Who am I you ask? Well, I'm Cearux. I'm a 5'9' anthro wolphin. My general fur color is a deep bluish tint, fading to white at the paws/gloves/muzzle/stomach. I also have a long, finned tail with fin like head fur. Also, I have fenced ears that are black, matching my tail and head fur color as well. Most of my body is wolf like except for my head fur and my tail, both of those being more dolphin like. I also can breathe under water, also being able to swim at about 60mph while submerged in it.
As far as interests go, I'm widely into music. Generally, I listen to genres like Techno, Trance, DnB, orchestrated, acapella, instrumental, Trip Hop, RnB, Soul, Gospel, Dance, Sup pop, Pop, Electronica, Jazz, Metal, Alternative, Spoken word, Screamo.
Most of my favorite bands are indie. For example, Love/Star, Apollo's Child, A Sunset Diary, Sky eats air plane, and Foxy Shazam!
Other mainstream artists include Cold play, Justice, Daft Punk, The Go Team, Demon Hunter, LadyTron, The White Strips, Basment Jaxx, Amon Tobin(by far my favorite artist), and John Coletrain.
I personally consider myself to be a musician, not really mainstream, did a few dj gigs in the past year, working on selling a cd, but nothing to mainstream at all. I also love to read about peoples styles in music as to figure out wither they don't or do like a genre of music. Usually, I tend to find things that say 'Well, I don't like this style because it was programmed' or 'I don't like this song because all it is is samples.' or even, 'Its a remix, not even their work... I show them less respect.' When what does all the music really mean?
I tend to try and bypass discussions like the above as much as possible but when it all comes down to it... I see music like this;
Music to me, is like painting a picture, letting the sounds represent the scenery, the Bpm be the intensity of the action in the piece. The length of the piece being like the flicker of a fading light in the distance, constantly leaving the question at hand, 'Is it going out? or it it coming back to life.' How ever you see music it... I see it as a mosaic, all the pieces falling into place to form one grad picture none the less.
Also, for those of you who wonder how I compose, well I work with a varity of different things, I use live equipment for most of my rock, pop songs, and I use mostly programs like Fl Studio and M Audio for techno/ dnb pieces. Several people have said that they don't really like programmed music over performed but me personally, I tend to just try to bypass choosing a side. Both forms of recording in my opinion are methods of showing what you have to offer. I've also come to the understanding that there are several different styles of music for a reason... people aren't going to like everything they hear. However, if there is anything of mine that you find distasteful and would like to leave some critique on a piece, that would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, that's pretty much what I have to say about myself, oh! I also enjoy conversation, meeting other artists, and just generally hanging out with friends and such...

Dear Journal,
Its been a very long day, I'm just glad I finished that song today. I'm still thinking as to why I was so self conscious about posting something with my voice it, oh well. what ever changed my mind, ( possibly the amount of pain meds I'm on for this headache great fun :P )
I also have to say that I'm pretty glad to see all these different styles on here when it comes to art, all of it I've heard/ seen looks really good. Well, its late... I'm tired, I feel great. which is always good.
