Yo, wat it do? This is the group pertaining to those furries who like to flap their hands, wings, paws, fins, tentacles, whatevs, and tween said appendages about their heads in bodies at the sound of Electro, house, or a combination thereof.



For those who don't know, Tecktonik, or Tck as it is often abbreviated, is a dance originating from the nightclub scene in Paris, France. It was created when dancers sought a way to dance comfortably to harder, Northern European Electro and Electro-house. What was originally a dance transformed into a cultural phenomenon among urban French youth such that Tecktonik became it's own franchise. Tecktonik also has it's own style of clothing and hairstyles as well as it's own energy drink. For the sake of avoiding infringement, it can also be referred to as Electro Dance and Milky Way. Tecktonik has very little exposure in America unlike other electronic dances from outside the US like Jumpstyle and Melbourne Shuffling. In fact, it barely has a presence outside France at all. I'm hoping this group can help spread awareness of this dance and quite possibly push dancers of other genres into the direction of learning to master Tecktonik.
