Not much going on outside of work right now. Its leaving me very little tine for amything else. I am making progress on my various projects but its snails pace. This is normally when I end up starting a new project so my current ones don't suffer from the hit and miss schedule. That is also the leading cause in me starting things I know I wont finish.

So im limiting myself to sketches and such, nothing big until work slows down and I can get back to my good stuff. Never one to miss a chance to challenge myself I think I would like to try sketching new stuff. That being said, if anyone has something they would be interested in seeing from me in a sketch speak up and you just might see it. No subject is off limits but keep in mind it is at my whim if any suggestions get done.

Somehow I have manage to survive another year. Twenty-nine as of today, weeee! My plans for this occasion, nothing. I'm going to work and doing my normal thing. Why? Because that's why.

A little over a month ago I was fortunate enough to get myself a new job. It was a slight cut in pay but I am no longer having to spend five weeks or more at a time away from home and only come home for a few days in between. It has helped me immensely and no longer having the need to eat on the road 24/7 the drop in food cost more than makes up for the cut in pay.

This transition has helped me greatly and it just got better, my wife just got a new job herself yesterday. An increase in pay with more hours that are actually steady and the same five days a week. She is very happy.

No really go ahead, I've been wanting to do one of these for while. Not many people watch me but for those who want to ask something, please feel free to ask anything. I'm a very friendly and open person but I usually just sit quietly if not approached first.

I had my alarm set for 6am, ready to wake up and get rolling on a nice easy job. But that isnt quite what happened. I slept really good last night, woke up around 3am, looked at my phone to check the time and went back to sleep. Them at about 5:30 I awoke to the gentle relaxing sound of a tornado siren. I went inside the truck stop to check the local weather report. The entire area was under a tornado watch but according to the news it was incredibly unlikely to have one, apparently whover sets off the sirens disagreed. So I pre-triped my truck and got rolling. Fun times, fun times.

I've been on this site for a little over eight years now. During that time I have met many wonderful people and have enjoyed watching their work. Many of the people on my watchlist were already great artists from day one. Others I have watch grow and progress to the point they are now. Nobody on my watchlist is there just because. Everyone is either someone I enjoy speaking with, who's art I have an interest in or someone I saw potential in and wanted to watch as they grew and changed.

Because of this my watchlist has always been very very very large. This has never bothered me. But today I made an effort to remove a lot of the oddball things in my gallery that had no basis on my own art and this lead me to look at my watchlist. I have started today going through my list one by one. I had almost 900 people on it to start. Many of the people who were my friends and artists of interest have been gone from this site for years. I have begun removing anybody who has had no recent activity.

To anybody who I remove over the next few days I would like to say, it truly is nothing personal. I didn't watch you by accident, I watched you because you drew my interest and I wanted to see more. I would still like to see more and will watch you again if you start posting again.

I've been putting off doing this for some time now. I truly would like to see these people come back and post more and that has caused me to procrastinate. All while I still find new people who's work I want to follow.

We will get the negative out of the way first. My uncle who was a veteran of two tours in Vietnam passed away the Monday before Easter. Being catholic they held off on the funeral till this last Friday. The service was nice. He could have chose to be buried in the National Cemetery but instead was buried near family. I will miss him greatly, he was a constant reminder of how life is supposed to be.

My work has been trying at best. They almost made me miss my uncles funeral and have not been getting me the miles I am supposed to be running. If this continues I will have no choice but to seek alternate employment.

But not all has been bad. I am working on my PMD story. Chapter two will be a bit different than the first as it is Gauner's transition from wild to guild pokémon. I have also been working a lot on wierd random aspects of the world which have no effect on the current chapter but I want to have documented before I get too far along. Basically I have a lot of characters and settings already developed but haven't actually put them to paper yet. Need to do that before I forget.

I've been working a lot more on my PMD story the last couple weeks or so. I think it's coming along pretty good. The original draft I posted here was just under 4,500 words. My current file is just under 11,000. I've added a lot of story and smoothed out much of what was already in place. I can't take credit alone for the progress, the wonderful has provided me with a lot of great input, I'm very grateful for him sharing his willingness to share his knowledge and advise.

At this point I have one more scene to write and I think it will be ready for a final look over and posting. Yay!

So day before I'm supposed to be home and I just lost the power steering pump in my truck. Those aren't required in a 72 foot long 80,000lb vehicle right? I'm in Los Angeles so I'm sure I wont have to deal with any tight manuvers or anything right?

The kicker is this is a very new truck. It's just now due for its first oil change.

Not much going on, realized I hadn't updated this in forever so yeah. Working on my PMD story again will hopefully have chapter one ready to post at least a wip update soon.

Came back to work, first truck I was issued broke down on the second load I hauled. Replacement truck has been nothing but trouble for over a month. It finally broke, now I'm heading back to get another. Hope I have better luck with truck number 3.

Well, I'm off work for 3 months due to some health issues. Hopefully I don't go crazy(er).

So my old codriver decided to become a trainer and left me solo. My company found me a new one who promptly hit a rock with my truck and then moved to a different one after less than one day. They found me another one that never answered his phone. So finally I got one that's staying but he is driving me bat shit crazy. He accelerates and brakes aggressively rolling me all over when I'm trying to sleep. He keeps asking me the same questions over and over and doesn't seem to be putting any effort into learning the answers. I told him what to do as I started typing this journal and he just asked me again. I'm normally fairly patient when someone is learning a new system but this is ridiculous. I honestly don't know how much more of this I can take.

didn't get to wiegh on Monday like I wanted to. wieghed in today at 254.6, starting to see some progress.

 SammyMutt requested some help with a diet support team, http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5176113/ I instantly thought it would be nice to not be fat anymore so why not. Starting today I am cutting out all fast food, soda, candy etc. Will do my best to eat healthy and exersise. As an OTR trucker I know this is not going to be easy. I will post updates here weekly. My ideal wieght is what I was I'm boot camp, 186lbs.

So my original work truck was a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia, it started off good but quickly developed some nasty engine and drivetrain problems. I have been suffering along with it for almost a year. Last month the power steering pump went out. Fighting a 70 foot long 80,000 monster into a parking stall backwards is no fun without power steering. So my company finally said they would take my truck into the shop and issue me a new one. What I didn't realize was when they said new they were serious. New truck is a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia and when I picked it up it had 10 miles on the odometer. Much better than the 350,000 the old one had.

As part of my job I now don't have a permanent home and instead randomly travel about the USA.

Got my hard cdl in the mail today! Don't have to carry that stupid paper license anymore.

Getting on a bus for Dallas at 6am... so not looking forward to that ride.
