UPDATE 02/08/26: Commissions have been selected for this round! There were a lot of really cool comms I had to turn down, it's so hard to say no to such fun ideas 😭 I did possibly take a couple extra, but that mainly stems from a change in scheduling plans. After reviewing what comm work would look like alongside planned comics, Patreon art and events, and attending TFF at the end of March, I decided to move the next opening to April 2, taking a few additional small comms to make this round a 2-month period. I think 2-month opening periods is what I'll be aiming for going forward; parsing through submissions every month feels like a lot of extra effort, but 3-4 months as it has been feels like I'm giving myself a "backlog" and y'all have to wait a long while. 2 months feels like the sweet spot in the middle!

UPDATE 02/02/26: Commissions are closed again! I'm seeing y'all sent in *33* submissions this time, I really was trying to keep it lighter this time guys! XD It's gonna take me a bit to figure out how to pick out only 3 from that, so I'll be reaching out to those picked at the end of the week. I won't make a separate announcement when that's done, but I'll add a second update to this journal, and as always you can see live updates on my Trello.

Currently the plan is to open for commissions again on March 14; details and confirmation will come closer to the actual date. If your submission isn't selected this round, please feel free to resubmit it next time!! I'm able to work on literally less than 10% of the ideas here, there are so many great ones I'd love a chance later to work on 💙 Thank y'all so much for all your interest and support of me and my art!

Getting 43 submissions last time was a mind-boggling number that blew past all expectations I had! It was really flattering and awesome seeing so many exciting ideas, but having to reject so many of them due purely to time constraints was admittedly kinda stressful. I want to mitigate that some and make good on my stated intent of having more frequent openings, which is the main reason why this time is so short. I've already scheduled out February with time planned for 3 slots taken here, and intend to open again on March 14. Details and confirmation will come when we're closer to the actual date.

If your commission request isn't picked this time, that does NOT mean I'm outright rejecting it, and you're encouraged to resubmit it during future openings if you're still interested later! There are so many incredible ideas that're submitted each opening I get genuinely excited about, but then I literally don't have time to get to all of them.
