Just putting this up to let you know I'm planning on being more active here in the winter months! Been trying to move out of the in-laws, and dealing with misc other yearly malarchy. Poster Printing Question
General | Posted 10 years agoHey guys, does anyone know a good place that prints and ships posters that is reliable and won't share my images?
I'm looking to print my current and future poster projects, and it would be nice to find a place I can trust to do the job.
At least, until I can afford my own poster printer.
Also, I will be making a new commission guide that will include a poster option of 11" x 17". Blargh, so yea, any good places?

General | Posted 10 years agoAs the title implies, my life is back to where it was before my crash in February. My insurance has been spectacular and all the people I dealt with were impeccably kind and empathetic. Now that all the drama is a few months in the past, it's time to get back to drawing! Thank you guys for hanging with me in my absence, and thank you new watchers for your appreciation! Until next time, adios!!!
TL;DR
General | Posted 10 years agoSooooo. . . I guess you could say things have kind of been spiraling this way and that way for me. I'm not even sure where to begin, but here goes: I totaled my first car, and managed to get out unscathed. The car was wrapped around a light pole, miraculously no damage to the light pole. My mom, who is no longer on speaking terms with me, told me that Rooc doesn't love me and that I should move back home with her. When I wouldn't do as she said, she told me to "Have a nice life," and that I was ungrateful. Aside from that work has been going surprisingly well. I'm not the best Tech on the team, but I'm catching my mistakes and correcting them more and more. When all was said and done, I managed to pay off the loan on my old car thanks to my insurance and was able to get a new car thanks to it. I'm still dizzy from all this; I feel uneasy and more scattered than normal.

I don't like winter and the memories it has for me. I don't know if I have SAD or not, but I'm finding it harder each year to cope with this season. General | Posted 11 years agoSo today was my first day at the hospital and have to say I loved it! However, with my current schedule for the week, I'm going to have to seriously retrain myself to be up and ready at 4am. What this means art wise is that I will probably slow down again until I find a good sleep pattern, but I do have a few finished pieces, sketches, and my contest entry (which I'm not sure about just yet) that I can post to fill the gap.
Now that that silliness is outta the way, what is y'all's favorite childhood horror story? Mine is the old folk tale of The Taily-po! I remember back in elementary school that they had this book in the library that came with an audio cassette and I still have nightmares about it lol!

General | Posted 11 years agoOriginally thought I was going to be late for orientation at the hospital today, practically ran all the way across the parking lot, then up 3 flights of stairs, across an inter-building bridge, rode an elevator like a pinball, then finally got to HR. Only then was I greeted with confusion because my orientation isn't until tomorrow! XD

Halloween Wing-it Commissions (Closed)
General | Posted 11 years agoOk, so I'm going to open 2 additional non-reserved slots for Wing-it style commissions.
What this means is that you tell me which character of yours (or your friends with their permission noted to me) that you wish me to draw, and pretty much do whatever I want with them within reason.
You may include a short bio of the character if you want, so I'll have a general idea of what they are like and even a ref image of them.
Other than that, it will be a surprise as to how the final product turns out.
These will all be full color images with simple backgrounds.
The pricing on these is half my normal rate, since they are Wing-its. So $10 :3
I should also let you guys know, this month is going to be a little rocky for me, since I'm transitioning from my current job to my new one and still have some running to do.

Also, if anyone knows of any good high calorie-healthy foods, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.
Lately I haven't been eating a whole lot, given that neither of my internship or job offer a lunch break since I only work 5 hours at each on average, and I'm feeling really sickly >~<
