sooo i just got a note from a very new account that was only made a couple days ago, no pfp, very generic username, no bio or posts or anything, they weren't even following anyone

their message read as follows: "Are you currently open for commissions? If yes, do you have Discord or Telegram? It would be easier to chat. What’s your username?"

i was immediately pretty suspicious of this account, so i took a bit to think of how to respond. then they pretty quickly got banned for being spam...
so just take this as a warning to beware of scammers!
also does anyone have any info on this specific kind of scam? has anyone else gotten one of these? i tried googling it, but all that came up was stuff about scams where the scammer would message you asking you to commission them (which is the opposite of what this situation was)
