otherkin, therian, fictionkin, plural systems, otherhearted individuals, and otherlinkers, but it may also be used to refer to

transhumanists, trans-species individuals, daemians, and vampires among others.

Due to an unfortunate coincidence, the colors of the nonhuman unity flag are similar to those of the gender critical flag. This was not intentional. This account stands FIRMLY in support of trans, nonbinary, 2-spirit and other LGBTQIA+ identities. The color meanings are as follows:



The green stripe is meant to represent therianthropes and those with a more animalistic or earthly experience of identity.

The white stripe is for all other nonhuman identities.

The purple stripe is for otherkin and fictionkin.



ALTERHUMAN SYMBOLISM



The symbol on the nonhuman unity flag is a cross between the septagram (often used to identify Otherkin) and the theta-delta (often used to identify Therians - sometimes stylized as ΘΔ) with a unified circle. Some users also use ⎇ to identify themselves as alterhuman.



This is different from the zeta symbol (displayed as ζ in text) which is often used by zoophiles (individuals who have sex with animals) to identify one another online. Obviously, this account does not condone, defend or support this practice. We encourage you to report zoophiles through any/all necessary channels.
