My last journal may have mentioned travel plans, and they have finally gone through.

I was able to move to Japan for teaching, and upon living here for a while it did not take long for me to continue making fursuit stuff after work. My goal was to finish making a Lucario in time for JMoF 2022, and I have succeeded in that endevor.
I now just hope that JmoF 2022 can happen amid the epidemic currently going on. If it works out, though, this will be my first fur-con! (I've been to many anime conventions, so I hope it is just as or more fun.)

I hope to meet many Japanese furries, as well as fursuit makers. I want to see how they design their lovely kemono style.

I mentioned to a couple people that I was not planning on making any more partials or doing commissions as I would be moving soon. Due to the current epidemic I have had to post-pone my travel plans till the travel ban is lifted. So I am still making some partials. If the ban is not lifted again at the end of the month (July), look forward to some new pre-made partials being posted!

Just got back from NDK 2018 this year. I was in a group skit for the cosplay contest that won the best skit performance/craftsmanship, and we are all super hyped!

I'm a couple fursuits behind on posting to this site, and once I find those pictures again, I hope to post them up.
I did Wolf Link last year, and before that Asriel Dreemur.

The classes I've been taking take up a lot of time, but I make sure I have time to craft before passing out!

SO I will be able to go to Otakon this Summer and happy about it, I've already decided my new cosplay to work on, and have been making it inbetween classes. I plan to go as Fox McCloud this year from SSBB4. I'm now looking for some fur for the head/tail/arms and it is most annoying to find a light brown.

I've already created the head, made the prop blaster, and carved out the reflector ( which is ready to be detailed than casted). I just need to get patterns for a jump suit, make some boots and than put all the fur into head/tail/arms. I've so far made everything from hand, and hope to post some pictures soon. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the blaster on this site. Saw someone in a post saying it was against the rules or something, but I'll have to see. Other than that, I'll be working on this as soon as I'm done with Spring semester!

Yay Finals~ :S

Had a great time at NDK this year! My sister and I both cosplayed Poke'mon , me as Mega Lucario and her as Braixen. We were able to attend the Poke'mon photoshoot where I got to meet  caninehybrid and a rainbow of leafeons. Later that day at the furmeet photoshoot I got to meet  Monstrohundo (whom I also met the previous day) as well. I entered the Cosplay contest for NDK and came out as First in Craftsmanship in the beginner class! Monstrohundo helped support any hydration needs, and cheer me on, and I thank him for that support as well. I'm already planning my next cosplay, and my sister seems psyched about it and we'll be doing a duo group for next years cons. As things progress with research and how best we'll try to tackle this next idea together I'll put updates up.

To everyone that was at NDK I hope you all had a wonderful time, and if you got a picture of me PLEASE let me know. Cameras are very hard to operate in full suit. :3

So, I've been really excited about this years Otakon convention. My sister and I have already got our pre-registration out of the way, hotel booked, plane tickets bought, and are now just waiting for the time to pass. I plan to go as Mega Lucario as much as I can stand walking around as him, with Animelands experience I can wear him for quite some time, which is great since I don't like the down time process. My sister is also going to go as a Poke'mon trainer from X/Y. She likes traveling around with me, so this way she'll be able to be in the photo shoots with me :3 . I hope to also see many others for Poke'mon photo shoots as well as the fur shoot again this year. Maybe I'll get to see Noahroo as well. Just a few more months!

Also, I'll be able to see my Maryland friends whom I love to play board games with!

This week I'll be moving to Colorado. I'm not all too excited, but it is what it is. This being said I will not be able to go to Katsucon as I'll be too far for it, however I'll try to still make Otakon 2014. I'm also going to post-pone the Wolf-link Cosplay, since there is a different cosplay I want to do. My sister is also getting into costuming and wants to do one with me as well. As I work on it I'll put uploads of progress!

On another note, I'm looking for conventions in the Denver-Boulder Colorado areas. I've attended Nandesukon before, but I already know that has passed by this year.

So lately I have been averaging a fursuit per a year, and making much better progress of how each one is getting better than the previous one. Last November (2012) I had made ,what I think is a good attempt, at a Red XIII costume, and for next year I'm thinking of making a Wolf link Quadsuit. I want it to be done by at least Otakon 2014, maybe as early as Katsucon 2014 if I can manage it. I've been looking around the web learning from previous suiters on what they did, and how they did it. I think I've decided to go the PVC pipe route for the front legs, I saw a really good tutorial on how to do it, they were clear in the how to do it parts, so I think I'll manage that. I've also ordered several swatches to compare colors. I'm still struggling with how to do the head still. I'm also planning to make everything by hand too, so this time I'll make my own jawset/claws rather than purchasing them.

Will try to keep posted information, and progress as I go, any guidance on the subject will be appreciated.
