In other news, slowly getting over my art block. I'm able to work on some personal art, reviving old characters and such. I'm trying to work here and there on owed stuff, but it's touch and go owo I'll get it done tho xD I do believe most of it is free sketches anyways, so thankfully I don't have to rush on those xD

So last night I was feeling pretty bad for some reason, I don't know why. I just felt...really weird, like my head was fuzzy or I was lost in a haze. I figured I was just tired, so I got some sleep in hopes that it'd help (didn't sleep that well tho) but it just...didn't work.

So either I'm still exhausted or I'm suffering from a block >.<; Which isn't good cuz I have a few things to finish.

But I'm going to be taking a small break from art for the weekend. I might doodle a little, and if I do, I'll post it, but until I get my mind straight again, I probably won't put out any big stuff >w<

Do you go look at color palettes or do you just splash color onto a character until it looks nice to you?

Just curious because I'm trying to find colors for a character, but it's turning out difficult xD I like more natural shades nowadays, as well as tan/brown/red/orange/cream that type of thing, usually with pawpads and noses that are drastically different owo (really loving blue stuff recently).

So yeah, just curious about what everyone else does when it comes to coloring and designing owo

June has come and gone (nice to be saying that 8 days into July), and with it what I was saving up for. came to visit for about 6 days, so that was awesome <3 It was horribly sad to see him go tho ;w;

But now I'm onto my next 'saving for' project, and that's getting (as the title said) a new tablet! My current tablet is good and all, but...I want to step up. I'd like a tablet that I can actually draw on o3o I have my eye on this one Ugee, but I have to save quite a bit to get all that I want with it. But hey, I saved up a lot of money in the past 6 month for the hotel fees, so I can do this!

Just gotta put out some more YCHs and lower the price for that paw thing o3o What was I even thinking with making them $10?! Pfft, silly Zotz.

I was driving my dad to his job at this place called Ocean City (busy tourist type city on the ocean), with my little siblings. I was taking them to play in the sand and get some ice cream while we waited a few hours for him.

Well, out of no where, this car slammed on their brakes in front of this van I was behind. There was nothing in the road, no cars in the way, they just put their brakes on for no apparent reason. Well, the van in front of me managed to stop in time, but, unfortunately, I wasn't.

Smashed up the front of the van I was driving so that it's pretty much totaled (even though my grandmother is adamant about getting it fixed...somehow >_>). My shoulder is hurting from it, but what I'm really worried about is my siblings, they were all so scared, and I feel like it's my fault x.x I've never even had a ticket in my years or driving, so it's just...I don't know.

So...I might be delayed a little more, at least until my shoulder isn't sore anymore :c Shouldn't be too long, just need some rest, ice pack, and maybe a little ibuprofen. If I can find a comfortable position to work with my tablet, I'll do it tho. No worries on that :U

Aaaah these last few days have been bad for cars. This is the third accident my family has been in in the last 5-6 days :'D My dad even rolled his truck 6 times (cop said he was lucky to be alive D: ). I dunno what's going on, but I don't like it xU

I'm currently drawing another picture of my hyena Dakota, and I have her posed in a certain why that both of her paws are visible. But I really want to draw them curled up, but everything I try just looks ugly. Does anyone have any advice? Have you drawn curled toes on digitigrade paws before?

So after that fiasco with SquareTrade, I've gotten myself a new laptop.

Well, I didn't get it. My grandmother did. God, she's a saint, and she tries to help all that she can. Ugh, I really gotta repay her some day. ...maybe I'll get up now and clean her house a bit. It's the least I can do :'D

But onto arts! I have a few things that I need to get and load up, SAI included, as well as figure out which brushes I need back on at this point in time. Then I'll be able to move onto getting commissions done.

Windows 10 is weird though, it's making the text and stuff on all the websites small ._. I wish I knew how to make them a little bigger. Does anyone know how :'D?

Anyways, that's about it. I gotta figure out how this new rig works lol

Edit: Thanks to my friend  crownedvictory, I've gotten a full copy of SAI 8D! Unfortunately, I'm going to be waiting a few days for my hard drive to come in so I can get my brushes back. Because I REEEEEEALLY need those brushes to work with ^^; Unfortunately, they were all custom made, so I don't quite remember what I did. If I knew I wasn't going to be getting my laptop back, I'd have moved the brushes too :B Ah well, lessons learned.
