So much has happened in the last few months. O.O

Hey guys.
So this is just a journal to let you all know whats been going on in my life for the last few months.
Talk about a busy time, this is gonna take quite a bit of typing. >w>
Okay so staring from the beginning about mid November last year.
I was getting pains in my lower right intestines, dizziness and nausea and went to go see my usual doctor, thinking it might be something really bad like my appendix or bad stomach bug going around.
So after being very unprofessionally and hastily diagnosed with constipation I left the doctor feeling very worried and unsure.
I immediately went to my husband who was still at work and thanks to his boss being so awesome we went to go see another doctor for a second opinion.
She had a blood test done within an hour and told me I was pregnant...
Blew my bloody mind, I had to ask her 3 times if it was a chance of me being pregnant or if it was a sure thing. xD
We had been trying for a few years and no luck and when we where about to give up, BOOM, Grats you're preggers! lol
Also turns out the prescription the previous doc gave me for my "constipation" was not pregnancy safe.
Yeah, I'll never be going to her again and now all my hubby says about her is "well let her know the constipation came out 9 months later" :P
But god I will tell you, I have never experience fatigue like this in my entire life. xD (from 2 - 5 months and now its starting again)
So a few weeks later I'm in a parking space next to the road, close to home and a guy reverses out of his drive way across 3 lanes and into my car with his massive ass 4x4 bakkie, what the fuck bro...
His excuse. "oh the dogs might run out so he has to get out fast..." , that's no excuse not to look in your bloody rear view mirror.. UGGG!!!... -_-
Later that week I also get the news from my mom, she is divorcing her husband after about 13-ish years... its not pretty.... the guy is sneaky and trying to screw her over big time.
Lets just say he use to be my dads "best friend" and was also married at the time, not gonna go to much into it, but yeah, he gives me the creeps.
A few more weeks go by and we get home one night, we barley pull the car in and notice the front tap is gone...
While we where out that evening someone jumped over the wall and gate and stole all the copper pipes at the front and back of the house...
What the fuck man... so Hubby calls insurance and the next day we have water back for at least the things that have pipes in the walls. (the bathroom and kitchen, thank god)
A week later insurance show up to replace the pipes at the back, that very evening we hear something clatter around the house and eventually we realize "Holy Fuck, there is someone on the roof!"
Habby checks the roof and the fucker (same guy probably) is on the bloody roof at 3:30 in the morning, trying to get to the copper pipes attached to the Solar geyser!!!!!
Hubby yells at him and the chicken shit runs off at the back of the house and over the back neighbors property to get away. What the hell man!!
He didn't get away with any pipes but he did loosen some and the geyser pisses it's water out, all 200 letters of it... /sigh -_- (not good since we where at Level 3 water restrictions)
We had to wait for the cops to show up again... and report it, oh lordie.
Not even 2 days later and I'm using the bathroom at 1:30 in the morning (because bladder is getting smaller now) and as I flush the water flows for a few seconds and stops... Oh you have to be kidding me! O_O
I yell at my hubby and we set the alarm off the give the asshole a fright.
As ADT (armed responses) arrive we check the front yard and YIP! The guy turned the water off to try and steal the pipes again.
By this point we are both beyond paranoid and we decide to have the wall made higher so he can't get on to the roof as easily anymore (which wasn't cheap... bye bye savings money -_- ) and have two lights with sensor's set up at the front to go on whenever they detect movement.
We where planing to have the walls made higher regardless, but this forced us to do it sooner.
We haven't had a incident since... but we where paranoid with every little noise and bump sound in the house and only now about 3+ months later are we finally starting to sleep okay again. ;_;
In other news, the countries currency has been set to junk by 2 of the world banks and just above junk by the 3rd bank... ugg... Great! Thanks unwanted useless president of corruption and other illegal activities, you prove once again you don't give a shit about your people!
Oh! Also with mom's news, my grandma was on the way down hill with really bad altimeters... she finally passed away 2 weeks ago, I am not religious myself, but I hope she is at peace now.
She always smelled of old lady and cookies/baking goods and I didn't get to see her much because how far we live apart. But hell, I loved her so much.
She was the sweetest lady that raised 7 kids alone for the longest time before she met my step grandpa. He died about 2 years ago and was the sweetest man ever!
I loved them both to bits and always will.
At the end of this month my part of the country will be at the first ever Level 4 water restrictions! (At least for the western Cape that I am aware of)
The last 10% of the water in our dams are not safe for human consumption, so what do the do? Start stricter water restrictions at 50%, 40%.... surely 30% right?
NOPE! They leave it till 11.4% to15%!!!!! Wow.... did you just think the rain was gonna come and save all your asses?
Fuck...By no means are we the most water or electricity conscious people, but be pay a fraction of what others pay for electricity and we already use so little water that we don't even have to pay a water bill at the end of every month. (you get 5000 letters free before they start charging you)
Now we have bricks in the toilet ( xD ) to have it use less water and we are looking into recycling bath tub water to use for flushing and a few other things. (at the least!!!)
People are so bloody wasteful it blows my mind!
If there is one thing I can not stand its ignorant and selfish people.
But luckily everything is going alright with the creature!
I'm 7 months pregnant now and this is the only thing not allowed to go wrong!!!!
I am due for mid-end July, this will be my first and only kid, so I hope all goes well... I'm terrified. |D
I am so very very grateful that my country is not at war and that I at least have a job and no food shortages on the shops.
With what's happening around the work and how global warming is fucking up everything due to pollution I know things could be much much worse.
Yes things have been quite shitty and will probably get worse, but I still thank my lucky stars for what is good in my life.
I hope where ever you guys are you are having it better than me and are still grateful for what is good in your lives! =)
P.S. Still waiting on insurance for car fixing. lol
[Edit] Oh! and we have a rat underneath the floorboards that we cant get out, he got stuck down there somehow. |D
And I have a cold, but I can not use any good meds because I am pregnant. xD

To claim a slot you need to understand and agree to the following. (Don't worry, it's not that scary)

So much for working late all week, now I have to work the weekend as well... T_T

Oh well... deadlines have to be made orells my ass is out on the street without a job. :B

This heat is unbearable and its been going for weeks.
If weather predictions stay true, we will have some relief from this blazing heat coming this weekend.
We were planing on buying a small air-con, but then my husband needed an unexpected operation.
Not to mention that the year has barely begun and work is already needing me to work over time.
So far this year sucks...
I apologize for my slow output of art, but my free time at the moment is very scarce.
Tell me about the weather you guys are having.
I wanna hear about snow and rain and cold fronts. xD
I miss winter so much.

... It hits proper!
The last two weeks have been quite a roller coaster for me.
I had holiday booked to work on commissions and my husband had the same time booked off for some extra together time.
Only to have work tell me they need me for that time due to an urgent project.
So I had to cancel my time off and work over time plus weekends, leaving me no time for any commissions... so tired. xD
But then around the same time I noticed my kitty cat was very thin, much thinner than he's ever been.
He is all long fluff, so when I picked him up he vert even worse. All skin and bone.
We took him to the vet, luckily it seems like nothing to dire, but he did have a fever so the doc put him on some meds.
Poor things hates pills, but there is no other way, plus got him some special food.
So hopefully hell be doing better soon.
Keeping a close eye on him.
Then finally got some time to work on commissions.... when my pc crashed and the file goes corrupted.
Causing me to lose everything from after the sketching, so inking, flat colours and shading gone... Oh god why ;_;
So now back to inking... hate losing work... oh well.
How are you guys doing? xD
Much better than me I hope. =)

I looked at every single one and you guys have so many fantastic characters.
It was really hard to pick. xD
For now I've piked 3.
They are:

These will take some weeks, since I'll be doing them in my spare time. :3
Buuuuut if I finish theses soon enough I'll do another 3!

I’m looking for some fursonas or characters to make some Halloween chibies! :D
The rules are:
I WILL PICK two characters (for now) and they will be turned into a Halloween monsters of my choice.
It will be Wingits, so no reviews.
I will work on these when I need to relax and have a break.
So there is no telling how long these will take, or when they will be done.
SO!!! If you are okay with this and still interested please leave a comment with a link to the ref-sheet or art of the character you would like to enter.
You can enter up to 2 characters if you like.
BUT only one ref link per character, please.

As if the running blackouts for load shedding wasn't bad enough, now there is more than a 50% chance that the country could go into a black out.
Total electricity grid collapse!
Oh dear lord it just keeps getting worse.
If that were to happen that would mean no power for anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks!!!
That is just crazy! O_O
What the F are people going to do?
To say I am a bit scared is an under statement.

My hubby and I are stocking up on canned foods and will be getting a gas stove soon.

Luckily we have a solar geyser, hot water every now and then.
But who is to say we will even have water.
This is a very scary probability for us right now.
But I am remaining positively naive in hopes that the worst doesn't happen.

Well it's been a long day at work, finally got home at just before 7pm.
Making some dinner with hubby and then gonna get ma drawing on.
...oh wait...
Would ya look at that... my section of town is losing power from 8 til 10:30 pm...
Well there goes any hope of me getting any drawing done tonight.
Its been like this for the last 6 months.
These power outs are really starting to work on my last nerve...

Paypal drama... [Commisioners please read]
Posted 10 years agoSo there is all this drama about the new Paypal ToS and AUP.
If you are dealing in any sexual content you will be in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy.
Which means you will be fined $2,500 USD from 1 July.
So after reading up some more PayPal Acceptable Use Policy and finding the *certain sexually oriented materials or services* , I had a mini heart failure.
Digital Goods – PayPal prohibits all account holders from buying or selling sexually oriented digital goods, including downloadable pictures or videos, subscriptions to websites, or other content delivered through a digital medium.
So basically I cannot use Paypal for any adult related content any more...
Excuse my french, but well... fuck. =_=
I might have to put commissions on pause.
I don't know what to do now.
I live in South Africa and the country has a real plug up its butt for making it extra hard if you are being paid by people in foreign countries.
On top of all of that I'm still fighting with the only local bank here that "supports" Paypal to get my money out of it some how and its been like 6 months. *cough-monopoly-cough*
So as of now I can only use Paypal for PG content.
But what ells is there I can use?
Any services like Paypal that will be assessable in my country?
Or can one pay someone straight from a foreign bank to my local bank?

Posted 10 years agoThe past month has been quite busy for me, work work and home cores and sick twice, leaving me with less time to draw than usual.
And work isn't about to make it any easier for me, hopefully I wont have to put in to many late nights this week. (Wish me luck)
Any-hoot, currently busy with part 2 for commissioner No.1
Thank you folks for being so patient with me.
If for what ever reason you get frustrated with waiting you are welcome to retract your commission.
I fully understand and it will not have any impact on if you wish to commission me on a future date.
Though I do think 10 was a bit crazy for me, think I'll do commissions in much smaller amounts from now on, like 2-3 max at a time.
For the rest of you that are cool with when I eventually get to yours, thanks a bunch. xD

Alrighty! So 5 Spots are taken and I am opening another 5 to the first people that request one from this point on.
I have the right to refuse if I feel I'm not capable of doing your idea justice or if I am uncomfortable with your request.
So just to let everyone know.
I have a full time job and spend many hours in the traffic to get to said job and home.
That plus with the usual life stuff it leaves me with very VERY little time for drawing.
A commission can take me up to 2 weeks depending on how busy I am.
So if you are 10th in the queue it can take a long time before I get to yours sadly.
So with that said and if you do not mind waiting so long, go ahead and place your "order" so to speak. xD
Oh lordy what am I doing to myself, 10 is a lot. Think I'll do it in batches of 2-3 next time. X_x

A MASIVE THANK YOU to every one of you guys that gave me a watch, fav or a comment.
For the first time ever I am excited about posting stuff.
It really means more to me than I can ever express. Thank you so much!
I have met some amazing people here and made some friends. \:D/
But I have also upset some folks.
Like I mentioned, I am very socially awkward and shy to new people.
When some folks tried to talk to me I didn’t know how to respond and made an ass of myself.
