A lot of surprises, too. I wasn't sure how my jewelry would see at FWA, but lots of older pieces and some of my newer ones got good homes. I was a little disappointed only two of my ACEOs sold, but that's ok. I'll scan them all in later and put them in my etsy store.
I have a few take home works to do, so I'll post my list today or tomorrow so you'll know where you are on it.

The Goods
Small Traditional Badges - $15
These are roughly 3.5 x 2.25 inches and come with a holder and clip. Small headshot with a simple backgrounds with one to three colors.
Large Traditional Badges - $20
These are 3 x 5 inches and come with a holder and clip. Headshot with a more complicated backgrounds, like flowers or a design.
Felt Badges! - $35
YAY NEW THINGS! These are hand sewn, chibi heads with fluffy ears (or crests!) of down. I can do cotton instead of down if you are allergic. I can add simple accessories to these.
I will only be doing a limited number of these before the convention as they are time consuming to make. :]

Newness and Breast Cancer fundraising!

You might also notice I am fundraising for the Avon Foundation for Women. I am doing the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this October! I will be doing a 26 mile walk over two days and fundraising up till then for research and treatment of Breast Cancer :3
Sooo, up until the walk in October, all profit from my store and conventions (if I can attend any this year) and craft fairs will be going to the AFW. Please help support me in my walk! This is probably the biggest thing I have ever done, and I need all your cheers, support and donations <3
For those that know me in real life, yes I am training for this, so do not worry! I am not blindly hopping into a 26 mile walk, lol.

An update of sorts
Posted 14 years agoHi! I haven't been around much, I know. I work fulltime at a vet clinic now, so it doesn't leave me much time to post here. I have been working there for about eight months now, and I couldn't be happier! I am currently applying to college for 2012 fall semester as well to work towards an animal sciences degree :3
Busy busy, I know.
I have not dropped off the planet, I am just stupidly busy. I want to thank everyone who donated to my birthday charity back in May. I did indeed reach my goal of $500 towards the local SPCA! It really did make this birthday incredibly special for me, so thank you!
I will try to update more often, I just don't have a lot of time to myself anymore :]

Black Friday cake sale

Of tutorials, comics, and Iron Artist
Posted 15 years agoI have been working on a tutorial for cake charms today, so those that have requested it, look for it sometime this weekend :] It will cover basic cake charms, not rainbow ones.
Iron Artist? I have been thinking of participating in this, but I need to make sure I do it in a way I don't get overwhelmed. I tend to shut down when I get overwhelmed, and that leads to issues, obviously. Maybe sketches in batches of 5? I need to think it over this weekend, I'll have an update about that Sunday.
Comics? I have been seeing a guy who runs a local comic shop, and it has shown me how I know jack shit about comics. I read things on occasion, but usually it's independent stuff or the occasional Transformers thing. I would like some suggestions from you all. I'm not into superhero stories, I do like the movies and tv shows, but I have a terrible time reading the comics. I enjoy fantasy, stories about people (slice of life), odd ball things. I do enjoy Hellboy and have been thinking about picking up Scarlet. So throw some things out there :]

last weekend and we went to the state fair. It was super awesome :D YAY. I had fried alligator and a fried 3 Musketeers bar, both were surprisingly good. It was super crowded because it was opening weekend, but we had a good time. Pink's preggers tummy is starting to show a little, omg. Sooo excited :D
So yeah, weeee life!

Update about my hand
Posted 15 years agoTurns out I just strained it badly. Since I terribly stubborn, it's going to take a bit to heal, but nothing major is wrong. The doctor fussed at me a bit, and taught me some hand exercises to do once the pain subsides.
So yay nothing horrible! Just might be a bit before I make anything new. :3
