Hello to everyone who has managed to find my page, I am known on teh internets by the name of Alastor, the Undead Philosopher. I am neither an artist nor a furry, but I do sympathize with the lack of inhibition anyone who goes by either of these titles must possess. Currently I'm unemployed and seeking re-enrollment at a university in order to try to enter the global community, gain a sense of worldly purpose and all that happy shit.

My greatest joys in life come from learning and discussing philosophy and science, especially the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, The radical left, and Astronomy. In my free time I enjoy a plethora of nerdy things: including Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, watching anime and pwning noobs in video games. I'm very passionate in what I do and think, eccentric and always challenging. Often I appear pretentious or aloof, but this does not mean that I don’t understand the value of a good sense of humor and try not to take myself too seriously.

I like intelligent discussion, creativity and skill or expertise in any area. I dislike mediocrity, conformity and "seriousness" in all of it's different guises. I value reason and compassion above all else.

The highest virtue is Arete or self-mastery.
