Why a Gryphon?
10 months agoSooooo....I guess time for some backstory on why this was the choice of species. Firstly, I am a huge lover of fictional characters not so much for the lewd protrayal we have in the more adult section of the fandom, but the sheer nostalgia from how said character moved you when you first saw said character on a television screen or in a game.
Sure I had games like Sly Cooper and such, but in all reality, I had a lot of love for when watching Harry Potter and when they first introduced the Hippogryf Buckbeak. At first, I was a very hardcore into zebras, raccoons, and stags [deer] because of my love of animals that usually just have their own personality and survive better in groups, but the natural love of the skies, the stars and the wide array of enthusiast-driven amusement park roller coasters caused me to shift gears from that I feel safe choice as most in the fandom when they start go for something simple and easy to represent them.
Gryphons are just such a majestic creature on top of they have some seriously powerful wings, meant to explore amd not be afraid to break out of the nest to see the world around them.

One thing that really came to my mind is my love for The Lion King and how the colors, the personality, and how the character was brought to life really made said characters special to so many of us, and as soon as I saw that my now sona was available for adopt, the joy washed over me and I was so vibing with the character entirely.
Obviously while fictional, Aeragol represents a good bit of me and I hope the joy I have in bringing him more to life in my art circle will also bring a joy to your heart as you read the stories. Aeragol just speaks of a story that isnt Harry Potter or anything like what I have seen or read, and I want to make him like me, but a story all his own and one we can all enjoy together.
This was just a follow up to the reason for the new account update, but with more details on the sona switch.
From now on, you all can call me Syn, Araegol, or Blue Auran, or just silly gryphon if you wish. ^^
