FAQ / About this account (G)

Greetings,
I’ve noticed that I often receive some frequent questions, so I figured it would be easier (and clearer) to answer them all in one place.
Do you do commissions?
I often get asked if and when I’ll take commissions. As a general rule, I do not, aside from very rare exceptions. If that ever changes, I will make a public post about it myself. More broadly, I have no interest in monetizing my art in any form. I draw because I feel the need to, not because I want to turn it into a service or a product.
When and why did you start drawing?
I first started drawing seriously in 2020. At the time, I was looking for new inspiration and a way to connect with other people through art. I had always admired those who had been doing it for years, and drawing became both a form of expression and a way to reach out to others.
I kept practicing and eventually moved to digital art in 2022. Since then, I’ve drawn regularly, usually for at least a couple of hours a day, aside from periods when I couldn’t for personal reasons. I made a lot of art in the meantime, but I don’t think any of it became truly worth sharing until 2024. Most of my older drawings are not online because they no longer reflect the level I wanted to reach. I didn’t appear out of nowhere already knowing how to draw. What you see now is the result of years of practice, study, frustration, and improvement. I also reserve the right to take older works offline if I feel they no longer reflect my current skills.
What's your account focus? Do you support LGBTQ+?
All of my social accounts are about art, and art only. You won’t find posts about drama, personal updates, politics, or unrelated topics. I prefer to keep my space focused and quiet, and to share my work without mixing it with anything else.
I also want to make it clear that all of my accounts are LGBTQ+ friendly spaces. I support the LGBTQ+ community and strongly believe in people’s right to express themselves freely, safely, and authentically. Some of my art may include LGBTQ+ themes or characters. That is not up for debate, and it is not something I feel the need to justify. If that makes you uncomfortable, then my accounts are probably not for you. Discrimination, harassment, or disrespect toward LGBTQ+ people will not be tolerated here.
What do you usually draw?
I mainly draw my own characters, and I have several of them. The main one is my sona, Alyx. She’s a female bear who lives a fairly ordinary life but dreams a lot and imagines herself in different roles and scenarios. I also have several original characters that belong to a shared universe called "The Chrononauts", along with a few others outside of it. It’s a long-term personal project that I hope to explore more seriously in the future. I also occasionally draw fan art, as well as friends’ and other people’s OCs.
What are your styles and themes in your art?
I currently work with two distinct styles: my Regular Bold style and my Stained Glass style. I usually use the Stained Glass style when I want to convey specific emotions or when I feel a piece works better in that form.
For me, art is a long-term process of exploration and self-expression. I’m not interested in chasing trends or algorithms. I’m interested in drawing what feels honest to me in that moment. You’re free to interpret my work however you like, and I always enjoy reading people’s thoughts and impressions.
Why do you include alt text in your illustrations and why do you think accessibility is important?
I include alt text on my artworks to make them accessible to as many people as possible, including blind and low-vision users. Unfortunately, FurAffinity doesn’t provide a dedicated setting for this, so I add it in the general description box instead. I try to follow established accessibility guidelines, and I think this guide does a particularly good job of explaining how alt text works and how to write it well.
It does take extra time, but I believe it matters. Art should be something people can experience, not something that excludes them by default. This is a conscious choice. And no, I do not use AI to generate it.
What's your stance on AI / Generative AI?
I do not support the use of generative AI, and I am personally against it. I’m part of the art space, I’ve met many artists who rely on their work as a source of income, and I know how important it is to support them. At the same time, I try to stay informed about current developments because I think it’s important to understand what is happening around us.
From my point of view, generative AI brings more harm than benefit, especially in artistic and creative spaces, which is why I choose not to use it in any form for my work.
What's your posting pace?
I don’t follow a fixed posting schedule. Sometimes I post often, and sometimes I disappear for a while. Usually that just means I’m studying, experimenting, or busy with other things, so please don’t read too much into it.
Do you accept feedback and casual interactions? What if I notice mistakes in your drawings?
Constructive feedback is welcome when it’s respectful and made in good faith. I’m open to thoughtful observations about my work, including mistakes I may have missed. Like many artists, I sometimes notice issues only after posting, whether in anatomy, perspective, proportions, or rendering. That is part of the process, and I keep learning from it.
What I’m not interested in is unsolicited advice, comparisons to other artists, or comments pushing me toward AI or commissions. This account is mainly a space where I share my work, so I prefer interactions to stay within that context. If you’d like to raise a concern with me directly, you can reach out through Notes.
Can I use your art for personal or commercial purposes?
I’ve noticed cases where my art has been reposted without credit, so I want to ask clearly that my work not be reposted without my explicit permission. I do not authorize the use of my images for personal or commercial purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, avatars, profile pictures, banners, wallpapers, reposts, edits, or any form of redistribution.
Additionally, please do not use my art for AI training, reference datasets, scraping, or similar purposes in any form. If you enjoy my work, the best support is simply being here and engaging with it where I choose to share it.
Thank you to everyone who follows, comments, or quietly looks. It genuinely means more than you might think.
