Vacation

I'll be staying a few extra days in Seattle so will be there from the 8-15th. During this time I won't be counting on any net access (that and will be having tons of fun roaming with Onna :D ) so letting you know why I won't be replying to notes, comments and whatnot until I get back.

Yeesh, I thought I was going to get back on track this week, but I've had both pleasant and unpleasant surprises.

Pleasant:
I'm now going to be at Animeland Wasabi this weekend and Starfest due to the generosity of two local friends. Of course that means in the next two months I'll going to 4 cons, so that's one every other week with Sakuracon and Starfest being back to back @___@ Thank goodness two are local.. but still. Busybusy!

Unpleasant:
And the main reason I haven't gotten back to commissions. As soon as I managed to hit a certain deadline.. I got/am sick. Pretty much went from relatively healthy to sick within an hour.. It sucked. At least it's after the deadline, but I'm really really hoping I can recover by the weekend so am taking it easy and it's kind of hard to be at the computer due to the dizzy spells.

So just letting you all know where I'm at!

Ugh, there's an important deadline I need to hit by the end of the week/mid next week, so I need to put off sketch commissions until then. I hate making you all wait just for a sketch but I rather need to get this done. So heads up and sorry! @__@

WHOOOOOOAAA! I don't know what happened, with all these sketch commissions I've been getting several new watchers a day, but today I log in and there's 102 new watchers! Crazy! That's way too many for me to thank you individually (I would assume you'd rather I was drawing than thanking people, as much as I'd want to do both) so here's a mass thank you all! I really appreciate it <3

So I'm hardly active on this site, mostly I just check my messages and stuff every few days, but suddenly I get a crudload of watchers? What happened? o.o;; Not that I don't appreciate more watchers but still!

Well on my end of things I just got back from ACen this past weekend, which was a blast. Ok I've recently found out that I have TMJ. My attempts to chill out and not clench my jaw so much have been a bit of a failure. Which only makes the pain worse and eating, yawning and talking is quite difficult at times.

I've been wanting to get something I can lounge around in comfortably for a while now that's not just my pjs as I definitely associate that with sleep and not neccessarily relaxation. One moment where I felt completely relaxed was at a spa I went to on my b-day. Just sitting in the waiting room in their robe was an incredibly relaxing experience. I'd like to get the robe but it's on the expensive side and I'm saving up for a Cintiq lol.

I'm alive! I swear! Just busy! So very busy..! And playing WoW.

I'm slowly (very slowly as I don't even have my tablet hooked up yet, let alone installed) getting back into the groove of things. New compy has arrived, but I'm still struggling with Vista. We'll have to see how it goes.

Hey guys. I'm in a bit of a pickle. My comp's pretty much useless and given the circumstances and timing I need a new comp fast. This really isn't a good time since I'm graduating soon and need to be working on my demo reel @__@ Which also means I've no time for commissions. I'm backlogged as is.

Also, I was wondering. Is it cruel or not to declaw cats? I've been hearing yes and no on it. In my circumstance, my 3 yr old cat's clawing is starting to become rather unmanagable and she won't let me trim them. She's a completely indoor cat as well. I would like to get her front claws declawed, but if it's a cruel thing for the animal I certainly won't do it.
