the creater of Blacksmithfurs. This is a group for the furs that have taken thier artistic skill not to paper and pencil but to metal. This sight welcomes blacksmiths, bladesmiths, silversmiths, foundry workers and more. If metal is your passion then you are welcome here. The crash of steel, the flash of sparks,
The hammer tolls, the strong voice barks.
From the flames, burning cherry red,
forms the steel, that reaps the dead.
Pride in arm and strength in mind.
Yet this artisan can be kind.
In his shelves are lined the toys,
little bells for the girls and boys.
But wise is he, for he knows his place.
Joy in his work, from the steel the marrs he will erase.
With a mighty swing, the blade does ring,
Now he shows you, that even brute force will sing

The group is not dead. It has only taken a back burner to current priorities. Anyways, I have been smithing alot in the past few months. made a square drift punch from a car spring only to have a crack form. Im really learning how to work spring steel. Iv purchased a few tools. A nail header being the newest. also got some rivets for making tongs, now i need a riveting tool. I am also in the process of making a break drum forge out of an old grill. Picks will be posted in time. Good to know there is still a small group of blacksmith furs out there doing what they do best. keep up the good work.
