Little update to everyone where I've been since thanksgiving

So the week after thanksgiving I had to do all the errands and chores for my family leading up to my moms surgery, (which was the week after thanksgiving). She needed to get minor invasive stuff done on her shoulder/arm to help it heal from her car accident. The week of her surgery I had just gotten over an ear infection. but that seemed to digivolve into a sinus infection, as I couldn't go with her her for her surgery. Her recovery is going good but while taking care of her I have no free time to myself as she cant really do much on her own til the stitches are taken out next week. and lastly 2 days ago I slipped on the ice and basically fucked up my whole body cause my sister is the worst and I hate her so fucking much.

But I'm doing okay now, sorry to vent I just this has been such a cartoonishly bad month that I felt like I had no outlet for all these emotions, thank you all. I'm Sorry

I'm Posting this as the new rules for all Commissions going forward, whether you comm me through paypal, or patreon all these rules will apply.

1. You must be 18+ to commission me
2. All characters in the commission must be 18+ and must be okay with being in the piece
3. Small fee for alts.
4. Payment is made through paypal.

Howdies, If you don't wanna be cursed with the knowledge of drama, and hearing me vent just read the a last sentence <3

There has been something I've been wanting to get off my chest, I know I probably shouldn't do this but I've really have had enough of keeping all this negativity in me.

I've have been burned by too many commissioners, while also being just straight up lied to and manipulated by said commissioners out of either my hard earned money or for them to lie behind my back to my over something as silly as an inflation comm. I know I shouldn't get worked up over the smallest of details, after all they are just small bumps in the road in the grand scheme of an artist career. but I also can feel the negative experiences growing more and more inside me making me more and more a bitter person. I know I, myself have not always been a perfect person, but also being mistreated as I have I just feel as though I'm just less than nothing.

I once lost a pretty large lump sum of money from a commissioner cause they wanted a full refund, they even made up some story about needing to pay off an enormous medical bill that popped up, I relented and gave them the money believing them, the sum of which equaled to an animation and a 2 part sequence both of which were partly done and in either line art or coloring. I then found out they auto bought 2 animations from another artist summing to over eight hundred dollars total.

Another time I tried to reach out to a commissioner several times to find a good time to chat, yet when I finally said frick it and sent them a few sketches, that's when I found out they blocked me, on everything, after they ghosted me for 3 months. I still finished their commission but honestly I still feel pretty hurt, even after reaching out through discord servers, and my old fa account they still never tried to reach out. When several mutual friends reached out for me, the commissioner lied and made up an excuse that I ghosted them (EVEN THOUGH I AHD SCREENSHOTS SHOWING THEM GHOSTING ME). Even after I finished their comm and threw in a free alt in hopes to patch things up they still have yet to reply.

Lastly is the one that hurts the most. I had been friends with someone for well over 2 years, I stuck by their side through thick and thin always reaching out, always helping them through their turmoil's and doing everything I could to make them happy. But out of nowhere they removed me on discord, disabled their fa, and erased any sign that we were friends. When I had managed to get a word in with them they just said that It had meant nothing that we were done. then a few days later they reenabled their fa and acted like we had never met.

I'm sorry for the vent post but I felt like I had to this, holding on to these negative emotions while they get off scott free, allowed to do whatever they please. And who knows maybe after we can hash things out with them and we can mutually resolve this but hey they probs will never see this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Howdy Ya'll and Happy New Years ^^

Just uploaded my yearly review piece as well as looked over all my posts this year and I gotta say, my emotions are mixed.
I can tell my art has greatly improved this year, as well as my fundamentals of backgrounds and sequences, as well as the funni shapes.~
Though I feel like I also produced far less art then I'd imagined, as well as feeling very bleh all year with the constant roller coaster of things thrown at me.
I know I have been a pretty bad artist this year, with communicating updates and finding time to work.

So as my new years trend, starting 2024 I will be using journals more for updates on comms, bettering my communications to everyone.
(Think of it as a weekly comms update to tell everyone where their progress is and to be totally transparent with all you lovely followers and a lil planner to help get me rolling).

Howdy's sorry for the absents of post as well as the lack of communications, this journal is a summary, vent, update idk.

I got burnt out real bad, the reason for was an amalgamation of several events that took place all year long. This isn't a pity party, or an excuse for me. It's just an inner perspective of shit.

Money, My money situation is fine, but to be honest I have lost in total over $1300 in commissions and contract work this year alone.

Mental, I've had constant slander against me, people saying awful shit behind my back. It's not fair man, I try hard to do everything I can right only for people to lie about me and make my friends second guess me. I watched in real time as someone lied to my friends face in order to slander my name, claiming I ghosted them on commissions (which I have finish and posted btw). In truth they never responded to any of my dm's for 4 month's, then block me on all socials. Then I work through that and keep trying to chug along only to get four negative comments in the same day. (I'm not joking). On top of all that, someone whom I thought was my friend dm'd me slandering my best friend, having a rant and rave against them making up all these things calling them horrible manipulative and just out right hateful. I stick up to them only to find out the real reason they were mad at my best friend was cause they said no to their commission.

I could keep going but I don't want to be negative, I can't stand being sad around other people. I genuinely feel pain when others get sad. I feel awful evening writing this much, but I just want to inform people.

A lot of good people have helped me through this year. A tremendous amount of positive, warm hearted friends. If it wasn't for them I would have quit art all together, but I think I got this, just need to move one step at a time.
