It's been a while!
Posted 3 years agoI don't post here much; my main social media online has been Twitter, and well, since that's been on the ropes, I figured I'd update my presence here a little bit so people can find me more easily.
I'm not an artist but I do appreciate all of you, and although I mainly follow artists on Twitter I'll definitely be spending a lot more time here if it goes down. Hopefully that won't be necessary. :)

Megaplex was awesome!
Posted 11 years agoWoo, Megaplex! That was an awesome weekend. Tons of non-stop partying, silliness, and crazy often-drunken fun had by all.
I think my only complaint is that the pool party was moved inside because of the "threat" of rain. My friends and I were at the pool anyway. And so was everyone else. And not a drop fell. C'mon, weenies, it's just rain.
I'm back at work today. I thought I'd need an extra day to recover but I'm feeling great and dealing with broken YUM issues. Yum.

FWA and other cons this year
Posted 11 years agoSo yeah, I'll be at FWA. \o/ Looking forward to seeing folks there!
As for other cons, I'm definitely making Megaplex.
The con that may change this year is Midwest Furfest. I do love MFF, I love all of you who go there, but the date change has made it very difficult to attend. Also, because of the date change some people who I love seeing at MFF can't make it either, so I'm putting my efforts and money into going to another con.
Rainfurest? Maybe. Friends have expressed interest in going but I'm not sure yet.
Of course I'll be at Furloween and any of the Orlando-area Elliotts gatherings. And that other party too.
I may do BronyCon if the cards fall right. The drama that has kept me away has simmered down a bit, and there's a ton of people who go who I haven't seen in forever.
I've scaled back a bit on cons this year; trying to free up time and money to do some other trips I wanted to do instead. Hell, the only reason I'll be at FWA is because I managed to find a dirt cheap flight, and my friend had space open up in his room. :)

The main reason I'm going is that the new South Florida Bronies group is having a meetup there, and I want to get to know more pony fans in the area. HOWEVER this looks like a general anime/comic/scifi con, so I thought I'd put this out there in case any locals want to come too.
And there's nothing wrong with a little fandom mixing, ya know ;)
I should be there around noon, wearing my Derpy T-shirt. Whee!

A bit sad, too, since it's the first FWA I miss since I started going back in 2008. Sadly work scheduling screwed up my ability to go.
I will miss you all, though. My next few events:
- Elliott's Spring Gathering May 4-6
- Anthrocon June 14-18
- Bronycon June 30-July 1
- MLP Fair July 7-8 (Maybe, depends on if a friend goes)
- Megaplex July 26-30
So yeah, have fun at FWA, those who are going!

Margaritas, Long Islands, and other fruity drinks. I also like good beer but not in large quantities.
Can I commission you?
Umm, sure. I can't draw, though, so good luck with that.
What events will you be attending?
I'm going to the Bucca Di Beppo dinner Thursday night (it's tradition!), a pony-party on Friday, but other than that I haven't made any plans. Cons are best off the cuff. I do try to make 2 and Kage and the fursuit parade, but they can be preempted for other awesome stuff if needed. ;)
Can I hug you?
Sure, but if I don't know you, at least say hi first. :)
How tall are you?
About 6'5"
How long are you going?
Arriving Thursday mid-day, leaving Monday evening.
Do you like parties?
I might be helping put one on, so I *hope* so!
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
"Hey you!!!" will work. Also "Yo Zorin!" works too. Random loud noises can also get my attention, as can explosions, fireworks and gunfire. I don't recommend those last three though because they're against hotel and DLCC policy.

I wish everyone I know weren't scattered all over the place... So many of you I only get to see on my various trips to cons and meetups. Some people manage to have all their good friends in one place; I often envy them. I guess it's the nature of technology that causes people to build friendships with people so far apart.
Lots of trips and a few cons coming up, though, so I'll be seeing many of you at Elliott's, Anthrocon, and Megaplex. This summer is going to be awesome. :) <3
Anyway, just had to say it. Because I'm sometimes guilty of not saying it often enough.

I've neglected FA. I'm so sorry, but life gets busy and stuff happens. My "main" journaling site is LJ and always will be; I try to get to FA when I can.
I will be at FWA; feel free to reply or shout out if you will be as well. I can't wait, FWA, MFF and AC are my favorite times of year. Christmas doesn't hold a candle to them!
