Follow me on ArtFight!
Posted 7 years agoTaking a few requests
Posted 7 years agoI wanna draw some furries that aren't my own characters, hmu with some requests in the comments. Specific ideas would be nice.
This is NOT first come first serve! I pick the ones I want to do and how finished the request will be.
SFW or NSFW are okay!
Go welcome crecendork! New artist to follow!
Posted 8 years agoGo welcome my friend,
crescendork! He's got some really neat art and he's worth a follow!ALSO
I need to be more active here now that I'm drawing more again, so there's an art dump incoming. I also haven't spoken to a lot of you in a loonnnggg time! Howzit? 0: Tell me about you and your lives!
ALSO what's your favourite Pokémon? 0:
Posted 10 years agoI'm interested!
Personally for me it's a tie between Gastrodon and Cacturne. Both fabulous Pokémon that get kinda forgotten imo.
What are your favourites?
End the slaughter.
Posted 10 years agoEvery Wednesday, over 30 Ralts are killed on Route 102. The cause of this massacre? Us.
Selfish trainers slaughter innocent Pokémon in order to weed out the weak, and capture the strong for their own. What could be worse a fate than death? Betrayal.
Once caught, these Pokémon are bred and inbred to inhuman extents, only to have their false illusion of trust shattered as they are traded away to complete strangers.
End the nightmare. End Wondertrade Wednesday.
I'm also sending out a box of Mild Telepathy!Ralts on Wednesday 12th. :'D Keep an eye out if you like Wondertrade Wednesday!*
* No Ralts were harmed in preparation for Wondertrade Wednesday.
Chinese Whispers about Copyright
Posted 10 years agoA'ight so, I've seen a lot of people get their knickers in a twist over the proposed copyright laws, probably as a result of people spreading misinformation (beit intentional or otherwise), creating a Chinese Whisper effect with people not fully understanding what the law entails. So let me break it down for you.
The new laws state:
- Any creative work that is unlicensed (not protected by copyright) becomes "orphan work".
- Orphan work CAN be taken for brief use by not-for-profit organisations (as before).
- Orphan work CAN be taken for profit use IF and ONLY IF the person wishing to take the work completes a diligent search to find the original author.
- A diligent search entails browsing copyright databases, and online databases (such as deviantArt etc.) to the extent that no more can be done to trace the author. Evidence of this search MUST be provided to the copyright office BEFORE the work is used. Thanks to Google's reverse image search, most people SHOULD NOT be affected, as their profiles can be found through reverse image search.
What does this mean for us, the artists?
This means:
- We should ensure that we can be found easily through reverse image searches.
- We should ensure that we use watermarks with usernames and/or urls.
- We should generally take more care against art theft, as it will still be a crime.
- READ UP ON THE LEGISLATION! DO IT! You can find the links in
Patto's journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6901177/ - I know the report is like 150 pages long, but at least skim through. What to do if my art is stolen and I know that my profile can be easily found?
- Peacefully confront the offender. Don't send in your white knights just yet, try to work things out. Show them how easy it is to trace your work back to you.
- File a case to the Small Claims court. They're opening a new sub-branch of small claims especially for copyright infringements, so take advantage of it should you feel it necessary.
DO NOT:
- Attack or harass the offender. Don't. You'll never solve the problem that way, and you may be at risk of losing more.
- Send white knights. See above.
- Freak out. Guys. Please. Just watermark your shit reasonably and you'll be fine.
So there you go. I'll be clearing out my gallery and reuploading watermarked pieces on the assumption that this bill will pass. I suggest you do the same.
That's all for now.
A friendly reminder
Posted 10 years agoto tell a friend you love them, because life is too short to feel insignificant.

We were having an early birthday celebration and a fox came right up to the glass garden doors and stared at me until it got scared away by people staring back.

Off in the distance, a voice echoed "Good gravy, Onion Boy! An innocent civilian needs a fresh order of meaty justice!"
In a flash of microwave-wavelength light appeared the almighty Steakman and his partner in justice, Onion Boy! Disappointing Chicken, unable to fight without Mushroom Betrayal, fled the scene. Adrenaline rush, oh my god (nuzlocke finale)
Posted 10 years agoTalk about counting my blessings, I lost all three of my good dragon counters in the E4, leaving me with only Tauros, Magmar and Golem to challenge Lance with. Tauros was taken out by Gyarados' crithacks and Magmar, who made the most valiant effort to finish Gyarados off, was also slain. That left only Jura the Golem. "That's it", I thought, because there's no way a Golem could stand a 4x effective Waterfall from a Gyarados, right? Well, it just so happened that luck was on our side. Golem, after one hit, was left with a mere 8/150HP and managed to finish off - not only Gyarados - but the WHOLE of Lance's team in swift one-hit KO's from Stone Edge.
I didn't win this Nuzlocke, Golem did.
Congratulations, Golem.
I need some more test dummies!

Pokémon Card badges?
Posted 10 years agoWould there be any interest? :3c You send me the details you want on the card, and I create pretty art for it and slap it all together~ I'd probably charge in the range of $15-$20 depending on complexity.
Drop your refs here!
Posted 11 years agoFirst and foremost, I'd like to point out that these are NOT requests.
Hey all!
So, I'd like to build a database of references that I can work from when I want to test out a new technique, or just doodle when I've got idle moments. If you don't mind having your character used as a drawing dummy, then please feel free to drop a reference in the comments. c: Please be sure to put "spangly birds" in your comment so that I know you've read this, that way I know that I have some protection if people start hassling me about drawing them stuff.
You can leave as many references as you want. Heck, you could even link me to a character list if you want. Optional, but not required, is subject matter and any "don't"s you may have.
Pockmans. Fox wants to draw them.
Posted 11 years agoBring forth your Pokésonas and/or just suggest me some Pokémon.
I have an urge that must be satisfied.
Disclaimer: I will be choosing which suggestions I draw. Please don't be offended if I miss yours out. ;v;

Posted 11 years agoAfter doing a personality test with my bro and checking personality types of fictional characters, we've established that he is Light, I am L. He is Father, I am Hoenheim. He is Moriarty, I am Sherlock.
We should be spending our lives either trying to one-up each other, or trying to kill each other.
This sums up our friendship pretty well, I think.
Emperor Birds Info
Posted 11 years agoClick for Visual Info - This is old and slightly dated, but it'll do for now.
Name: Emperor Bird (the term "emperor" referring to mastery)
Gender restrictions: None - most Emperor Birds do NOT meet the gender binary, despite dimorphism between the sexes.
Appearance: Refer to the visual info above for reference.
- ALL Emperor Birds are albino at birth
- Their feathers become coloured to fit their element and environment
- A shape or object representing their element attaches itself to the large feathers on their heads.
- Tribal facepaints are common, with patterns and colours being consistent between groups.
- The Bird's beak changes depending on its diet
Societal details:
- The length of an Emperor Bird's tail plumage represents its age
- The length of the peacock-like feathers represent its social status
- Groups of Birds can range from 3 to 20. Some groups merge in the winter to preserve heat, and the groups mingle in spring to mate.
Misc.
- Emperor birds cannot fly, but they can sprint very fast for extended periods
- They can move their claws with enough force to shatter bone in a single, running blow.
- Birds develop powers based on their element, be it based on telekinesis, healing or physical strength.

ToS 2015 -:DONE:-
Posted 12 years agoALL CHANGES ACTIVE FROM DATE OF LAST UPDATE
1 - Payment of the Artist
1.1 - What I Expect from Patrons
- Prompt payment when requested.
- Payment of the correct amount, depending on payment plans.
- If the patron wishes for their piece to be printed and/or shipped, I expect the patron to pay for these services.
- Unless the patron is within the UK, I expect payment through Paypal. Snail Mail payments can be made from UK patrons.
1.15 - Payment Plans
- On pieces worth $50 or over, I will be more than happy to organise a payment plan, so that the patron can pay for their piece in bite-sized chunks over a period of time.
- Section 1.1 still applies to these 'chunks' of payment.
1.2 - What Patrons Should Expect from the Artist
- A request for payment only after showing the patron the sketch. The only exception to this rule is with wing-it commissions, where the artist is given total artistic freedom.
1.3 - Refund Policy
To ensure that the patron is happy with their art, the artist will display the sketch to the patron before continuing with the piece. At this point, the patron has three options:
1) The patron is happy with the sketch, and pays the full price of the requested piece up front.
2) The patron may request change(s) to the sketch regarding details and pose. When the patron is happy with the sketch, he/she pays the full price of the requested piece up front.
3) The patron may choose to drop out of the deal at no charge if he/she has changed their mind. This will be the patron's final chance to drop out at no charge.
After a full payment has been made, the artist will continue with the piece. The piece will be shown to the patron at regular intervals (or livestreamed if time difference allows), and the patron can request changes to colour and detail, but NOT pose at this stage.
Should the patron feel the need to drop out of the deal at any stage after payment, then the artist will refund the patron for whatever stages have not yet been started (for example: shading or background). The patron will be able to keep the piece as it is at the time that they drop out.
2 - Negotiation of Prices
The price of the piece may be negotiated, as the prices seen on the Commission Pricelist is only a guide as to how much the patron will pay.
Once the patron has sent a note to the artist with details of their commission, the artist will provide the patron with a quote as to what the artist thinks the piece is worth. If the patron disagrees with the price, or cannot pay the full amount, then he/she may negotiate with the price with the artist, until both are happy with the price.
3 - Artist's and Patron's Rights and Responsibilities
3.1 - Patron's Rights
As a patron, your rights are:
- To be able to request updates on your commission at regular intervals.
- To be treated with respect by the artist.
- To drop out of the deal at any time, however, charges may be incurred depending on the stage of the piece.
- To negotiate pricing with the artist.
- To be happy with the finished product.
- To request changes to the piece at any point (to the extent as to which the terms above allow (see "Refund Policy")).
3.2 - Artist's Rights
As an artist, my rights are:
- To be able to refuse the patron's request, should I feel that it:
1) Is out of my ability as an artist.
2) May be considered offensive or hateful to others.
3) Contains material that falls under my "I Will Not Draw" list.
- To be treated with respect by the patron.
- To be treated with patience by the patron (I have both physical and mental illnesses as well as ADHD and autism that sometimes hinder my ability to work so please be patient if I am having a flare-up. I will let you know if there will be delays to your piece.)
3.3 - Patron's Responsibilities
As a patron, you will be expected to:
- Fulfill the requirements set out in section 1.1
- Not be "difficult", and describe your request to the artist in as much detail as possible, and provide a reference for characters, places and objects is available (I can't read minds, sorry).
- Credit my work with a link back to my FurAffinity or Facebook page should you repost your commission anywhere.
3.4 - Artist's Responsibilities
As an artist, I must:
- At least attempt a request that I think may be out of my abilities.
- Act upon the commission as promptly as I can (life allowing).
- Act upon commissions in a first-come-first-serve style policy.
- Take patron's suggestions into consideration, even if they do not seem like good ideas.
- Act upon every single commission with the best of my abilities.
4 - Wills and Will Nots
4.1 - Will Nots
I reserve the right to refuse patron's requests should they:
- Be out of my abilities, at my discretion
- Contain certain fetishes that I'm uncomfortable with, namely:
- DDLG/CGL/DL, etc. including diaperfur and cub (note: young/child characters outside of fetish are fine!)
- Scat & watersports
- Hard vore (anything involving bodily harm and death)
- Dub/non-con
- Incest
If you are unsure, please ask.
4.2 - Wills
There is every chance that I will accept your request should it be:
- Anthro/feral furries
- Anthro/feral scalies, including dragons
- Anthro/feral avians
Etc.
- Pokémon
- 'Taurs & chakats
- MLP
- Pinups
- "Unusual" body shapes and sizes
- Anything not from section 4.1. C:
4.3 - Maybes
- Humans
- Hard NSFW (but it's usually okay)
- Soft vore (please ask)
5 - Request and Art Trade Policies
Art created for free requests or art trades will likely be of a poorer quality than those of commissions (paid requests), and you can expect the artist to be a lot less lenient with detail and pose changes.
Up to date as of March 2019.
Updated Wills, Will Nots and Maybes to specify fetishes that I'm uncomfortable with.
