Digital artist ordinare. My art is a way for me to relax when I have a free minute, so I tend to draw what's easiest - which is my original anthro characters and my D&D characters. I also take commissions from time to time because I am what French philosophers would describe as le poor, très broke. I have a bunch of characters for all moods and vibes, but my spider characters are my favorites. I overwrite characters for fun. I sometimes draw NSFW stuff but only when I feel like it. My dream is to one day have 1k followers on any of my socials. Not for popularity, but to get to talk to others and have fun with what I do.
I love horror stories, thrillers, spiders, bugs, pugs, tasty iced chai lattes, reading, writing, gaming, trying cool restaurants, meeting and talking to cool people, and my favorite webcomics. I work hard at my job so when I get online or draw it's all about what's easy. I love spookiness and cuteness, my favorite aesthetics are wildly different, and I can never pick which one I like more so you're seeing whatever aesthetic is currently winning at the time. We're high femme and macabre in here. I'm online when I can be, but between my family and exploring the city I'm not online consistently. I am so grateful for everyone who leaves a nice little message, truly. I read every single comment and appreciate every positive interaction big or small. If I ever don't respond to a comment it's either because I forgot or I don't have anything better to say than a 'omg thanks I appreciate that'. Artists or viewers that seek to normalize / romanticize / sexualize these horrible things will never be welcome and needs to get the fuck off my page. This condemning does not include media that portrays expressions of these darker topics in relation to trauma, or the complexities of how these psychologically devastating topics can affect those who have to live through them. The ability to take painful topics and analyze its horrors and affects on people or characters is important when done well. Writing or drawing complex feelings related to topics of abuse is very different from someone openly fetishizing or normalizing the ethically unacceptable. Mental illness or 'survivor status' is not an excuse for creating the material used to groom or victimize others - and this 'just fictional' material also emboldens predators and violators and comforts them for the ideations they have that can easily turn into online/offline actions. Those who promote human rights violations are not the kind of people who deserve a platform, much less my time or attention. I will block, report, and move on.
