the harder you fight it the faster it comes, the more resistance you put up, speeds up your perception of time and you reach the climax and subsequently ending faster.

In pursuit of life, you sacrifice time. You work and spend your time resisting and causing time to move faster. You perceive the means justifying the ending. So when it ends and everything is meaningless, you feel more cheated the more work you put in. Death is gods darkest and fairest being.

You cant have your cake and eat it too. You seek a story so you read a page and subsequently there is one less page till the ending. The faster you want to hear the story and get to the good part the less book you have.
