I'm happy I'm finally creating stuff again. I mean...dang! Haven't you guys missed me a little? Welp, I'll start off with the news many of you have been expecting/waiting for/whatever for~

Welp, and I have finally decided to make our love official~ <3

How many people kinda assumed we were together already anyway? X3
Well anyway, two weeks ago, Leo came to spend Spring Break, FWA and the following week with me. And what can I say other than it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We didn't do much, didn't plan too much, but we just took the days as they came. Each was magical in their own way~ *flutters*

I'm not gonna make this a con report, but I will mention that I thought FWA was pretty great! Me and Leo had a room aaaaaall to ourselves and had this crazy-awesome view of the city (a view to which Leo held me in front of...naked...against my will to embarrass me... *blush*). But apart from Leo's love-filled meanness, we had a great time at the con. I don't know what others are saying about the hotel, but apart from the elevators, I found the Westin to be a charming hotel. We had a great time! And if none of you saw the poster that we hung on our door, you need tooooooo~ It's on twitter! X3

Leo also came back with me to school for the following week. I feel pretty bad for bringing him to class with me for one day. He was bored out of his mind...and honestly, it was a long day for all of us. But it was so great having someone to come home to every day after classes, someone to work beside and keep me calm through my work stress. Leo was amazing to have around~

One last weekend, and he was gone. And while it's still sad Leo's gone now, I can be happy for one thing: we love each other so very much. And finally! It's official~ I'm looking forward to seeing him again in June. This time...I'll be visiting him though. So look out Canada, I'll be coming soon! X3

It's been a little while. How's everyone been?
I'm just sitting here in the studio, a little bored, not wanting to work on our project. X3

So, what's up guys? How's life? =3

FINALLY!
I got to go to this thing! This was a convention I was planning on swinging for years, and it never worked out until now. It was kinda on short notice too. For those that don't know, my family all lives up in Chicago, that's where I'm from. When mom and dad wanted to plan a visit over Thanksgiving Break to go up and visit family...on the same week as MFF...DANG! I WAS IN! AND WITH A FREE RIDE TOO! XD

As normal Pryo was there to accompany me on this trip, chill at the con, and visit some family in its aftermath. Oh yeah! And he's also the reason I didn't post a journal about going beforehand. CAUSE HE WANTED TO MAKE IT ALL A SURPRISE FOR SOME FOLKS! *grumblegrumble* But what can I say? This convention was awesome! I didn't go to many events at all, didn't get much accomplished, but the people I met and the friends I got to see again totally made it awesome. Lots of people I've not seen in a looooooooong time~

Major highlight in Saturday night! <3
I got to get my groove on and get an excuse to wiggle my butt around as Rory let me jump in his husky fursuit for a couple of hours. Heheee~ That was a lot of fun! Even if all he did was tease me and be mean saying that I was stinking up his suit. *whine* Meanie! And definitely a big shoutout to all who helped me wiggle around in that suit:Foxcross, Kofu, Aura (especially fun tricking you into thinking I actually was Rory for a moment <3), Rory and Pyro of course. Too much fun, too much fun.

And after the dance on Sunday...this silly, wild and crazy temporary tattoo party thing downstairs. That was the silliest thing I've ever been involved with in quite some time. As dumb as it was, now I wanna take that idea to FWA and see how it rolls. TEMP TATTOOS! REACH IN THE BUCKET AND LET FATE DECIDE! XD

 pyrochan Right hand man as always dude. Keeping me company on the ride, at the con, and on the way back home. Keeping it real with crazy dancing and making it into the dance competitions. On your way to popufur man! XD
 Roryhusky Gosh, Rory. Even when you do nice things, you still find ways to be mean to me. Seriously though, it was a total blast getting my chance to suit, especially in a husky as cute as you. I'm flattered really, and I hope I did good. BATTERIES!
 foxcross It was awesome finally getting to meet you and getting to spend all that time with you, especially at the car show. Tagging along with our obnoxiousness (batteries, gangsta speak), not many people find it funny. Totally awesome you love it all. I look forward to being silly with you again and again!
 aurafox I just wanna squeeze you up whenever I see you. You're so sweet, so nice, always so happy to see me and talk to me...even when I'm trying to fool you as a husky. I'm glad you were there for that!
 milkboneunderwear At any given moment in the school year, you're less than a mile from me, but...I just can't get enough of your company, man. Running around the con in your suit, singing songs, getting malignant on that dancefloor. You're a bucket full of energy.
 joeysparkz It'd been a long time since I'd seen you...and dang! It was so nice seeing you again! You're such a sweetheart, bursting full of love and snuggles. How can someone not feel wonderful around you? I miss you~
 sablewolph Thanks for throwing money at me and being, "MAKE ME A BADGE!" It's nice to know I'm in such hiiigh demand! But gosh! I'm sad we didn't get to hang out more, but...we certainly did make the most of it. It was wonderful getting to see you again, and I hope we can drag you out here again one of these days.
 pilot Dude...the night you dragged me out to dinner...CRAZY! You and your friends, you guys are the wildest group of dudes I've ever been around. And all the pizza we got, and the freebee from the guy sitting behind us. Dancing on top of the car! AWESOME! And Sunday, running up and down, looking for Darius. How do you keep making silly memories at my con experiences?
 darius-kei After all these years, after YC and everything, we finally meet. What can I say? You're a blast to talk to and spend time with. I wish we'd hung out more, but here's to future conventions!
 gckami It was a pleasure getting to meet you finally, after such awesome talks online. I only really got to spend time with you on Friday, but I'm glad I got to. Try not to be so nervous in the future. Let loose and have fun! People love you!

WITH HOT AIR BALLOONS AND AMAZINGNESS! =3

So, start off today around lunch time, had just gotten back from work, and we had no idea how we were going to spend our day. He tosses up this idea to visit a friend of his who was volunteering at this Harvest Balloon Festival down the road a little. "Better than nothing, right?" So we take a drive there. So this festival had a lot going on, literally thousands of people there, the center of attention being several hot air balloons that were to be the main attraction later that night. So, we meet up with his friend there. And it turns out, he knew one of the families there who owned one of the balloons. And just like that, me and Danny got swept into helping them out.

So we unload this hot air balloon's basket...and soon enough, we find ourselves running tethers and a bigass deflated balloon out and holding it open as the blew air into this thing...thousands of people watching us, thousands of people waiting on the centerpiece of this festival. It was crazy! We blew it up with gas and slowly, slowly, slowly, the balloon rose. And then what? They ask us to help them out by crewing rides on this thing, helping hold it down as charity groups cycled through rides and stuff. So we spent the next three hours there, helping them with rides. Totally fun! I swear, jumping on that balloon as it came down! I felt like such a pro directing people and stuff. Haha! XD

And when all was done and done, who got to go on a ride? WE DID! AWWW! It was so awesome~ Then we deflated it, packed it all back up, and then we got treated to dinner at Chili's afterwards as a big "thank you" for our help. Who could ask for a better day? AND TOTALLY UNEXPECTED TOO! <333

I got my first car today after checking out dealerships for forever!
It was a long and difficult process that started a week ago. Generally, I wanted a new, sporty hatchback. I loved the style of them so much in recent years. So with that in mind, over the past week I took some serious looks into the Chevy Sonic, the Ford Focus...and even considered the new 2013 Dodge Dart that's just hitting dealership lots.

Of these, I fell in love with the Focus. A pewter-colored hatchback model, looking sporty as heck. BUT...in the end, we took a drive into a Kia dealership...just for the pure heck of it. There, my mom pointed out a vibrant blue Kia Forte hatchback. To be honest, at first I wasn't too thrilled by it. It's looks were a little more subtle, the blue was...rather bright to me. But...when I took it for a test drive, when I saw all the options it had crammed into it, how smooth the ride was compared to the others, how it felt, aaaaall that stuff...and...I was sold right then and there. In the end, it was only about a thousand more than the Focus after negotiations, and boy, was it worth it. SOOOO much more than the Focus I was looking at for just a tick more.

Hiya, everyone! Long time no see! ^^

Welp, I'm coming at you from about one month into my summer break from UGA. This past semester went quite well, being my first in the graphic design department. I blew through the semester with an A- in my illustration course, an A in electronic design, a B+ in typography, and an A- in my boroque art history course. Felt like I spent the whole semester in the studio, but it wasn't too shabby, hmm? ^^

Summer's in now, and I'm starting a little weekend job to pay for the apartment over the summer. Other than that, I'm gonna get back into my drawings so I can spread the cuteness back to FA. I've been doodling a little bit, and I don't think it'll be long before I decide to finish one.

In a time when people are adopting ponysonas like crazy, I'm doing the opposite. I was talking among a couple of my friends, and I decided to move Tyco up from "character" status up to my official pokesona. Haha! So, given that, I'm just gonna drop his character name, and just let him adopt Zip as a name alongside the fox we all know. I find it silly to go by two names among different groups of friends. So...if Tyco's here to stay...then he might as well be official and take on my common nickname too. Zip the fox...Zip the raichu. Makes things easy for me and my friends. XD

Yaaaaay! It's my birthday today! The big 2-1! X3

Not much plans...except for school. Unfortunately, finals are coming and schoolwork needs to be done. But even still, I intend to enjoy this day. My parents are gonna come down and take me out to dinner, aaaall before I get back to working. Lame!

I'm kinda sitting here, laying awake...sleep not coming...

But, I've been thinking about what April is to me. Two main things, really...
Okay, my birthday for one. That's a given. It's on the 25th. What else describes that other than friends and family scrambling around to make plans, get gifts, yadda yadda? But in recent years, my birthday's kinda transformed into just another day. I find no need in anything more than taking a couple friends and having a toast at our favorite restaurant. This year (my 21st) will be a little different in that respect, but the same idea, really.

The other has always stemmed off of one of my biggest obsessions. Those of you who've known me for years or have been talking to me recently over this month, know of my huge obsession with ships. Unhealthy almost. But my obsession with cars, planes, and ships came from me as a child. I always loved history. My knowledge of ships, new and old, has branched out over the years, but it all started with one certain special ship...

It started when I was in kindergarten, swooping into the book fair in the library. I picked up a little book called "Finding the Titanic." And that's where it began. Of course, starting with one of the most well-known ships of all time, it was an easy way to get hooked. From then on, I researched and researched, buying book upon book, watching documentary after documentary. It was what I enjoyed, what I thought was fun. To everyone, I was the Titanic nerd. In high school, I'd throw up daily facts about it all through April. I celebrated March 31st (keel laid), I celebrated May 31st (launch day), I celebrated April 10th (departure), and held private moments of silence on April 14/15th (sinking - the respected times of 11:40pm and 2:20am). Titanic just holds a certain place in my mind, in my heart, I suppose. It was my very first interest, the reason why I started drawing in the first place. I have mountains of books, documentaries recorded on hundreds of tapes. a true "Titanic Fanatic."

Early this past morning, April 15th, marked the 100th anniversary of the sinking of that great ship and the deaths of all who perished on her that night. They were all in my thoughts. I went to the Titanic exhibit in Atlantic Station and spent many hours there wondering what stories those items could tell. I wouldn't have wanted to spend the day in any other fashion.

So, like it's totally planned by my school, spring break comes the week just before FWA. It's so much fun having a week off, then to cap it off with an awesome convention with awesome people. So here goes...


just like last year, was visiting me for all spring break, starting the weekend before FWA. I'll spare the details, but GOSH, did we have fun! We hung out with friends, went hiking at Amicalola Falls State Park, basically kept ourselves moving. Like...halfway through the week, Leo and I were actually wanting to take a break from all the moving. But y'know...I'll say this here where everyone can read it, but I had the best time with Leo around. We grew a lot closer, closer than ever before. And even though he makes me feel terrible by buying me all sorts of stuff and paying for my food, I can't fuss at him for trying to show how much he cares about me. ^^;

FWA itself was a total blast! Friday, Saturday, Sunday! The whole deal, nothing but fun! Sure, none of us went to any events, but...we had so much fun hanging out with friends, common! I got connected with so many local furs here in the Athens area too...even another one that was smack in the art school with me (who I knew as an acquaintance) who I didn't know was a furry too. THAT was one of the funniest moments of the convention; the biggest WTF moments. XD

I'll remember this FWA for being completely chill and fun. Hangouts in the day, drinking games in the evening (don't hate me! X3), and engaging conversation and silliness at night. Silly Aura even grabbed me into the dance with him our last night there. I couldn't have asked for a better FWA. Thanks to everyone who made it wonderful. ^^
