be most generous for me :3

Been really getting annoyed lately. my passion is to draw and would love to focus more on that as a living as well as for my own personal gratification but lately, work has been so demanding of me that it feels like its killing my creative side in that when i come home from work, i just cant be bothered to go back behind a computer screen to draw.

lately I have been pondering about leaving my job (as they dont really seem to take care of their staff) and working from home by focusing on my art and trying to improve. But in this economic time and a lot of responsibility to take care of bills and my mate, i dont think it would be wise of me.

I just wonder if its even possible to make a living every month on commissions and auctions? and there is only so much the fandom will take of zen art before it gets to a stage where it wont want to buy art from me hehe.

I guess, i have no choice but to try find the time to balance a full time job, my relationship/ social life and my art :/

just wanted to give an update on print out progress and also to thank those who have already payed in money for your prints. you have no idea of how very thankful i am as that money has meant I can live and by some food (its been a hard month ^_^;; )

On to the Print outs, I have started printing out the print outs of the -lap dance- as its easy for me to print out that one first as I have sorted out the template and have saved it so the color is correct. There has been a slight delay on actually printing out more than i wanted to cause how it works is i use the A2 printer at my work, but because it is production time where i work, I have to wait.

but the ones I have printed out, I will be posting off sometime this week (probably even better for me is after pay day as I learned it actually costs more than i thought it did to sent over seas x_x oops hehe)

I thought it be best to keep you updated so you know whats happening with your printouts and to rest assured I have not run off with your money :3

I am just letting you know that print outs of any of my pics are available (as im in desperate need to raise a bit of cash for this Saturday coming as im heading down to a meet and money wise, its going to be expensive and its money I really dont have but felt I really needed to make more effort to go to more meets )

So in an an attempt to have some money to get to the meet and back again and still eat, I have decided to make my art available for print out in A2 size paper (inches- 16.5 x 23.4 - millimeters - 420 by 594 ) its good quality paper and and ink.

because most of my art was not drawn with A2 in mind, they will be made to fit as close to the A2 size as possible.

Price: it would be £20 per print
(it may seem expensive but looking online, its about this price for a high quality print and since its out of my own pocket to print them and still ship them off, i am only making a small profit)

So let me know if you are interested or not and i can get cracking :3

im back again after a break I took away from the fandom. It just all gets too much sometimes for me with work and other things and since I work behind a computer the last thing I want is to come home and sit back behind a computer screen.

So my appolagie for being quiet on here and on any other place I am known to haunt ^_^; So I have lots and lots of notes and messages to read through. so if i have not replied to any, now you know why hehe.

Asfor commissions, Im not taking any on just yet. I have one I need to get cracking on (you know who you are :3 ) I am toying with the idea of doing A2 printouts of some of my art for those that might be interested. I will work out costs of that :3

I have always been a big fan of fursuits but after the recent RBW con in London, I find myself crazy about them. After meeting a few people in the fandom who are fursuiters and seeing the world through their eyes, I see now how much I would totally love to finally step into my own and become Joshua, my tiger fursona.

I feel its the next step in my evolution in the fandom. I am slowly becoming more active in the fandom besides submitting art work. Im now getting more involved in trying to attend more cons and fur meets. I feel becoming my fursona will be the most natural step I could move towards.

Now the next big move will be finding a fursuit maker that would best fit the style and embody the essence of what Joshua is all about. Tigers are not the easiest of animals to make into a fursuit. I'm thinking a more friendly cartoony look would work well for Joshua.

So if anyone has any ideas or knows of a fursuit maker that would best suit my character, it be awesome to hear from you. I'm probably not able to afford one right now but if i start commissions up again, i might be able to pay one off ^_^' Joshua is itching to get out there :3

So sad coming back home after what has to be the best time I have had for a very very long time. I met so many nice furs and made a lot of friends. I only wish it never had to end cause I really wanted the time to get to know everyone I met, more better. furs are so friendly and great to finally get to just be yourself (even if i was so nervous and scared to approach many furs there.

I will definitely have to attend more cons and be more pro active in the community. it opened my eyes up to see that its not true that all furs are about is just yiff, but under their fursuits, they are decent people and so lovely to get to know. I only hope i did not offend anyone or get too creepy in always grinning at the fursuits. I just could not get over how cool it was to be dancing around with what felt like for me, actual furs.

I owe so much to the organizers that got me to go and be a part of something I can only describe as the happiest time of my whole life. I hope I can continue the friendships I have made for ever :3
