Due to developing Parkinson's Disease (right side shakes), I've become medically retired from my nursing this last year. So now I have some free time, my son has pulled me into the furry/anthro world via the Napping Cat's Dream. I also have taken up digital photography with a gallery on deviantArt under the name of Fayrith. And since a recent and first ever dragon dream, I'm working at creating a dragon persona named SunshineDragon for the color I was in that dream. And then there's my true alter-ego: a curious packrat!

I like a wide variety of interests: everything from computer games like the NCD and World of Warcraft, Sudoku and Mah Jhong; to arts and crafts like rubber stamping/papercrafting to traditional drawing to learning about digital photography and how to use Adobe PhotoShop and PS Elements; to sewing and textural handcrafts like making doll clothes for my granddaughter to quilting to handweaving and old fashioned rug hooking with wool strips into burlap backing; to foreign languages like Spanish and just trying to learn Russian and Japanese; to music like playing my pennywhistles (also called tinwhistles) and various percussion instruments like djembe and doumbek to some kind of a Wurlizer keyboard computer that I just picked up at a garage sale today!

Now I have the time and the 'stuff'--I just gotta figure out with my disabilities what I can do and what I need to come up with as creative alternatives to be able to still enjoy all these interests! *.^
