Collar Wearer Lisence Agreement
With the uptick in neckwear fashion popularity, many people are asking the question: "How can I accessorize my bare neck?"
We hear you loud and clear. It is beyond our capacity to respond to each query sufficiently so this generalized notice is being posted aiming to answer many questions at one centralized place. Be sure to read all the terms and conditions to find what is right for you.
What is a Chromaticollar?
A Chromaticollar is a collar design that is able to transform the wearer between various animal forms registered to their account. Each physical collar is assigned to a single user containing their account information. In-world a person would purchase a blank collar and edit their account over wifi near various relays adding the specifications of various forms. The collar can later turn a person wearing it into the forms tied to the account. Do not lose your collar or you will be stuck in your current form until you're able to get a replacement collar. Under no circumstances should one person wear someone else's collar. For safety reasons, locking on is a safety feature to prevent undesirable circumstances.
What does a Chromaticollar look like?
A brand new Chromaticollar is a grey band of a stretchy proprietary polymer with a blank clasp. During the set up process, the user will select a color to assign to their current body which becomes the default body tied to the collar. This default setting be changed later. Once active, the clasp will show the Chromaticollar Sigil on the front. The collar band will be the collar assigned to whatever form is currently in use. When the collar changes the form, the band will change to the color of the new form. The person wearing the collar's eyes will glow the same color for a while until they've stayed in that body for a while and the eyes turn to their normal color.
Chromaticollars can also be set up with a stealth mode for various in-world activities, including fashion or espionage, that allow it to be disguised as clothing or other items worn on the body. In this state, the menu system and ability to transform the wearer is disabled. The safety lock is also disabled in stealth mode, so this stealth feature is disabled while the account is less than 90 days old. Chromatech Industries is not liable if you lose your collar and become stuck outside of your primary body.
What kind of changes can a Chromaticollar make?
In addition to changing a user's species, the collar can modify the wearer's base material. For example, it can turn the wearer into a robot or a plush version of any particular animal. These may be more difficult to set up in the database, but they're certainly possible and it's that much more important to not lose one's collar. When in a new form, the collar will insert appropriate instincts to the user's subconscious to aid them in using their new body, managing wings or an oversized tail, for example.
