Over the decades I sometimes get asked by friends and family "How's life?" and since I never liked giving a simple answer to such questions I often reply with "Life is a roller coaster. It's filled with ups, downs, and often times there's screaming involved.". I dislike the notion of a "good life" or a "life without regret". Whats good for one person isn't for another and no matter how much you want to say you have no regrets, deep down you will find you do, whether it was something major or minor we all have a few regrets in life. I've seen a lot. I've met a lot of people from all walks of life. I've seen the best in people and I've seen things that will haunt me till the end. One thing I've learned through it all is that it's not important if you "had a good life.". It's important if you had an interesting one. And my response to that question would be a definite and simple "Yes.".
