Secret Santa assignments still ongoing!
General | Posted 2 weeks agoThank you all for your patience, I'm still going through and sending out the mission assignments! No one has been forgotten, merely sorting taking longer than anticipated due to volume and my workplace saying "Hey we need you to come in" at an inconvenient time.
Secret Santas will be assigned shortly!
General | Posted 2 weeks agoAlright folks, today is 11/23 and signups for Feral Secret Santa Project 2025 are now locked in!
We will begin shuffling the names around and will be privately notifying each and every participant within the next 24-48 hours who they have been assigned to be the Secret Santa of. Over 45 individual and personalized messages takes some doing, so don't panic if you haven't gotten a message yet. We have foxes, dogs, wolves, big cats, bears, horses, deer, dragons, and exotic other and more! Lots of new people joining in this year too, both familiar names and the quiet ones at the back of the class! This means there will be a fun chance of your Secret Santa being someone you already know, or the chance of meeting someone new entirely~
Once you've gotten the message containing the name and information of your gift recipient, the true hunt begins! You're free to browse for games, shop their Amazon lists, look around for YCH's or sketch a drawing yourself, donate to animal charities in their name, and more; your imagination will be the limit. I will assist anyone in need of some recommendations and will happily pass a message onto your gift recipient to ask further questions if need be!
For everyone else who aren't participating directly but have shown support for this project, I wish to thank you for all your kind words and helping to spread the message. Happy holidays to everyone!

Welcome to the Feral Secret Santa Project 2025!
General | Posted a month agoWelcome to the Feral Secret Santa Project 2025!
2025 has been a year and things sure did happen!
But despite the chaos going on, I choose to try to smile. Specifically, I am going to smile evilly like a mad dungeon master at a DnD table while listening to the plotting of my fellow ferals getting gifts for each other, and laughing as they roll a natural one on attempting to wrap presents without opposable thumbs. That's right, it's time for a new round of Secret Santa to bring the feral community together!
Typically the Secret Santa tradition is a fun holiday game where a small group of people get together and are randomly assigned to give gifts to each other in secret. For the Feral Secret Santa Project, we’ll be doing this game exclusively for the feral community (though folks of all shapes and sizes are welcome)!
The way this works is fairly straight-forward:
• Signups will run from November 2nd through November 22nd. Anyone interested in joining can click the entry form link below. No fees, watches, or favorites required!
• Once the deadline for signups has been reached, we will shuffle all names on the entry list around and randomly assign each participant to be the Secret Santa for someone else on the list. Only you and the event coordinator will know who you’ve been assigned to.
• After all participants have been assigned to someone, they will have until December 25th to research their gift recipient, find a fitting holiday present, and anonymously deliver the gift to their assignee while waiting to see what their own Secret Santa has in store for them! Gifts can be anything from artwork, Steam games, animal charity donations, even items off of Amazon or more; your imagination is the limit!
And that’s basically it in a nutshell!
Last year had 40 participants, and I met some crazy individuals and saw some amazing moments of people coming out of their shell to make sure they could find a great gift. Community events like this are always lots of fun and have a way of bringing folks together to end the year on a positive note. We can never really know what another person may have been going through throughout the year, but you would be amazed how even something as simple as a small but sincere gift from a stranger can bring a bit of joy to someone’s holidays. So we hope to see you join in and wish you all a happy holidays!

And the raffle winner is...!
General | Posted 3 months agoMy 500 Watcher Raffle has come to a close, and the winning number is...
#31! Congrats to
KokoAD! I'll contact you shortly about the prize!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank you everyone who gives me the time of day! I'm always swamped with things to do and genuinely appreciate the people willing to wait and put up with me anyways. And for those who had ideas in mind for a raffle prize but didn't win this time around, share your ideas with me and you never know what may happen! Because seriously, some of you folks I absolutely need to get a commission with ASAP! And I'll likely hold another raffle as soon as I get to the next milestone number too, whenever that may be!
In the meantime, go check out the artist for the raffle
LangJingshen, as they are usually open for commissions and have "wing-it" sketches meant for fun!

General | Posted 3 months agoAlright, it’s long past time I did a free art raffle! I hit 500 watchers ages ago!
It’s been a rough year for a lot of folks, but I’m stubborn and still kicking. I’m fueled by the power of spite and determined to keep pressing on regardless of work stress or health issues. During my quiet period, I still had friends doing check-ins on me, people willing to listen to me vent, cool artists who get me blushing with new commissions, and plenty of shared silliness to calm my urge to set the world on fire or reassure me I’ll survive living in a dysfunctional country. Y’all are great, and its time I returned the kindness. <3
So as promised I'm hosting a raffle for a shaded commission from
LangJingshen with your character and mine!
Here's how it'll work:
• Entrants have to be watching both me and Langjingshen. New watchers are always welcome (unless you have a suspiciously empty account), and obviously unwatching afterwards blocks you from any further events.
• The winner will get treated to a shaded commission from LangJingshen with your own character and mine, either SFW or NSFW. If you win, feel free to offer some suggestions for what sort of scene you would like or what species you'd like to see my shape-shifting sona in (fox, stallion, werefox, lion, bear, etc). Just remember that I'm a male-leaning feral and I have final say in what gets drawn, so no requesting female cub Bayard or something way out of my norm. I'm open minded and flexible for a number of things, but if you don’t see something in my gallery, its better to run limit-pushing ideas by me first before getting any kinky hopes up.
• Comment to this journal with something containing the word "fox" and link to your character's ref, and I'll (eventually) respond to assign you a raffle number. Sharing your idea if you win would also be fun, but not necessary if you need more time to think of something.
• Posting a journal boost with a link to the raffle and informing me of such will earn you an additional raffle number. Social media posts and other sites also count if you prefer, but you only get one extra number from boosting. XD
• You can get further bonus numbers by purchasing adopts from or sending $10 tips to LangJingshen’s Ko-Fi. They’re still recovering from an accident earlier this year, so any bit of goodwill would be appreciated and be rewarded with extra numbers in the raffle! Just make sure to let me know!
My next day off is conveniently one week from now, so the raffle will end at 12pm EST on 9/5/25 and the winner will be selected via random number generator. Good luck to everyone participating!
The raffle is now closed and the winner announced shortly in a new journal!

Sorry for long absence, it's been a rough year!
General | Posted 4 months agoPhew, it's been a hot minute, hasn't it?
More than a few people have noticed I've had a longer radio silence than ever before. I appreciate the wellness checks on me, and yes, I am still alive and kicking. Well, maybe not kicking, but I'm still here. I'm just eternally swamped and overwhelmed from my job and in an emotional slump from it all. I work as a manager for a retail craft store chain whose biggest competitors suddenly closed down in the last few months, meaning we now have almost a monopoly in our area of expertise. You would think having more business is a good thing for me, but no, it unfortunately just means we are now flooded with the workload from a popular fabric store and a popular party store in addition to our own popular craft store, all while the corporate overlords in charge of decisions think we can handle all of this with FEWER staff than before to save costs. Oh, and obviously no pay increases for the extra duties. Fuck you, greedy assholes.
To top it all off, we've been running with one less manager than we should have for nearly a full year now. The previous one got fired last year for shady stuff, but our starting pay is too low to entice anyone else remotely capable to be interested in taking the position. We split the extra workload among all of the remaining managers and somehow made it work. Earlier this year we finally got someone to fill the position and thought things were going to start to get better, only to recently get blindsided by an even more important manager also getting fired and having to deal with the fallout from that.
In the end, it's a job that allows me to pay my bills (and afford my porn, heh), and it's STILL considerably less hell than some folks have had to deal with here in the good old USA. But these days, if I'm not at work, I'm at home either passed out from sheer exhaustion or spending what little free-time I get with my real life partner trying to recover from dealing with retail insanity. I'm still reachable for the friends who know me, but I'm often not gonna have much to say unless you want to hear me prattle about work BS.
I'll try to get around to uploading the backlog of arts soonish, maybe hold a belated raffle for watcher milestone when time allows. Until then, thanks to those who reached out to check on me!

GoFundMe for friend's emergency hospital visit!
General | Posted 7 months agoOkay, so!
A good friend and one of my favorite artists
LangJingshen has his husband
Gear-Senpai in the hospital right now, after he was run off the road and essentially had his knee shattered as a result. Health-wise we are hoping that he will likely be okay in the long-run, but they live in the US and don't have insurance and have no way of identifying the car that did it, so financially this could hurt. To try to ease any worries, they've got a GoFundMe I'd like to ask folks to take a look at:
https://gofund.me/548d2352
https://gofund.me/548d2352
https://gofund.me/548d2352
If you can donate, awesome! If not, please consider sharing a link somewhere, even if just in a FurAffinity journal.
The more people who see it, the easier it will be to relieve any stress worries once the final bill comes in.

Happy Holidays from the Fox!
General | Posted 11 months agoMERR CRIMMUS YA FILTHY ANIMALS!!!
At this time, 40 out of 41 participants have checked in that they have already provided a gift for their recipient (with one or two participants working on a second gift to top their first one!), and even that last one left has a plan to catch up. I'd say it's been a successful holiday season, less stressful in both work and life than last year and far smoother of an event than I've seen in a while!
I want to truly thank each and every person who stops by or says hi for letting me be a small part of their life and being a small part of mine. It's not always easy, and goodness knows it will get harder in the coming year, but at this moment right now, I am happy to be here and able to share a bit of positivity with the world.
So, from me and my partner to all of you, happy holidays everyone and I'll see you in the new year!
PS: With work settling down, I have a LOT of uploads to catch up on! I think a new year raffle might also be called for now that the chaos is slowing down too! Check in soon for that too~

Final Check-In for Secret Santas!
General | Posted 11 months agoAnother busy holiday season has almost come to a close, but we're not done yet!
I have been going around to each participant individually this year to check in on progress periodically, and the vast majority of all of our participants have already finished their gift hunting (or were in the final stages) and either already given their gift or waiting until closer to the BIG day to deliver it. If you haven't gotten your own present just yet, don't worry, some folks have opted to give their gift on Christmas day itself! But if you are one of the few Secret Santas still hurrying to finish up the gift for your assignment, let me know as soon as possible if there is a chance of delay (such as being unable to get hold of the artist since their last update) so that I can reach out to your recipient and let them know they haven't been forgotten!

Welcome to the Feral Secret Santa Project 2024!
General | Posted a year agoWelcome to the Feral Secret Santa Project 2024!
Halloween had been doing a fantastic job of keeping Mariah Carey at bay, but the time has now come where my workplace puts festive holiday music on repeat for a full 12-hour day. Rather than let myself go mad from listening to “All I Want For Christmas Is You” over and over, I will embrace the holiday chaos and throw open the doors for this year's holiday shenanigans to begin. And what better way to do so than with a new round of Secret Santa to bring the feral community together and laugh at our own inability to properly wrap presents without opposable thumbs.

Joining the Bluesky Bandwagon
General | Posted a year agoI finally did the thing and joined the troves of people escaping Twitter after their latest changes. For anyone interested, you can also find me on Bluesky!
I made both a SFW account and a NSFW account to separate out my love of posting cute/silly yips from my horny posting, both out of respect for my ace friends and to avoid whiplash between fox pics and furry porn.

I'll be slowly uploading good chunks of my commissions from the years there as well.

GoFundME for WerewolfDegenerate's House Fire
General | Posted a year agoBefore this year's secret santa and holiday shenanigans begin, I want to take a moment to ask everyone to consider helping an artist who recently lost his home to a fire.
WerewolfDegenerate is a friend from Finland who has been supporting himself exclusively through his amazing art. Sadly, three weeks ago his house was destroyed in an electrical fire, and while he and his dogs were unharmed, he lost almost everything. Due to red tape / bureaucracy of the country, a temporary apartment won't be available for him until December (and we have to be honest, any dealings with the government is bound to have further complications so even that is being hopeful). With it already being a cold country, he'll need assistance as quickly as possible for survival, so a GoFundMe has been set up to try to help as quickly as possible to get him basic needs. Anything extra will go towards art supplies so he can eventually return to his art career if/when life has settled.
Anything you guys are willing to do will go a long way, even if it's just passing the word along to others. Please take a moment to look.

And the raffle winner is...!
General | Posted 2 years agoMy combination 400 Watcher / New Year Raffle has come to a close, and the winning number is...
#12! Congrats to
Anyoto! I'll contact you shortly about the prize!
I know I sound like a broken record, but I'll say it again:thank you everyone who gives me the time of day! Busy does not begin to describe my life, I'm always swamped with things to do and genuinely appreciate the people willing to wait and put up with me anyways. And for those who had ideas in mind for a raffle prize but didn't win this time around, you can always reach out and share your ideas with me and you never know what may happen! Maybe I've been interested in something with you too!
I'll likely hold another raffle as soon as I get to the next milestone number too, whenever that may be. In the meantime, Thorn is also holding a raffle right now and is definitely worth checking out!

Fox's 400 Watcher Free Art Raffle! (Closed)
General | Posted 2 years agoCombination New Year's raffle and 400 watcher milestone raffle! Let's go!
A lot of people joke about new years resolutions being silly and quickly abandoned come January 2nd, but I like to make simple, easy-to-achieve goals and think of them as self affirmations to improve in little ways. For example, my resolution from 2023 was to commission artists more frequently and be less shy about my own ideas instead of relying solely on YCH's. Something simple to get me to open up a little more and reach out no matter how embarrassingly horny the idea sounds. While I still had plenty of YCH's uploaded into my gallery, a lot of what I got this year were original commission ideas, gifts, and artistic liberty pieces that I'm very happy with. I'd say 2023 was a success in that regard!
For 2024, I'd like to try to get back into writing, so my goal will be to attach a mini story at least once a month to a commission upload (whether past or present) to make things more exciting and get more practice in. If I'm successful, maybe I can start commissioning ideas around my writings instead of writing about the commission. We'll start by hosting a quick raffle for a commission with my character and yours, so that I have something to write about!
Here's how it'll work:
* As most raffles go, entrants simply have to be watching me to be eligible. New watchers are welcome (unless you have a suspiciously empty account), and obviously unwatching afterwards blocks you from any further events. Don't be a dick.
* The winner will get treated to a commission with your own character and mine. The actual artist, exact scene, and SFW/NSFW is all to be determined after the winner is picked so that I can choose an artist good with the winner's species. If you win, feel free to offer some suggestions for what sort of scene you would like or what species you'd like to see my shape-shifting sona in (fox, stallion, werefox, lion, bear, etc). Just remember that I'm a lil' gay feral and I have final say in what gets drawn, so no requesting female cub Bayard or something way out of my norm. Essentially you pick the characters and scene, I pick the artist, finalize the details, and pay the bill.
* Comment to this journal with your own New Year's resolution for 2024 and a link to your character's ref, and I'll (eventually) respond to assign you a raffle number. It doesn't have to be a complicated goal for a resolution, just something realistic that you'd like to see or do this year. :3
* Posting a journal with a link to the raffle and informing me of such will earn you an additional raffle number. Plus, hide the magic code words from the New Year journal into your comment and you'll get another additional number.
My next day off is conveniently one week from now, so the raffle will end at 10am EST on 1/7/24 and the winner selected via random number generator. Good luck to everyone participating and lets make 2024 a year to remember!

End of the Holiday Season (and surprise raffle?)
General | Posted 2 years agoWhew, 2023 was a rough year!
For me, my partner and I started with our property manager kindly informing us that it was time for our yearly rent increase and it would be raised by about THREE HUNDRED a month, so we responded by finding a new place closer to my job that only cost one hundred more and was considerably bigger. I never realized how much I missed having space for in-house washer/dryer instead of a laundromat. Unfortunately for this fox, while the move went off without too much hassle, my work decided to ramp up the workload immediately after and life became much more difficult. Something about the corporate overlords having dropped new hire pay to the minimum and then being surprised that we can't hire any new people. To this day, if you message me and wait a while for a response, it's because I'm still typically buried in work or resting at home from having overworked myself. My poor game and book backlog are crying!
I even missed the 400 watcher mark! But I'll be posting up a free raffle very soon to make up for that. Just remember the code words "yip yap" when the time comes~
But at the very least, despite how hectic my work life has been and the amount of multitasking I had to do, the Feral Secret Santa Project has had another successful year with every present delivered. It's always my favorite part seeing the excitement and reactions for who got who and hearing the excited ideas for what to give. We had 30 participants this year, a mixture of every species with both regulars and first timers, known faces and new strangers. I was thrilled to see so many folks working hard to try to make each other happy and will always be willing to organize these festivities no matter how crazy our lives may get. Just a moment of positivity can sometimes make a world of difference to someone.
So, from the bottom of my heart, I wanna wish you all a happy new year and hope that no matter what 2024 may bring, you'll find some positivity that makes every hurdle all worth the while. <3

Holidays are almost over!
General | Posted 2 years agoTo say it has been a busy holiday season is grossly over simplifying it, but the biggest day is almost here and that means it's almost over. Anyone who knows me personally probably knows I've been struggling to keep up with a full-time job that dropped triple the workload on me with basically half the staffing, and working near 60 hour weeks in a retail environment is exhausting to put it very very mildly. Nothing says Christmas quite like everyone getting sick at the same time and clients waiting until the last moment to order something from me as a gift. I apologize if you ever have to wait half a day for me to respond, it likely is because I don't have more than a few seconds to look at my phone now and then.
Despite the difficulties, I've done my best to make sure all of this year's Secret Santa's are taken care of, and presents are flying left and right now. If you are a Secret Santa and you are still working on yours, don't worry because you likely aren't the last one to deliver, but keep in mind its gonna get busier as we get closer to the deadline so make sure to keep me in the loop for how things are going.
For those of you who already have received your present, if you enjoyed the gift I would love to show off a few of the ideas that people came up with with your permission!

Secret Santa Check-Ins!
General | Posted 2 years agoAlrighty folks, we are now at the halfway point!
It's been three weeks of Secret Santa research and gift hunting, and there are still three weeks left until the final deadline! A good number of people have already messaged me to let me know they were all finished with their gift or have made significant progress. That's awesome, you're awesome! If you're not one of those people, don't fret, there's still plenty of time as long as you've got an idea of what you'll want to do or give for the gift.
Since we're now in December, this is a good time to remind everyone of three important yet often overlooked things for the actual giving part of the gift-giving:
Advice #1) The only time limit that everyone has is that they need to find and deliver their gift before December 25th. That's it, that's the only time requirement. This means you are absolutely free to find and give your gift as early as you want, or you can wait until December 24th if you need extra time or wish to give your gift closer to the holidays. Some people have even asked me to deliver on their behalf on specific days due to timing. HOWEVER! It is not a bad idea to make sure you have started on your gift sooner than later (or at least have a steady plan in place), as unexpected delays can pop up at inconvenient times the closer we get to the busy holidays. Also keep in mind that even if you yourself give your gift fairly early, the Secret Santa working on your own gift might need a little more time, so please don't feel like you've been left out if you haven't received your own present just yet!
Advice #2) The best method of delivering a gift to your assigned recipient will vary depending on what you chose to give, and whether you wish to remain anonymous or not. If your gift is art or online gift card, then you can either ask me to provide them a link to the page if you want your identity kept secret, or you can ask for their contact info and approach them directly to provide a link yourself if you don't mind introducing yourself. If your gift is a Steam game, you'll probably have to skip the anonymity and add them as a friend first, or else look into Steam keys if you still wish to remain secret. Physical items shipped to an address work best with a tracking number, so that the person it is being shipped to can keep an eye out for any mysterious packages. ANONYMITY IS OPTIONAL, you don't have to stay secret if you don't want to. Some people love the mystery, some people love seeing the reactions directly. That choice is completely yours!
Advice #3) While we hope that everyone enjoys the presents they receive, it is almost unavoidable that there will be some Secret Santa gifts that are less than impressive, such as being given a gift that your Secret Santa did not realize you already have or some details being off on their gift art your character. Every participant will always put a lot of thought and good intentions into their gift, but it should go without saying that there are no guarantees that you will receive as good as you give. The nature of random assignments means there's always a chance that the person assigned to be your Secret Santa is someone who will struggle to think of a good gift idea for you or is a non-artist who finds themselves financially compromised and has to balance a good gift with their budget needs. So, we encourage Secret Santas to do their best in choosing a good gift and reach out if they need help, but we also ask that all participants be graceful in accepting their own present even if it is not what you were hoping for. You are always welcome to discreetly ask if some alterations can be made (if possible), and we will look into what can be done.
We are really flexible on the what, when, and how. The only hard requirements are the who and making sure to notify me when you have delivered or are ready to deliver the present. I keep a nice/naughty list so I know who I need to check in on when things get closer to the deadline!

Helpful Artists for the Secret Santas!
General | Posted 2 years agoWhew, it took some doing but everyone is now sorted and notified of their Secret Santa assignments! This year is a bigger year than previous by a fair margin, with 30+ participants each beginning to plot out what to do for their gift recipient. But since artwork does tend to be the most common gift among furries, I figured it might be a good idea to pool together some artists' names for anyone in need of a suggestion!
LangJingshen is a talented artist capable of multiple species for reasonable prices!

Secret Santa's will be assigned shortly!
General | Posted 2 years agoAlright folks, today is 11/15 and signups for Feral Secret Santa Project 2023 are now locked in!
We will begin shuffling the names around and will be privately notifying each and every participant within the next 24 hours who they have been assigned to be the Secret Santa of. There's quite a large number of participants and it can take a bit to contact everyone, so don't panic if you haven't gotten a message yet. We have foxes, dogs, wolves, big cats, bears, horses, deer, dragons, and exotic other and more! This means there will be a fun chance of your Secret Santa being someone you already know, or the chance of meeting someone new entirely~
After receiving the name and information of your gift recipient, the hunt begins! You're free to browse for games, shop their Amazon lists, look around for YCH's or sketch a drawing yourself, donate to animal charities in their name, and more; your imagination will be the limit!
For everyone else who aren't participating directly but have shown support for this project, I wish to thank you for all your kind words and helping to spread the message. Happy holidays to everyone!
